i heard that there wuz gonna be a ddr extreme 2
and have u guys noticed that ddr is becoming like really americanized? i mean not in a bad way i mean that they put a lot of rock songs and stuff on extreme it wuz ok but not the real ddr feelin

DDR Extreme 2 was an April Fool's joke a year or two ago. (seriously, why would Konami put Prelude into a DDR mix. They almost NEVER put good IIDX songs into DDR). Konami's continuing DDR through home versions. Bad idea, I think. :/

ryankun300 DDR Extreme 2 was an April Fool's joke a year or two ago. (seriously, why would Konami put Prelude into a DDR mix. They almost NEVER put good IIDX songs into DDR). Konami's continuing DDR through home versions. Bad idea, I think. :/ Prelude would make a hell of a lot of sense because every Naoki Underground song up to when Extreme was made was in DDR. You do know how IIDX songs are put into DDR, right? There's a poll on the Japanese website, and the most popular songs were put into DDR. V was the most popular pick when the poll for Extreme was being done. DDR isn't popular in Japan. Therefore an arcade mix would not make sense, home versions are the only way to make money.

I feel that DDR Extreme is getting a bit Americanized..I rarely hear any Japanese songs anymore and its getting kind of annoying..Ummm by the way, does anyone know which game is Butterfly on? I have Extreme and Max and I cannot find it! crying

Actually, Extreme 2 is coming out, the console version anyway. It was leaked the week of april 30th. All I know is that the eye toy support is coming back, and of only 2 new songs. (brace yourselft for bad stuff)
