When you are a parent, you require a lot of patience. I don't always have a lot of patience, so that is yet another reason I am unfit for a parent.

I agree. Kids ask stupid questions, and when somebody asks stupid questions, then I figure that person is stupid.
And I can't stand stupid people.

Ahhh yes patience.... unfortantly I have the patience of a saint. Example, I ask someone to meet me or be ready to go at a specific time. I will wait up to 20. minutes before I just give up and leave them be. There were times when I would wait on my dad for up to 2 hours. And I would not really even be pissed off just irritated. Sad thing is that if I am 5 min. late he drives off.
Another thing to add is that being a parent requires much selflessness. Another thing my dad does not possess. You see I remember this one time when I was in middle school I had a band concert. And my dad almost didn't attend because it was on the night that the last episode of Seinfeld came on. And in high school my dad would never attend my marching band competitions. He would attend the football games because he likes football and hitting on High School Girls who are 14-18.... keep in mind he was almost 50 at the time. Yet another thing I am cursed with... selflessness seriously. If someone asked me to do something, legal and resonable, I would drop whatever I was doing and do what they asked no matter how long it took.
I hate being cursed with the stuff needed by a parent.

I do not have alot of patientce. My life runs on a very strict schedule, which I have every minute of my time planed. If it gets messed up, then I either tend to pitch a fit, or get realy angry. I would make a horrible mother, and plus the only kids I want are cats.

I have patience, lots of it, and I'm just numb to stupidity by now, however being unwilling to give up what I want for something some dependant wants is another reason I would never have kids. I don't feel like it and know I'll probably survive not doing it, I'm highly unlikely to do it. Like revising this senior speech I'm supposed to read tommorrow. I STIIL can't bring myself to just do it as long as I know it's got a passing grade as it is and I like it how it is, even if that passing grade IS rather low. sweatdrop

Question does punching the wall in front of an annoying kid count as patience?

Yeah, it basicly means getting walked all over and stuck with the most annoying people nobody wants to be partners with for projects and such.

Yeah, I don't mind the annoying part as much... it is the stupid part that gets me. Some of them are must RETARDED!!! They can't think logically. But the ones I hate are the people who everyone but you want in their group.... you know the popular people who think they are better than you.

The stupid, incapable of logic people are my own definition of what's annoying. Oh I HATE that. I can't stand those people, the "popular" ones. What's the worst part is when you say you'd rather not be around them, everybody else then tries to assert that you're just bitter because THEY didn't to be around YOU. rolleyes some people are incapable of even imaging such a thing as standerds other then theirs may exist to mean I really DON'T want anything to do with this person even if they did win some stupid sports game I wouldn't have gone to if I was paid to. lol

It even scares them off... but most of all it shuts them up because an assertaion like that kills the possiblity for an arguement, the one thing they are looking for.

Chibi Alien Monster I agree. Kids ask stupid questions, and when somebody asks stupid questions, then I figure that person is stupid. And I can't stand stupid people. YES! Took the words right out of my mouth. I find that it's enough of a test of my patience, to explain simple things to adults. Trying to do that for children...? *Shudders*
Something would end up getting broken. I am not a patient person when stupidity is involved.

I'm a rather patient person. However I also have the defense mechanism "smile and nod." It's amazing what you can accomplish while just smiling and nodding your head occasionally.
