i joined this guild from a freind they said it was good but it seems like their are only girls here so anyone wanna tell me about Shoujo-Ai & Yuri
i know they are lez but whats it all about

Shoujo-ai is softer love between women/girls, while yuri is more hardcore love between women.
Shoujo-ai often doesn't involve sex, while yuri does.

X.rainbowflavoredpride.X Shoujo-ai - 'Girl Love' Love between two girls. Generally a term used to classify a genre of manga/anime/etc. possessing a romantic plot based around two girls. Yuri - 'Lily' This could be derived from two places. One would be where in 1970's Japan homosexuals were referred to as the Rose and Lily Clans/Gangs (Bara-zoku and Yuri-zoku), Bara being Rose (Bara is now used for 'real' japanese homosexual manga involving men). The second possibility is that Yuri was one of the first couples of this nature to be written about. Kei and Yuri, the original Dirty Pair.

Haha, it's not always between "lesbian" girls.
There are actual definitions for various sexual orientations, if you hadn't known already. :] The term "lesbian" applies mainly to girls who...to put it delicately, don't like d**k.
So Yuri and Shoujo-Ai is any girl-love material, really. It's not quite "lesbian" stuff.

Yeah, yuri is usually made by guys, so yuri material is made usually for guys. This is why it's rare that it's only lesbian stuff.

Hey, give the guy a break. So he didn't know what it was? Give him some good titles and see if he likes it. You never know. And you can look at it this way, at least he isn't trashing this guild.
