*suprised that nobody has started a thread yet* Yup, Fullmetal Alchemist, the popular anime that has been completly aired once in the states. Yes, the animation is good, but this is a manga guild! So, the manga itself? I totally reccomend it. Another shonen, written by Hiromu Arakawa, (a woman you dimwits). Anyway, there are about 6 volumes out in the U.S. and the series, like Fruits Basket, is still being written in Japan.

Anyway...I love FMA!
I don't buy the manga, but I borrow it from the library. (As many people have said: The privileged library. Due to the amount of manga and popular anime magazines there. rofl )
It's pretty good so far.
But I like the anime better because of a lot of things.
( I also read those novels that they have out now. <3 )

Anyway...I love FMA!
I don't buy the manga, but I borrow it from the library. (As many people have said: The privileged library. Due to the amount of manga and popular anime magazines there. rofl )
It's pretty good so far.
But I like the anime better because of a lot of things.
( I also read those novels that they have out now. <3 )

Becuase there seems to be a lot of libraries with manga these days. the library i go to does have manga Ya that it pretty common now. About all the libraies around me have a collection of manga plus a decent amount of anime on dvd. The great think about the ones around here they can share there selection so if you want you can get a book or movie from any of the libraies in the 11 surrounding counties (Total Populion of 2.9 million people as of 2004 cesus.) delvered to your local branch within a day or so.

Personally, I like the anime a lot more. But you really cant compare. The manga is pretty awesome by my standards. I love the extras! XD
