I'm going to post 1 puzzle per day, no more, for members to answer. Puzzles will stay up until a correct answer is given. Prize goes to the first person to answer correctly.
PRIZES Prizes will vary depending on the level of difficulty and ease of googling the answer. lol
No entry fee. If you know it, answer. I'll be the only one asking questions, so I'm the only member not eligible to answer.
If you have any suggestions for me, please send me a PM, I'd like to hear it.

Some of you may have seen this before, I know I have. I know there's no way I can keep you from cheating, so yeah, have at it. First person to post the answers will get a Bone Scythe
Try to guess what is meant without googling the answers. For example, the answer for (1) is " 26 Letters of the Alphabet." Remember, this is USA flavored test and it does not measure your intelligence. It measures your knowledge and creativity. The author for this test is unknown.

Ryokuzen Shadowstealer Did I mention I love puzzles? Well obviously you don't get the prize (yet) because you didn't finish the puzzle, but a very good start. haha Why'd you post if it was incomplete? I do admit though some of the answers were very entertaining even if they were about as wrong as they could be. LOL (#80 is also arguable if you want to be technical) biggrin

Five friends spend every Monday night eating Chinese food from the Golden Dragon. Howard has Mu Shu Pork, Leonard has Spicy Szechuan Tofu, Penny has Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, Raj has Beef with String Beans, and Sheldon has Chicken and Broccoli: diced, not shredded, with brown rice, not white, low-sodium soy sauce and the good hot mustard from the Korean grocery.
After dinner, they play a role-playing game called World of Nerds.
In this game, each player takes on a character belonging to a different race of creature, has a different occupation, uses a different sort of weapon, specializes in fighting a particular kind of monster, and has a different skill level.
Can you determine the characteristics of each player's character from the following clues before someone sits in Sheldon's spot?
Players: Howard, Leonard, Penny, Raj and Sheldon Races: elf, gremlin, halfling, hobbit and ogre Occupations: archbishop, merchant, paladin, sorcerer and thief Weapons: bolo, crossbow, dagger, fireballs and mace Monsters: chimeras, giants, harpies, kobolds and orcs Skill levels: range from 10-32
Clues:
1. The five characters in the game are Penny's, the 24th-level ogre, the thief, the fireball user, and the one skilled at fighting orcs.
2. The paladin isn't an elf.
3. The bolo user has a skill level twice that of the halfling.
4. Raj's character has a skill level eight levels higher than the paladin, who in turn is eight levels higher than the crossbow user.
5. The hobbit is no good at fighting giants.
6. The elf (who doesn't care for crossbows) is ten levels higher than the one who fights kobolds.
7. The one who is adept at fighting chimeras is four levels higher than Leonard's character (who isn't the archbishop).
8. The character at the lowest level (who isn't Penny) is at level ten and uses a dagger.
9. Neither the archbishop nor the merchant belongs to the race of gremlins.
10. The giant fighter never uses a mace in battle.
11. Raj's character isn't the elf.
12. Penny's character doesn't use the crossbow.
13. Howard's character is not particularly adept at fighting harpies.
For this one, I'll send you Azrael's Bindings

Man ok Rahl this one took me hours, I want a damn medal for this.... I had to work out the lvls first. The lowest lvl is 10 and therefore not Raj who has 16 more than the crossbow wielder. Now I pretty much guessed on this one but as Raj has 8 more than the paladin I guessed him to be lvl 32, making the paladin 24 and therefore most likely the ogre, which also makes the crossbow wielder lvl 16. Also by following the clues, the elf, who doesn't care for crossbows must be lvl 20, 10 lvl's higher than the one who fights kobolds.
So far that means: Lvl 10 - kobold fighter - dagger Lvl 16 - Crossbow Lvl 20 - Elf Lvl 24 - Ogre - paladin Lvl 32 - Raj
Now that the lvls are figured out it's just a case of following the clues. As neither Penny nor the ogre use the dagger, the thief must. And neither Penny or the ogre wield the crossbow, meaning the orc fighter must. As the bolo user has a skill lvl of twice the halfling that would make them the elf and would also make the halfling the lowest lvl character. This also means the ogre must use the mace and therefore means Raj wields fireballs, most likely making him the sorcerer.
Lvl 10 - Halfling - thief - kobold fighter - dagger Lvl 16 - Orc fighter - crossbow Lvl 20 - Elf - bolo Lvl 24 - Ogre - paladin - mace Lvl 32 - Raj - sorcerer - fireballs
As Penny can wield no weapons except the bolo or mace and cannot be the ogre she must therefore be the lvl 20 elf. This also means that as the lvl 24 cannot be 4 lvls higher than Leonards character that he is the lvl 16 and also that Penny is the Chimera fighter. As Leonard cannot be the archbishop this also means that he must be the merchant, making Penny the archbishop. As the ogre is wielding a mace he must fight the harpies, making Raj the giant fighter. This also means that as Howard does not fight harpies he must be the halfling, making Sheldon the ogre. And finally as per the clues, the hobbit does not fight giants, making Raj the gremlin and thus Leonard the hobbit.
Lvl 10 - Howard - halfling - thief - kobold fighter - dagger Lvl 16 - Leonard - hobbit - merchant - orc fighter - crossbow Lvl 20 - Penny - elf - archbishop - chimera fighter - bolo Lvl 24 - Sheldon - ogre - paladin - harpy fighter - mace Lvl 32 - Raj - gremlin - sorcerer - giant fighter - fireballs

This one's a mystery:
"The town's richest man was killed late last night in a shocking murder," the reporter exclaimed from the television across the room. "Chief Graham tells us that the police are carefully investigating everything and everyone, but they have no lead suspect yet." Chief Graham let out a sigh as he looked out the window at the reporter and the large crowd still gathered outside. "Isn't there anything better to do in this town than hang around a crime scene all day?" "No sir," answered Detective Jefferson. "Just the bowling alley, but it's really lame." "My nephew runs the bowling alley." "That's right, sir! And what a lovely bowling alley it is! Fantastic...pins." "Will you just go over the facts with me one more time, detective?" "Well, we found Mr. Hampton's body in the deep freezer after the mailman, Chuck, called us this morning to report his suspicion that something was wrong. Normally a frozen body would be good news for us. I mean, not GOOD news, may he rest in peace! Not that I'm not happy to finally have a good case to work on! I love my job and all..." "Get on with it Jefferson." "I just mean I'd think a frozen body would be helpful, since freezing preserves the body and the evidence so well. But unfortunately we just can't seem to find any evidence here. He appears to have been hit in the head with a blunt object, but other than that, there's not much we can tell. We've checked the house for clues, but nothing appears to be out of place. Whoever did this was careful. We've interviewed all the people that seem to have any contact with him, his son Don, his daughter Jessica, and of course, Chuck the mailman." "I know it's been a long day and we'd all like to go home and get some rest, but I feel like we're missing something. I want to talk to everyone one more time," Chief Graham said.
"My dad has more money than anyone in this stupid town! Anyone could have a motive to kill him, surely you don't think I did it!" said Don Hampton with a look of anger and annoyance. "My dad and I got along fine! When I came over for dinner last month he told me he was proud of me for starting my own business just like he did." "Didn't you start your business with a huge loan that he gave you?" "Well, yeah. But that doesn't mean it wasn't hard!" "Did you come over often to see him?" asked detective Jefferson. "Yeah, every couple of weeks or so. Maybe once a month. A couple of times a year. Hey, we'd see each other more often, but you know what a hermit he is. He never leaves the house, so I was the one who had to make all the effort. If you ask me, I deserve a son-of-the-year award!"
"I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S GONE!" wailed Jessica Hampton through one of her fits of tears which only seemed to come while she was being questioned. "HE MEANT SO MUCH TO ME!" "When was the last time you saw your father?" "Well, I haven't seen him in a while. But I just talked to him on the phone last Saturday." "And he didn't mention anything about being murdered soon?" Jefferson asked. Chief Graham sighed. "Great work, Detective." "Thanks chief!" "Um, no. He sounded fine," Jessica continued. "Look, I'm sure you're thinking I had a motive to kill my father, since I'll probably inherit a lot of money now, but I bet Don will inherit the same amount as me! Plus Don owes - or owed - dad a bunch of money that he borrowed to start his business. So he has a bigger motive than me! HE should be your suspect!"
"Wow, the love in this family is amazing. Let's see what the mailman has to say."
"I'm used to his mail piling up in the mailbox, since he doesn't like to leave his house, but every now and then I'll have a package for him. Since he does all his shopping online, he's always eager to get his packages, so when I have one he always answers the door!" Chuck insisted. "I know it's not much to go on, but when he didn't come to the door this morning, I just had a really bad feeling that something was wrong." "Have you noticed anything else lately? Any other suspicious activity?" "No, not that I can think of. Sorry"
The chief sat down with a sigh. "This is just great. We have a reclusive victim who hardly ever makes contact with anyone, no clues, plenty of motives, no witnesses, and a lousy detective." "Sounds tough, chief!" "It is, Jefferson. It is." The chief was just going launch into a new stream of complaints, when a thought occurred to him. He stood up suddenly. "Wait a minute! This may not hold up in court, but I sure know who we should be looking into!" "You shouldn't end your sentences with a preposition, chief." "Jefferson, I will literally kick you in the head." "Sorry chief." "Someone said something very revealing. I have a hunch that I may just be wrapping up this case sooner than I thought!"
Who accidentally alerted Chief Graham to aim the investigation in their direction?
(I will post a hint if no one answers correctly by tomorrow)
The prize will be Acid Teru Teru Bozu
