Well.... that was a great shootout haha... Sucks that Jamie didn't get that!! Really seemed like he was the car to beat... Well.. they got lots of experience for the 500 )

What a wild shootout! Sucks about Jr. getting caught up in a wreck though. Still I think it was better than the 2-car tango.

I only was able to listen to it but it sounded like a wreck fest. Makes you wonder how many cars will finish the 500

Well, because there are no points on the line, the shootout has always been wild. I think the Duel will be a better judge of what we'll see for the 500.

First Daytona 500 that I've completely missed but at least my driver got a top 5 and Edwards got me a top 10 on here. I have to laugh at Montoya though. I've always thought about what if that happened.

That was crazy! I actually stayed up until after 2am when it was finally over haha, then got up and went to class in the morning.. I'm tired.. but it was well worth it.

That wreck with Montoya and the jet dryer was terrifying! I'm just glad everyone was okay. You've got to hand it to the safety crew at Daytona for having a plan to deal with a burning jet dryer and save the end of the race.
