Review: Its a basic real-time strategy game where you send troops to conqueror other enemy castles. It involves a lot of drawing lines to choose where to send your troops from your base castles. Each round is pretty quick and can get frantic. You gain exp and level up a variety of attributes as you go along so you have a feeling of getting better. It is pretty simple, but it does get challenging. Your basic decision is where is best to attack first, and to keep your castles reinforced against attack. Your commander also gets a couple special abilities.
The graphics are cute and decent, and the gameplay is pretty good though the game lacks much depth. There's some strategy, but its pretty basic, and your choices boil down to waiting for your army to grow, or attack. I find some boards I feel like neither works, so I feel like I don't really have other options. I'm not sure that the stats make much of a difference. I spent a good amount of time grinding, but sometimes I feel like a new level just stomps me.
It is a decent length game so you should get several sittings out of it at least even though the rounds are short. Its a fairly fun quick pick-up.
