I've wanted a place to post all my notes and saved files about Jediism for awhile now, but couldn't decide where to post it. I've finally decided to post my files here.

Each post following this one will be copy and pasted from files on my computer. Some are from a now dead website called The Jedi Sanctuary. The Sanctuary fell apart during my time in Oregon, but I saved the teachings before moving. Last year I wanted to find the Sanctuary again, failed, but continued trying. Eventually my attempts led me, continuously, to The Temple of the Jedi Force. The Temple has become my new online home and my place for learning about Jediism. The structure of the Temple is much better designed with the goal of helping new members in mind.

I once rewrote the Jedi Code to see how it would look given my perspective. This is how I saw it.

There is Emotion, but there is Peace.
There is Ignorance, but there is Knowledge.
There is Foolishness, but there is Wisdom
There is Passion, but there is Serenity.
There is Chaos, but there is Harmony.
There is Fear, but there is Courage.
There is no Death; There is the Force.

It is important to know what the other groups in this category believe. Instead of shun beliefs that do not coincide with our own, we should know them, understand them, and decide for ourselves how much of it is true.

This is the code of the Gray Jedi; not Sith, but not following an order or group.

"There is no Dark Side, nor a light side, there is only the Force. I will do what I must to keep the balance as the balance is what keeps me together. There is no good without evil, but evil must not be allowed to flourish. There is passion, yet peace; Serenity, yet emotion; Chaos, yet order. I am the wielder of the flame, the protector of balance. I am the holder of the Torch, lighting the way. I am the keeper of the flame, soldier of balance. I am a Guardian of the Balance. I am a Gray Jedi."

And the following code is the Sith code.

This is the Jedi Creed provided at the Temple.

"I am a Jedi, an instrument of peace.
Where there is hatred I shall bring love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;

I am a Jedi.
I shall never seek so much to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

Focus, Knowledge, Wisdom. These three things are the tenets of Jediism. We must increase our ability to focus, learn what we can to increase our knowledge, and practice wisdom in everything we do.

This is the Crystal Code provided by the Temple.

"The Crystal is the Heart of the Blade.
The Heart is the Crystal of the Jedi.
The Jedi is the Crystal of the Force.
The Force is the Blade of the Heart.
All are intertwined

These are the 16 teachings given in the Temple.

"1. As Jedi, we are in touch with the Living Force flowing through and around us, as well as being spiritually aware of the Force. Jedi are trained to become sensitive to the Force's energy, fluctuations, and disturbances."

"2. Jedi live and focus on the present; we must neither dwell on the past nor be overly concerned about the future. As the mind wanders, focusing on the present is a task not easily attained, for the mind is not content with the eternal present moment. As Jedi, we must release our stress and ease our minds."

"3. Jedi must maintain a clear mind; this is achieved through meditation and contemplation. Our minds can become cluttered and infected by forces and attitudes that we encounter every day, and must be purged of these unnecessary elements on a daily basis."

"4. As Jedi, we are mindful of our thoughts... we focus our thoughts on the positive. The positive energy of the force is healthy for the mind, body and spirit."

"5. As Jedi, we trust and use our feelings. We are intuitive, more so than others and with this heightened intuition we become more spiritually evolved as our minds become more harmonious with the Force and its influences."

"6. Jedi are patient. Patience is elusive but can be consciously developed over time."

"7. Jedi are mindful of the negative emotions which lead to the Dark Side: Anger, Fear, Aggression, and Hate. If we sense these emotions manifesting within ourselves, we must meditate on the Jedi Code and focus on purging these destructive emotions."

"8. Jedi understand that physical training is as important as training the mind and the spirit. We understand that all aspects of training are necessary to maintain the Jedi way of life and to perform the duties of a Jedi."

"9. Jedi protect the peace. We are warriors of peace, and are not ones to use force to resolve a conflict; it is through peace, understanding and harmony that conflicts resolve."

"10. Jedi believe in destiny and trust in the will of the Force. We accept the fact that what seem to be random events are not random at all, but the design of the Force. Each living creature has a purpose, understanding that purpose comes with a deep awareness of the Force. Even things that happen which seem negative have a purpose, though that purpose is not easy to see."

"11. Jedi must let go of obsessive attachment, both material and personal. The obsession over possessions creates the fear of losing those possessions, which can lead to the Dark Side."

"12. Jedi believe in eternal life. We do not become obsessed in mourning those who pass. Grieve as you will but take heart, for the soul and spirit continue in the netherworld of the Living Force."

"13. Jedi use the Force only when it is necessary. We do not apply our abilities or powers to boast or be prideful. We use the Force for knowledge, and exercise wisdom and humility in doing so, for humility is a trait all Jedi must embody."

"14. We as Jedi believe that love and compassion are central to our lives. We must love each other as we love ourselves; by doing this, we envelope all life in the positive energy of the Force."

"15. Jedi are guardians of peace and justice. We believe in finding peaceful solutions to problems, gifted as we are we remain negotiators of the utmost ability. We never negotiate out of fear, but never fear to negotiate. We embrace justice, protecting and preserving the fundamental rights of all living creatures. Empathy and compassion are vital to us; it allows us to comprehend the wounds caused by injustice."

"16. We as Jedi make a commitment to, and are loyal to the Jedi cause. The ideals, philosophies, and practices of the Jedi define the belief of Jediism, and we take action on this path for self improvement, and to help others. We are both the witnesses and protectors of the Jedi way by the practice of our Faith."

These are the 33 teachings given in the Sanctuary.

1. Jedi believe in the Living Force.
Jedi believe in an invisible universal energy called ‘the Force’, also known as the 'Living Force', the 'good side', or the 'light side'. The Force is a living spiritual presence that surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds all the matter in the universe together. The Force is the soul of all living things; it exists everywhere. Jedi believe that Force allows people to have free will and choice, but that destiny also plays a part in their lives.

2. Jedi believe that there is a dark side but refuse to dwell on it.
Jedi believe that the dark side exists, but refuse to dwell on it, or follow it, or use it in any way. The dark side is a negative energy, also known as the ‘negative power’ or ‘dark energy’. The dark side is considered to be evil, negative, the opposite of good, and is never to be followed or used by the Jedi.

3. Jedi serve the Living Force.
Jedi serve the Living Force and never serve the dark side, in any way, shape or form. Jedi are serious about their service to the Force, and are not thrill seekers or adventure seekers. They are serious about following the Jedi teachings in their own lives, because the Jedi teachings lead to personal growth, and help them to be conscious of their connection to the Living Force, which is within.

4. Certain Jedi are stronger with the Force than others.
Jedi, in general, are individuals who are strong with the Force. The Force is with them. However, the Jedi believe that the Force is extra strong in certain Jedi, much more so than in others.

5. Jedi live in the present moment.
Jedi live in the here and now, and don't have stress about the future or the past. This isn't as easy as it might seem because the mind always rushes to the future or past. Contact with the Living Force always occurs in the present moment. The mind is our tool, and we need to stop the incessant thinking and mental chatter that comes from the mind in order to be conscious of the present moment, and to live in the present moment. We need to control the mind, and not let the mind control us.

6. Jedi can feel the Force.
Jedi are Force sensitive people, and are experts at feeling energy. Our senses and our scattered minds can block us from feeling the Force, but it's always there. Jedi are equally sensitive to dark energy or negative energy, and know how to avoid it and to protect themselves from it.

7. Jedi trust their feelings or intuitions.
Jedi are a 'feeling people' and believe in using and trusting their feelings and intuition. Jedi are intuitive and are in touch with the core of their being.

8. Jedi practice meditation to achieve a calm mind.
Meditation is clearly a part of the Jedi lifestyle. Jedi believe that a calm mind can be achieved through meditation and contemplation. Jedi need to meditate often in order to clear their minds. Our minds, like sponges, get contaminated from the world, and need to be cleaned out daily. We even absorb things from those who are around us, and from our environments, the food we eat, etc. so it's important to keep a calm, focused, clear mind and to meditate daily.

9. Jedi practice awareness and are mindful of their thoughts.
Jedi believe in practicing awareness and are mindful of their thoughts. Jedi keep their thoughts positive. A positive mental attitude is healthy for both the mind and body. Not every thought that 'pops' into our head is actually ours, since thoughts can originate from many sources across the Universe, and not just from our physical brain. We have to be able to discern the thoughts and remove the bad ones or negative, fear-based ones. Even the food we eat, and things we drink can influence our thoughts. So, we must always be mindful of our thoughts.

10. Jedi have patience.
Jedi choose to act with patience, and not to react with anger.

11. Jedi protect and defend the helpless.
Jedi try to protect others if possible. Jedi are peaceful warriors. Jedi are also aware that being prepared and trained gives them the advantage if they do have to protect themselves and others. Most Jedi know at least one form of martial arts or self-defense.

12. Jedi avoid acting on dark side emotions like fear, anger, aggression and hate.
We can't control which emotions we will feel, but we can always choose to control our actions. We might feel anger from time to time, but we don't have to act on that feeling of anger or rage.

13. Jedi stay physically fit for many reasons.
Jedi stay physically fit in order to accomplish their mission in life. Fitness is a part of Jedi philosophy, but the level of fitness depends on the individual. Fitness effects your mental health and over-all well being.

14. Lightsaber dueling is the Jedi's sport of choice.
Jedi duel with lightsaber replicas to practice living in the present moment. It’s hard to think about the past or the future if you are dueling with a lightsaber! Lightsaber practice actually has a multitude of benefits. Dueling helps improve a Jedi’s coordination, flexibility, and balance because when dueling with a lightsaber, it becomes an extension of you. It’s a good form of cardiovascular exercise too. The real lightsaber only exists in the Star Wars Universe, but for the Jedi the lightsaber is a powerful symbol that represents alertness, mindfulness, agility, discipline, skill and living in the present
moment.

15. Jedi believe in destiny.
Jedi don't believe in coincidences. Jedi trust in the will of the Force and accept the fact that nothing happens by accident. Jedi believe in destiny, and that there is some method to what happens in the Universe. Things happen when they are meant to happen; there is perfection; nothing happens by accident. There is a 'soul-plan' for every person, but it's hard to understand these things from our level.

16. Jedi believe in 'letting go' of their attachments.
Jedi work on 'letting go' of their attachments and train themselves on this. The fear of loss of one's attachments leads to the dark side, so a 'letting go' and 'trusting in the will of the Force' attitude needs to be developed gradually to overcome this fear of loss. Everything really belongs to the Force anyhow, so we need to trust the Force, and not be so attached to people and possessions.

17. Jedi believe in life after death.
Jedi believe that the soul survives death. Jedi do not obsessively mourn those who pass. There will always be some mourning, and missing of that person, which is only natural. But Jedi avoid the extremes of mourning that can be so debilitating, negative, and destructive. Jedi trust the Force to take care of our departed loved ones and 'let go'.

18. Jedi use the Force for good works.
Jedi have special powers and are encouraged to learn the ways of the Force, and to use the Force, but only for good works like training, defense, knowledge, and helping others who are in need.

19. Jedi have compassion.
Compassion is central to a Jedi's life. We need to have love and compassion for ourselves first and foremost, and then let that compassion gravitate outwards to the whole creation.

20. Jedi believe in peace and justice.
Jedi are the guardians of peace and justice, so we certainly believe in promoting them. Jedi deeply believe in finding peaceful solutions to problems if possible. Jedi are expert negotiators, and try to solve problems without fighting. Jedi embrace justice, which means protecting and preserving the basic rights of others. Empathy is important too, because without it, Jedi can't understand how others feel when they are injured by injustice.

21. Jedi are humble, and believe that they can always work on improving themselves.
Jedi are against being arrogant and consider arrogance to be a flaw. Jedi embrace humility, and do not consider themselves better than others. Jedi don't claim to know it all, and humbly believe in training and in personal growth.

22. Jedi believe in service to others, and are selfless.
The path of the Jedi teaches us the importance of service. There is a lot of joy in serving others, and the Jedi believe in volunteerism and in service. Why? Because that’s the way of the Force; the Force is always giving, giving, giving without expecting anything back in return. The Jedi are like this too. Some of the practical benefits of serving others include diminishing egotistical thinking, removing energy blockages, increasing positive energy flow, and re-connecting us with other human beings.

23. Jedi are devoted to their mission in life.
Jedi are devoted to accomplishing their mission in life. Sometimes this requires great discipline, sacrifice, incredible focus, patience, inner strength, and a strong sense of duty for accomplishing the mission. But first, a Jedi must determine what his/her mission will be by deep soul searching and meditation. You determine and choose what your mission will be; you decide it for yourself. Then you prioritize or decide how important it is for you to accomplish your mission.

24. Jedi are always mindful of the Force.
Our satisfaction comes from our personal connection to the Living Force; material things, fame and wealth don't bring lasting peace, happiness, and satisfaction. Only our daily, and conscious connection to the Living Force brings lasting peace and happiness. If we lose the awareness of our connection to the Force, then we slowly lose our happiness.

25. Jedi work for mutual advantage or Symbiosis.
Jedi try to live in harmony with those around them, and believe in mutual trust and respect.

26. Jedi believe in the law of attraction.
Jedi believe in the law of attraction which is basically this: whatever you ask for, and firmly believe, you will receive. The Force will bring us whatever we continue to think about, even if we are unconscious of it. This makes it extremely important to always be aware and mindful about what we are thinking about, and what we are asking for.

27. Jedi believe in democracy, but usually don’t trust politicians.
Jedi firmly believe in democracy, but don’t trust politicians in general. Jedi are cautious of politicians, and of their many promises in order to get elected or re-elected.

28. Jedi believe that they need to bring balance to the Force within.
Jedi believe that they need to bring balance to the Force within, and not wait around for a Chosen One to do it. If our minds are negative, then the Force flowing through us will seem negative too; our consciousness will seem negative and dark. If our minds are clear and wholesome, then the Force flowing through us will be clear and natural; we will be full of goodness and light. Jedi are responsible for balancing their own minds, so that their minds are clear, good, positive, wholesome, and stay on the light side; this will serve "to bring balance to the Force" within us so that the light side is dominant.

29. Jedi train on Oneness or union with the Living Force.
The highest purpose of life is to train on becoming One with the Living Force. This is considered "Immortality". Religions call it by different names like Enlightenment, Self-Realization, or God-Realization, but it's the same thing.

30. Jedi believe in and are a part of the Jedi Order.
The words 'Jedi Order' gives connotations that the Jedi Path was something like a religion in the Star Wars Universe. The pure and true meaning of the word religion comes from the Latin word “religio” which was derived from the Latin word “re-ligare” or “to reconnect.” The purpose of the Jedi teachings were “to reconnect” a Jedi to the Force. Actually, we are always connected to the Force, but we have lost our conscious awareness of this connection.

31. Jedi can see the future through the Force.
Through the Force, Jedi can see both near term and long-term future events. Future seeing abilities are sometimes a result of meditation.

32. Jedi can feel disturbances in the Force.
If Jedi are mindful and are consciously connected to the Force, they can feel disturbances in the Force. Feeling Force disturbances usually happen after there has been some type of disaster, and/or a loss of life.

33. Jedi have a keen sense of humor.
Jedi are serious people, but they don't take themselves too seriously. Jedi like to make people smile and laugh, especially in bad situations.

Here are ten more teachings provided by an observer.

1: Feel, don't think. Follow your instincts.

2: Do not dwell on the past nor worry about the future, rather you should focus on the present.

3: Everyone can feel the Energy flowing around them. Focus on it, accept it's presence, and try to make realizing it a second nature for yourself.

4: A clear mind is a powerful mind. Rid yourself of anger, frustration, and think with your mind rather then your heart.

5: Patience is a virtue. The more patient you are, the wiser you may become.

6: By saving someone you may save yourself. Consider the guilt you may feel if your lack of compassion caused the death of another, and if you can save the less fortunate then do so.

7: Anger, fear, aggression, hate, all are natural Human emotions, but are also negative feelings that can lead to suffering. Learning to block them out or to deal with them properly will bring many benefits in various ways.

8: Physical fitness can actually lead to better Energy Manipulation. Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, the Martial Arts, jogging, swimming, biking, etc. All are excellent ways to both stay fit and relax.

9: There are no accidents, no mistakes, everything happens for a reason.

10: Learn to let go. Everything must come to an end at some point in time, if it ends before you do it is often better to accept the change then to try to fight it.

These are the vows of the Jedi provided by the Temple.

"The Vow of Respect: A Jedi must possess the deepest respect for all things, living and inanimate. As a servant of life a Jedi must possess the deepest respect for all things, themselves included. Respect enables a Jedi to deal with both life and people in a fair and honest manner, which strengthens the bonds between people and fosters peace and tranquility."

"The Vow of Humility: A Jedi is no better or more important than anyone else. A Jedi must always be mindful of their attitudes and self image that they do not become boastful or prideful in either their abilities or beliefs. Humility enables the Jedi to approach others and life in a receptive manner and allows a Jedi to accomplish their goals unobtrusively. The humble person is easier to accept and far less threatening than the braggart."

"The Vow of Contemplation: A Jedi must possess a clear mind and approach life and situations from an objective perspective. Emotion, while not bad, can influence the perceptions and judgment of a Jedi and care must be taken to insure that the position of the Jedi is unbiased. To this end meditation is a highly recommended practice that can both clear the mind as well as teaching patience. Meditation is a key in the life of the Jedi and it affords the Jedi the opportunity to commune with the Force and leads them to a greater self-understanding."

"The Vow of Possession: Possession is not forbidden to the Jedi and neither is it discouraged. A Jedi must guard against greed and avarice, however. Ownership of things such as a home, clothing, food, and even the luxuries and conveniences of life is encouraged among the Jedi and possession grounds the Jedi in physical reality."

"The Vow of Moderation: Balance is key to the life of the Jedi and moderation in all things contributes to this balance. Too little of a thing can lead to deprivation and covetousness. And yet too much can lead to greed and waste. A Jedi must strive to attain only what they need and desire within the bounds of reason. Too little or too much of a thing can be equally destructive and both leach at the peace and contentment of the Jedi."

"The Vow of Attachment: Attachment is vital to the life of the Jedi. The Jedi must know life and be intrinsically tied to it in order to better serve the will of the Force. Jedi must possess ties to the people around them and are encouraged to love. Love is a strong connection to the basis of humanity and can serve as a strong foundation of strength and encouragement when a Jedi needs them most."

"The Vow of Industry: A Jedi must not be idle. Laziness, procrastination, and indecision are all pathways to the dark side. Not through action but rather inaction, which can be equally destructive. A Jedi is endowed with talents and gifts that are intended for the betterment of the Jedi and the world that surrounds them."

"The Vow of Restraint: A Jedi must learn restraint and must strenuously practice it in all their dealings with others. As conscious conduits of the Fore the Jedi must restrain themselves in their dealings with others. As people Jedi possess passions and opinions and the Jedi must take care not to force these views upon others. A Jedi must realize that their thoughts, feelings, and even intentions leave impressions upon the Force that echo outwards and touch the world and people that surround them. Above all, a Jedi must learn physical restraint. Conflict is a necessary and inevitable aspect of life and yet a Jedi must take care to minimize this conflict. Physical violence must be regarded as only a final and most desperate alternative when all attempts at reason and negotiation have failed."

"The Vow of Defense: A Jedi is sworn to defense: the defense of themselves, of others, and of ideals. A Jedi is not born to suffer or to sit idly by when others are threatened. The mandate of the Jedi is to defend those that cannot defend themselves and to protect the sanctity of life even, if necessary, at the expense of their own."

"The Vow of Chastity: A Jedi must avoid the temptations and destruction of the flesh, which can cloud the mind and pollute the soul. This refers to the random propagation and unchecked desires of the human animal which, when left to its own designs, can erode the purest of hearts and obliterate the most noble of creatures. The bonds of deep affection between man and wife and even simply between man and woman are not discouraged as they are physical ties that reinforce the connections between the Jedi and their loved ones and between the Jedi and their own mortality."

"The Vow of Obedience: A Jedi is to be obedient. Obedient to the laws under which they live, the customs under which they are raised, and to the conscience that directs and steers a Jedi’s thoughts and actions. Furthermore, a Jedi is to obey their instincts and intuitions. For these are a Jedi’s clearest indicators of the will of the Force."

"The Vow of Cleanliness: A Jedi is to be clean in both body and mind. A clean body and the respect for one’s appearance is a clear indicator of one’s mind and the cleanliness of both allows a Jedi to be more receptive to the Force. A cluttered and contaminated vessel does not allow for the smooth transition and flow of its contents and, as such, it must be cleansed. A Jedi can be viewed in the same light... Through the care and maintenance of themselves the Jedi prepare themselves to be conduits for the Force and enable themselves to be directed by its will."

"The Vow of Charity: A Jedi must be giving of themselves. As servants of the Force a Jedi must be willing to give of themselves, their time, and efforts. The Jedi are servants of life and can not contribute to life without effort and dedication. The Jedi are encouraged to help when necessary, to supply when there is need, and hope when there is none."

Knights and Paladins,
A Code of Chivalry.

The Seven Knightly Virtues-

The symbols of chivalry are powerful because of their deep attachment to the most important virtues of man. Courtesy, respect, generosity, honesty, fidelity, humility, justice, excellence(prowess), courage, loyalty, duty. These things are timeless. Attached to the bright symbols of knighthood, they are still transmitted down through the generations, striking a chord of need when times seem dark.

(1) To live one's life so that it is worthy of respect
and honor by all.

(2) Fair Play:
-Never attack an unarmed foe.
-Never charge an unhorsed opponent
-Never attack from behind
-Avoid cheating
-Avoid torture

(3) Nobility:
-Exhibit self discipline
-Show respect to authority
-Obey the law
-Administer justice
-Administer mercy
-Protect the innocent
-Respect women

(4) Valor:
-Exhibit courage in word and deed
-Avenge the wronged
-Defend the weak and innocent
-Fight with honor
-Never abandon a friend, ally, or noble cause

(5) Honor:
-Always keep one's word of honor
-Always maintain one's principles
-Never betray confidence or comrade
-Avoid deception
-Respect life

(6) Courtesy:
-Exhibit manners
-Be polite and attentive
-Respectful of host, authority, honor and woman

(7) Loyalty:
-To God, Sovereign, Country, and the codes of
Chivalry
-Always respect and obey the law unless the law is
wrongful.
-Always be kind and never cruel.
-Give mercy to those that ask for it.
-Always be truthful and never lie.
-Defend the Law of Good and seek to stop injustice.
-Have compassion to the weak, frail, and oppressed,
and seek to help them in any way.
-Be charitable to others and give to those in need.
-Always succor women when they are in distress.
-Love your country, family, religion, and uphold them
in any way.
-Always put the needs of others above the needs of
yourself.
-Live a pure and noble life.

Twenty Common Leadership Traits,
as seen by Jedi Kidohdin:

"SENSE OF HUMOR- Jedi are serious people, but Jedi don't take themselves to seriously. Jedi like to make people smile and laugh, especially in bad situations.

THINKING- Jedi are always thinking about situations, actions, possibilities. Jedi think outside of the box with help from the Force(Universal Life Energy).

COMMUNICATING- Jedi are communicators and negotiators. Jedi bring people together and solve problems. Jedi listen and feel to what others are saying.

RISK TAKING- Jedi take risks when they need to, but Jedi are careful. Jedi analyze the risks before the act and select the best possible solution.

ENDURANCE- Jedi have mental, spiritual, and physical stamina and can endure hardships if they have to. Jedi have incredible abilities when it comes to endurance.

SELF IMPROVEMENT- Jedi are always trying to make themselves better. Jedi exam themselves and correct themselves. Jedi read and study self improvement methods.

OPEN MINDED- Jedi are universal in their thinking. Jedi have open minds when it comes to change too. Jedi are flexible and can make quick changes to plans.

WELL BALANCED- Jedi don't go to extremes in any one area; Jedi balance their lives between social needs, physical needs, family, work, school, fun, career, etc.

JUSTICE- Jedi believe in the fair treatment of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, etc. Jedi defend and protect all basic Human rights of others if need be.

COMMITTED- Jedi are responsible and committed. Jedi are not willy-nilly about their commitments and strive to complete what they set out to accomplish.

CONFIDENT- Jedi act with confidence, move with confidence, and breath with confidence. Jedi possess a confident calmness in their looks, attitude and behavior.

COOPERATIVE- Jedi can work with others and be cooperative to accomplish the mission. Jedi value the comments and opinions of others.

CREATIVE- Jedi are very creative when it comes to problem solving. Jedi will find a way to reach their goals and accomplish their mission no matter what.

CURIOUS- Jedi are curious creatures. They are always asking "Why?" and questioning everything. A thirst for understanding and knowledge is a Jedi trait.

EMPATHIC- Jedi have empathy and compassion for the suffering and well being of others. Jedi are not self centered, they put the welfare of others first.

ENTHUSIASTIC- Jedi have a positive frame of mind and a 'can do' attitude. Jedi look for the positive things in every situation. Jedi are enthusiastic about what they do.

INDEPENDENT- Jedi can work independently. Jedi will keep to themselves and carry on if they are around darksiders or those who lack in basic morals/values.

INTEGRITY- Jedi have strong values, virtues, and believe in sincerity, honesty, honor, and dignity.

RESPECT- Jedi respect all life and the right for people to take their own paths, as long as people don't try to deprive others from their basic rights.

The Force has many names. Source, Universal Life Energy, God, Goddess, all can be summed up as The Force for followers of Jediism. The Force is the Life Energy that flows through, within, and around all living things. It originated long before Humans were around and possibly in a way we wouldn't understand.

It is our goal as Jedi to feel the Force flow through us. When you let the Force flow through you, you will notice many changes. Greater intuition, better health, happiness, a sense of peace. There more in tune you are with the Force the more in tune you are with Nature, your surroundings, and even your fellow Jedi.

The Force is everywhere, literally. It exists on every plane of existence, it can be felt in ever corner of reality, it can be seen within all living things, it is everywhere. Learning to let it flow through you, learning to use it, learning to feel as one with the Force, is our goal as Jedi.
