Father

Hello there, my name is
Aulerick Tiptaker.

I'm a male.

I work in
Ministry of Magic, Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, the Muggle Liaison Office. Didn't do half bad in the interview if I do say so myself.

I'm 34 years old.

The house I was in was Hufflepuff.

At work I seem
quite a bit more open about my ideas and opinions than at home; after all, most of them are ones that mostly only wizards and witches can fully grasp and relate to. I am quite lenient, mistakes happen, but I believe every one should do the best they can without pushing themselves too hard. I like to assume the best of every one, but I've been told more than once that I come off as condescending... how do they figure that I wonder? Muggles deserve to be treated with respect, not herded like cattle.

At home I'm
a good bit less talkative - and perhaps you could even consider me distant in some ways. I get the feeling my wife is always upset with my presence, even more so when I try to spend time with my son, even if I just want to watch him; it's a bit of a tough environment. I've tried to sort it out, but... well... she's more interested in ignoring me for the time being. I've found a lot of solace in going out with friends to pubs and such.

My background story is:
The Tiptaker family is a fairly new wizarding family in the course of wizard history - it sprouted from a pair of muggle-borns during the beginning of the American Industrial Revolution. I'm the oldest of three siblings, I received the Tiptaker blood from my father's side, so now my son carries our name - well, now that we're sure he's a wizard. I was a Hufflepuff at Hogwarts - I admit that at the time I wasn't very pleased with my placement, but as they say, the hat knew best; I've grown to embrace the importance of compassion for the weak. I took particular interest in Muggle Studies not only because my family was born of muggles, but because they are the majority of humans on our planet. I've never quit my study of them since.

I met my wife on one of my first jobs for the Muggle Liason Office as an obliviator - not a job I was all too fond of. The spell left the muggles a bit off in the head it seemed to me... when I came across Kazue, swept off by a unicorn while hiking in the woods, I couldn't bring myself to wipe the memory from her - she seemed so exhilarated by the experience. After I retrieved her with some none-too-shabby wandwork she was absolutely breathless; yes, I admit it was a bit of a knight it shining armor moment. Surprisingly none of my co-workers or superiors noticed, or perhaps they were just turning a blind eye as I continued to mysteriously appear in Kazue's life at opportune moments. ... .... I'm sorry. Those were blissful times indeed... I'm afraid my wife has never been so taken with me since.

I enjoy
sitting down with a good book or a newspaper;
meditating, especially while appreciating some nice scenery;
using magic, but my wife slaps me on the wrist if I try it while she's home;
teas and sweets - another luxury I've had to abandon for married life;
having a good chat with old friends.

I despise
that most people can't use magic and that those who can't are often frightened or enraged by it;
senseless violence;
global issues;
stress.

I look like
light brown hair, sleepy blue eyes and a nearly constant gentle smile. I'm an average build, 6"2'. I usually wear wizard's robes, but my wife finds them silly, so I change into somewhat casual dress wear at home - I don't like to button my shirt up past the top of my chest and I role up the long sleeves - I have a feeling she still disapproves a bit, but to her it's so much of an improvement she'll settle for it.

My wand is an
oak wand made with a puffskein hair core, 12 inches long.

My pet is a
black toad. His name's George; he's been with me since my days at Hogwarts. Though he may not be as elegant as a cat or as 'useful' as an owl, he's quite magically powerful and knowledgeable. Toads are known for their great wisdom, after all. Can I talk to him? No, no, not at all. How do I know he's so clever then? Well, he's always got this knowing twinkle in his eyes, see?

Mother

Hello, my name is
Kazue Tiptaker.

I'm a woman.

I'm 30 years old.

I may seem
cold, at least that's what they say. I'm simply honest. I don't waste time with pleasantries and flatteries - what will they achieve? I clearly state faults so that they can be improved upon.

And I'm really
not that different at home. Why should I be? I strive to raise my son into a successful young man - not just financially and intellectually, as most people think when they hear that. I also mean that emotionally and socially. Though some times at home I allow myself to enjoy the splendor of the human experience and this beautiful universe.

My background story is:
I'm quite fond of my Japanese heritage, but I've been raised exclusively in London and my parents didn't really teach me much about it. My grandmother would when I was younger, but she passed away before I got to secondary school. I have one older sister. I'm not particularly attached to any of my family members any more, and I suppose that's just as well. It certainly would have made matters with my husband problematic. But I continue to visit my grandmother's grave each year on her birthday with my son and I teach him the few things she got to teach me. My school life was normal, I then went to college. I met my husband, shortly after we were married and had a son. That's all I care to expand on that.

I enjoy
fine art - mainly sculptures and watercolors;
nature - I enjoy going for walks in the wilderness;
discipline - nothing is more important than focus, patience and repetition;
efficiency;
honesty.

I despise
laziness;
excessive emotion;
impracticality;
wishful thinking.

I look like
Why do you want to know? ...oh, fine. I am 5"7', I have waist length straight black hair and bangs. I have brown eyes. I weigh 135 pounds. I dress neatly and professionally. I look fittingly serious.

There's something else I would like to tell you...
...I love my son. I... understand that that's expected of a mother, but, I didn't expect it of myself. Don't tell him that, I don't approve of being so uselessly sentimental.

Aunt

●○● Hi, my name is ●○●
Emmilia Tiptaker.

I'm a lady.

●○● I'm currently unemployed, ●○●
but my big brother is giving me room and board for now to take care of my little nephew until I figure out what I want to do.

I'm 19 years old.

The house I was in was Gryffindor, home of the brave and true, baby!

●○● I may seem ●○●
kinda rude and probably 'unprofessional', y'know, kinda punkish - but I've learned not to bite for no reason. I really tone down my aggressiveness when I'm bein' watched by big wigs, not 'cause I want to but because I've got to. If I'm in a situation where I really really need to impress some stiffs I'm likely to kinda bolt my lips shut 'cause I just know if I say anything it'll come out flavored.

●○● But I'm really ●○●
not afraid to cause a little conflict when I think some one's being a dimwitted fool or a jerk. Like when people step in front of you at the store - there ain't no way in high heaven I'd take that sort of baloney! I'll grab that bloke by the shoulder an' give him a piece of my mind. I'm also affectionate in the hit you on the shoulder kind of way - I really enjoy playful wrestling, it's good for you. I'm a real go-getter. I don't waste time warming up to get familiar with people - either I wanna talk to you and I will or I don't and I'll ignore you unless you come to me.

●○● My background story is: ●○●
Life was a little bit weird for me as a kid - my parents were already in their middle age and my two older brothers are 15 and 14 years older than me. As far back as I can remember I was surrounded by adults at home. I guess because of that I always felt like I had no one to relate to and was always being told what to do - that may be why they call me a rebel. I guess. But I don't buy too much into those sorts of head games.

Any way, I went to Hogwarts and was the real assertive type, got myself what I wanted when I wanted it. Did my share of misdeeds and only had to pay for less than half of 'em, hehehe. I suppose I've turned out to be your average Gryffindor - did alright for grades and turned out as the auror type. Not sure if that's really the kind of gig I want to get into though... tell you what though, takin' care of my nephew's been just about the best thing that's ever happened to me, the little tyke's adorable and the perfect age for gettin' up to no good with me. It's great to reclaim my lost childhood.

●○● I enjoy ●○●
playing pranks - not the sorts that really hurt people, at worst I like to spook them or work them up over stupid stuff;
being casual, even a bit derogatory;
when people listen to / understand / agree with me;
being the leader of small groups;
dueling and sports.

●○● I despise ●○●
stubborn old men who are stuck in their ways (or any one stuck in their ways really, but old men are especially frustrating);
any one who thinks they're all that, especially the ones who actually have authority cause you can't win against them - and then they shove you around just to make them feel superior and powerful - aarrrgghhh, I could kill them! ;
gore, yuck;
seriously ugly things;
misogynists;
cover-ups for political shenanigans.

●○● I look like ●○●
blue eyed, exactly six feet tall, I have a blonde bob and I like to dress fairly stylishly with a hint of masculinity. I'm thinking of having my hair color changed to something more... 'me'. Maybe after I move out from my brother's place.

●○● My wand is a ●○●
walnut wand with a dragonheart string core, 9 1/2 inches long.

●○● My pet is a ●○●
big ol' horned owl - got him as a present from an admirer back in Hogwarts, fifth year. The guy named the owl after himself 'so I'd never forget him' - the guy just came off as egotistical to me. Any way, ditched the guy, kept the owl and renamed it - Henrich's his name now. He's neat - likes to hunt and roam a lot, doesn't stick around the house too often unless I call for him.

First (and only) Son

Hi, my name is
Thimeus Tiptaker!

But I mostly go by
Tim or Timmy. Mum calls me Thimeus Troublemaker on occasion.

I'm a boy!

I'm 11 years old.

The school I will be going to is Hogwarts, same as my father.

The house I'm in is undecided.

People say that, in a nutshell, I'm
really talkative. I also get called hyper a fair bit. I'm always looking for something exciting - or making something exciting, but I prefer to watch - so the adults think I'm a handful. Ain't nothing that can hold back my curiosity! ((That not only includes fears but also asking inappropriate questions.)) I don't really like sitting down and thinking for too long, I like jumping into things head first. I also only do stuff I want to do, but I've always got something I want to do! That said, I'm not a jerk or anything. I'll watch for sure but I'd never start a fight. I haven't met any one I've really hated yet either and I never hurt some one on purpose. I'll hear any body out - there's always multiple sides to every story.

My background story is
short. My Dad's an English wizard, my mum's a Japanese muggle - though her family's been 'round London for a couple generations. Mum's a business woman, Dad's a muggle liaison. I'm an only child. Mum wanted me to go to school with other kids so she started to send me to primary school, but then I had to leave - when I'd sit next to the other kids they'd blurt stuff out. Really fun stuff too, like bad secrets they'd been keepin'. It put the teachers on a fritz though, they practically blackmailed my Mum into taking me out they were so spooked. Dad had a proud sparkle in his eye when he caught wind of it. After that they had my Dad's sister, fresh out of Hogwarts, move in to look after me. She taught me a lot of stuff I don't think I was supposed to know - she's brilliant!

I enjoy
Dangerous stuff
Contests
World records!
Stories
Exploring

I despise
Boredom
Wasted time
Being sick
Chores
Small places

I look like
"a good ol' anglo-saxon" accordin' to my Dad. He also says I always look like I'm ready to pounce, if I ain't doin' it already. I've got black hair and wide blue eyes. My mum called me mousy once! I'm 4'1" but I'm expecting a growth spurt right about now. Got a picture here somewhere...

My wand is a
thin (little bigger than pencil width, kinda looks like a pencil too), light, maple (hopefully - request sent) wand; 8 1/4 inches long and made with a jobberknoll core.

I do not have a pet.

And that's it!

(note: Thimeus' profile is exactly the same as the one that got approved by Anbu in the Hogwarts sister guild. Here is the link.)
