The Med-Vac slowed to a stop. L was rushed quickly into the building on a stretcher by Igor for further examination and to repair his body. (Okay Rage...you wanna take over, buddy? I think I just used all of my brain cells.)

Hevana was just finishing washing her hands, when she got the call for the incoming patient. She jogged next to the stretcher propelled by the Igor. "What have we got Igor?" She questioned automatically, whipping out her light and checking the man for shock and trauma. "Sir? can you tell me your name sir?" Her voice was calm and professional as she glanced over his injuries.

"He's obviously not human. I've never seen anything like it." Igor replied.
"My name is....is....L. He's right...I'm not human, not anymore, not after what they did." L said to the woman, again coughing up blood which oozed out his mask. (I got permission from Rage to control Igor for this, but I'd feel quite safer if he did. )

Hevana tried not to look puzzled "L? Okay, Mr. L, I'm Doctor Heller, I'm here to help you can you tell me what happened? Who did this to you?" She reached over to remove his mask, He was losing blood and just now from the looks of things it wasn't good nor all on the outside. "Get him into the Repair room 5. and Prep for to check and mend Internal Bleeding." She instructed curtly "It matters little what you are at the moment Sir. Just that you're in need of medical attention."

L quickly grasped doctor Heller's wrist the moment she had had a motion for the mask. "This mask is the only thing keeping me alive. You will not touch it, do you understand Dr. Heller?" L ordered. "I was kidnapped. They had injected me with some sort of synthetic enhancement. They said it would make me an unstopable soldier for this war. All it did was turn me into a freak. The moment I could, I obliterated those scientists and ran, tackling a Marine out the window. I fell... I'd say a good 5 stories onto the sidewalk."

Hevana left the mask alone. "Very well, then." she replied instantly, guiding the Igor and patient into a healing room. The stretcher was lined up with a medical exam table, "Brace your self Sir." She warned quickly before she and the Igor transferred the mat from the wheeled stretcher to the table. Hevana closed the glass scanner over the table "The scanner will examine the internal injuries you've sustained, try to remain still." Her tone was calm and professional. as she worked the control pad carefully typing in the commands for the scan and repair. Once we know what's wrong I can program the scanner to repair the lesser damage, any greater injuries will have to be repaired more slowly so as to prevent re-injury and further tissue damage.

L stayed still for them. He waited for the machine to finish.

The scanner passed over the injured patient, delicate light banning across the micro lasers that repaired the minor cell and tissue damage. "Might I inquire as to why that mask is so important L?" Hevana was jotting down the relayed information the machine was collecting: shattered foot bones on major break in his right leg, one minor in his left. Neither were open so it would be simple fix those. If his body proved a quick recovery, a shot of Naniods would see him back on those legs shortly. As for his internal injuries, falling 5 stories wasn't something his organs were built for handling the trauma of. Some manual stitches would heal the biggest problem in his stomach, everything else would have to be left to his own recovery and the Nanoids. "Your, going to require a few stitches, the fact that your not dead yet is a good sign. Igor! Bring the surgery kit, we'll get this done here! And a nano-shot, those little buggers are about to earn their keep." ((you didn't specify your injuries so I had to make them up as I went ^^; ))

"There were some......side effects of what they did. The worst, and probably most changing one, being that Oxygen had become highly toxic, yet normally toxic Nitrogen dioxide was what was used in place of oxygen." L said.

The Igor came with the tools and injections as the scanner finished it's repairs of the Man's minor wounds. The glass slid back as Hevana sat next to the gurney pulling out the needle and thread. A small laser knife was used to make the small incision needed to access the internal wound, And she began to manually sew it closed. "Interesting, So your not capable of breathing normally." She worked quickly, "What is your current Faction?" The question was casual and standard, it would determine where he would be brought after the repairs were made.

Hevana nodded acceptance of this, finishing up and sewing the wound closed. She moved to set the bones for his legs wrapping them tightly in place so the injection wouldn't heal his bones at a crooked angle. "Civilian Recovery room then. I'll call in a Captain To get your statement on what happened to you so the Peace keepers can investigate the disturbance and make sure it's cleared up and out." She finished setting the bones and administered the nano-injection. The tiny Medical-droids would start to work, repairing his body at the microscopic level.

"And how am I to get there? I don't want to mess up the repairs." L asked the doctor.

Hevana looked sternly at the man on the gurney "You aren't getting up from that bed, You will be moved Igor, will see to that, you will rest until those Nanoids have finished their work." She shook her finger at him for even thinking of moving in his condition. She waved over Igor and the both of them moved him back onto a fresh stretcher and wheeled him into another set of rooms. Hevana watched him move off into the curtain-hung common room for the recovery of civilians, as she pulled out her cellular communicator and rung up the Captain Hikari.
