The Invasion
Long ago there was a creature that was buried away underground before Soul Society was built. All of a sudden since the recent attack in central 46 and the explosion from the cero cannon's owns destruction awakened the dormant parasite and was free from it's underground prison. For the last few months shinigamis have come up missing so one of espadas who noticed these strange events during his survelliance took up the investigation. One night while they searched around Soul Society they came across a liquid based creature that has been slubering for so long. It attacked the espada and bonded with him taking over his body and mind infecting the espada. A shinigami who also investigated found the espada that was taken over by the creature was petrafied by the situation and carelessly became infected by it. Soon after the infection spread in Soul Society leaving few captain's to deal with the infected shinigami who have became infested creatures that they call the nightwalkers. Each one had reflected their abilites with the infected organisms that has bonded with them aswell as gave them enhanced reiatsu and add it to any of their physical properties for an advantage. Those who had a weak will be the nightwalker's mindless host using there memories to enforce hatred in their host and attack anyone who is not infected. What appeared to be an infection to the remaining Gotei 13 turned out to be an invasion. The espadas thought of this as a way to harness the nightwalkers and overthrow the gotei 13, they sadly mistakened as a small group of espadas entered Soul Society only to be infected by the night walkers and returned to hueco mundo only to infect more. The remaining espadas joined forces with the shinigami to stop this common enemy and together fight to protect both worlds and figure out how to stop the invasion. The signs of those who are infected but haven't turned would have been bitten by a nightwalker and in an hour or so feel dizzy and suddenly puke black fluids that appear be like blood. The final stage is when the body is transformed into a monster like creature covered by the parasite like a second skin that is out for blood and to infect more. But there are few that have been infected but not controled by the creature and use that power against the threat.
Those controled by Nightwalkers
Bio: These 4 Nightwalkers are the dangerous ones compared to there loyal legions. They are able to infect those by contact from them of any kind instead of bites. A captain or lieutenant and a 3rd seat are able to fend off from these targets but anyone with a rank lower than that will have most difficults because of how mouch more power they have compared to a captain's
Wrath
The first nightwalker infecting an espada by the name of Soren with the abilites enhanced reiatsu rivaling a destros and very dangerous. Wrath is also the creature that is ackowledged by the other nightwalkers as the leader. It took over the espada when iher was investigating the ruins after the attack on central 46. by sad Soren)
Poison
Ren 3rd division captain was infected by Wrath/Soren who was the first captain to be infected with enhanced reiatsu by the nightwalker that took over her body becoming a nightwalker called Poison. Because of this she began to spread more of the parasite to other shinigami that got in her way. Played by (Ren Sahara)
Destruction
Another nightwalker bonded with Ozaru Captain of the the 11th division. He was infected by Ren and now has enhanced reiatsu. This one is a very dangerous one because this nightwalker feeds hatred and thoughts of destruction into its shinigami host causing him to be very hostile once met face to face. Played by (Kenpachi, Ozaru Darc)
Madness
bonded by an espada, Garuda, Madness took control over the espadas body by being infected by wrath and with the espada giving them enhanced reiatsu and began the spread of the parasite in hueco mundo while wrath was busy spreading the infection in Soul Society.
Nightwalkers controlled by the Host.
Solitude
During evacuation of the Seiretei Ryoko Minamimoto stayed back to fight off the hord of Nightwalkers from Ren to protect the souls that are evacuated. They all ganged up on him and after fighting off the oncoming hord he eventually got over whelmed and piled up by Ren's monsterous legion. Suddenly when the pile of Nightwalkers were on him biting at his flesh the new Nightwalker that wanted his body not only bonded with ryoko's body but his zanpakuto aswell becoming the new Nightwalker Solitude cutting away at the other nightwalkers. Ryoko somehow managed to stay in control because of the elixir he aquired by the destro back and his strong will then allowing him to use the nightwalker against the invasion. With this enhancement of reiatsu Ryoko/Solitude's are able to retract his zanpakuto from his right arm like a claw. Ryoko's dark shift ability refelcted the parasites own enhancement allowing him to absorb a parasite from a victim completely but the problem was that everytime he absorbs a parasite the stronger his parasite becomes trying to take over. But even though he thinks he is in control when he fights it's when Solitude tries to take over and enforce hatred and anger in Ryoko. Played by: (Ryoko Minamimoto)
Depression
Another nightwalker bonded by Matsuo Tenshi who like Ryoko was able to stay in control of his body and the nightwalker due to him having the elixir and a strong will it had and also full control over the nightwalker giving enhanced reiatsu. This one fights for the espadas to protect their world from the nightwalkers but just like the shinigami he is not as trustworthy towards his arrancar brothers and sisters. Played by (Matsuo tenshi)
