For those of you who know me personally, you will already know this. For those who don't, here is the scoop:
My mother recently noticed a swelling along her neckline. When examined by a doctor, it turned out to be a thyroid tumor, likely (Though we still aren't 100% sure it is) cancerous.
This morning, my Mom had a successful Thyroidectomy. They are biopsying the tumor now. I merely wished to inform you all of this, and to ask for your prayers or good wishes.

That is so sad! Well not the part where they are able to remove it, but the fact that she actually had the tumor. I hope the biopsy goes well!
