Description: One of the first things I attempted. Primative, but I still have a soft spot in my heart for it. Link: [x] Lineartist: Keilyna Shop: The Lyre's Melody - Whitefeather [Closed? Hiatus?] Other Notes: PSP8, soft shading, used as an attempt to guest colour, but she didn't like my shading.
Description: The Pony of the Opera Link: [x] Lineartist: NekoMegami_Chan (not on Gaia) Shop: -- Other Notes: PSP8, soft shading, was my first real attempt to not use colour as a sort of crutch and to colour a rather monotonous picture and not have it look like crap. There's something bugging me about th cape/collar, but I rather like it.
Description: Avatar art of SunFireDemon Link: [x] Lineartist: SunfireDemon Shop: -- Other Notes: PSP8, was a play with the motion blur effect for highlighting.
Description: Avartar art of HarperKing Link: [x] Lineartist: SunFireDemon Shop: -- Other Notes: PSP8, soft shading, was the first real colouring of a human I've ever done. The cheeks are glowing, literally, in a way that I'm not too fond of. But I do like the shading bits and pieces other places.
Description: Coloured for "hiring" contest. Link: [x] [x] Lineartist: (unknown, looking) Shop: FallenStar Dragons - Helmel Other Notes: PSP8, soft shading. Was hired (but had to turn down the job due to RL issues that came up.) I like the speckling on the blue one, though have yet to use that sort of thing elsewhere.
Description: Two coloured for a christmas event Link: [x] [x] Lineartist: WinterFalcon Shop: The SunChildren - NyaoChan Other Notes: PSP9, soft shading. I prefer the purple one, and love how the colours ended up working together.
Description: Two coloured for a hiring contest Link: [x] [x] Lineartist: (unknown, looking up) Shop: Cupcake Kitties - Cupcake Kitty (Momma Snoopy) Other Notes: PSPX, soft shading, attempt at veering away from black outlines and using the colours to do so. (still waiting to hear if I snagged it or not.)
Description: Originally used in a colouring contest, but had the oppertunity to convert into a real pet and did so. Link: [x] Lineartist: Silverpelt (edits by self) Shop: East of Eden Other Notes: PSP9, soft shading, first attempt at honest lineart edits.
Description: Avatar art to be used for quest fund-raising - RazorBladeButterfly Link: [x] Lineartist: Andanielle (Me! ^.^) Shop: -- Other Notes: PSP9, soft shading, drawn in pencil on a post it note, took picture with webcam, enlarged and inked with vectors. I know it's not perfect (as the fact that you can see the shirt bugs me, but I wasn't sure how to fix it without having to reink the whole thing.)
Description: Avatar art for MisterMuffinMan's birthday Link: [x] Lineartist: Andanielle (Me! ^.^) Shop: -- Other Notes: PSP9, soft shading, drawn in pencil on a post it note, took picture with webcam, enlarged and inked with vectors. I like this one for all it's simplicity. AND her ears are pretty much even! xd
Description: Avatar art for FMD, as a thank you Link: [x] Lineartist: Andanielle (Me! ^.^) Shop: -- Other Notes: PSP9, soft shading, drawn in pencil on a post it note, took picture with webcam, enlarged and inked with vectors.
Description: CMF Midnight Valley Colouring Contest entry Link: [x] Lineartist: SilverPelt, edited by Manda Shop: Nightmare Valley Other Notes: PSP9, soft shading, about 90 layers used. whee Originally it was purple, but decided there were too many purple entries. Turned it blue. With orange. biggrin ...It's so hard to find a decent orange. XD

Oooh, a new one. biggrin All the details will be added to my S&E post, so head there if you wanna know all the little details.

This was made for a friend who IM'd me one day asking how much I loved her... xd Needless to say, this was the end result. This is ChaoticShardsofSanity's character/mule, RazorBladeButterfly to use on her quest for an Emo Bag. I think it's decent enough for my first avatar art done all by me from start to finish (minus the concept, of course. xd )

Oooh, Shiny! ^.^ Shiny is always good. heart *needs more shiny/sparkly brushes* And if we didn't experiment, how would we learn new things? ^.^
*tosses a new one up there*
This is of my girlfriend's avatar for her birthday in a week or so. More will be done to it, but for the most part it's completely done as far as this is concerned.

Ooooh, that sounds fun! The teaching bit. ^.^ Just remember not to kill anyone. Death - it's a messy business. What grade level(s)? *ish simultaniously browsing Dark's portfolio and having a clicking field day*
