I am Controlled by The Resting Wolf
My name is Kelan Hedley
My age is 16 ... 354
I am a male If you cannot tell
I was born a Vampire
My mood's range from sociable to loner like.
Once upon a time I was changed into a vampire by my best friend Erick, he was saving my life, but for a long time I was still angry at him. Although I can be very territorial we get along quite well now. My parents never really wanted anything to do with me anyway, so my life has pretty much been built by myself anyway. I am back in highschool because I was changed before I finished it now i have a place to return to.
My abilities are controlling fire, flight, and healing.
When you look at me you see -->
Another thing is I can be quite the loner, and on nights I feel bad I can get quite irate to put it calmly.

*********************************
Kelan still could not believe he was doing this. Here he was at a high school looking for his dorm room with his bags. It was going to be so much fun, in a strange kind of way. He wondered how old the other vampires here would be? Carting his bags easily along with him Kelan set off in search for the dorm hall. As he was searching he ran into another vamp. She too was carrying bags, so he assumed she was searching for the dorms as well. Sticking his head down a hall he spotted numbers on the doors. "Alright." He muttered to himself before turning and catching up the gril a little further up the hall, "Excuse me Miss, are you looking for the dorms?" Might as well start getting acquainted with his classmates now.
*********************************
Kelan smiled, he was feeling rather sociable right now, hopeful it would stay that way for a while. "I'm Kelan, and the dorm's are back this way." Kelan nodded over his shoulder, "Would you like help carrying your bags."Kelan shifted his own over to one hand and held out his other for hers if she so pleased.
*********************************
So Kelan was being very boyish, but why not? This was high school after all. It had been so long since he had communed with other vampires. Now he just had to remember to fight his territorial instincts. Taking her bags in his free hand he ignored her embarassment, no point in heightening it by mentioning the matter, and nodded towards the dorm hall. "What number are you in?" Looking at her he noticed she was really quite beautiful, the long, blue-gray hair was different, but he liked it. Realizing he was staring, quite rudely, he brought his head back up to check the numbers on the dorms.
*********************************
"Not too far from me, I'm in six." The girls dorms were on one side and the boys on the other of the long hallway. He wondered if he had any roommates. That was one part he was not looking forward too. Reaching hers, he would double back to his in a moment, he nodded towards the handle. "I'd open it, but uh," he gestured to the bags in both hands, "and it's probably locked. Did you get your key?" Kelan had gotten one with his schedule in the mail a few weeks before he arrived, so she should have one too, right?
*********************************
Kelan smiled warmly as she glanced at him then waited as she dug her key out. Peeking in when she swung open the door he noticed that the, at least the girl's, dorms were certainly nice enough. Relatively big, then again an all vampire school would know about the need for personal space. "After you, Miss." Way too formal for high school, he would have to work on that. Setting his own bags outside the door for now he waited on her to enter.
*********************************
Setting her bags on her bed Kelan nodded in agreement, "Suprised me as well." Turning around he Kelan watched her place a jewelry box gently on her desk, must be something special of hers. Holding up a locket he caught her off guard with her question for assistance. "Absolutely." Moving from the spot where he was still standing, by her bed, he took the locket from her gently and stepped behidn her, "Will you hold your hair up please?"
*********************************
Without thinking Kelan responded, "Your hair is pretty, you shouldn't cut it." Too late to change it now, he hoped it would not make her mad. It was his opinion, but still, she probably heard it a lot. Clasping the necklace smoothly he stepped away, "Useful piece then, just as much so as it is pretty." Now that he was looking at it, he really could see how such long hair could be in the way, "On second thought, if you would like it cut, it does look like it's could get in the way from time to time." Coming around in front of her he checked how the necklace looked, it was slightly crooked, so he reached out and adjusted it, "There, perfect." A soft smile still in place, he asked, "Need anything else?" Kelan was not too sure that he was even, technically allowed in here, but he really did not care.
*********************************
Kelan was surprised, "You're welcome and thank you," he recovered himself. It had been sometime since he socialized with others, and it was quite obvious. She blushed so easily, it was rather cute really. Hopefully he would get to know her better throughout their time at the school here. "Care to join, as I dump stuff in my room? Then maybe we can take a stroll around this place. See if we can become a bit more familiar with the layout before school actually starts?" His glance flickered briefly towards the door as another male vamp passed by, but he did not stop to say hello, he seemed rather occupied with finding his dorm room.
*********************************
Kelan followed her out and remembered last minute to lean back and pull her door closed, he heard it click. Digging in his own pockets he produced his key ring and found the one to his dorm door before grabbing his bags off the floor and crossing the hall. Kelan was still mentally floating that she had accepted his request for a walk, when he realized his feet weren't touching the ground. "Oops." The thing about being able to fly, he really should pay more attention. Smiling he unlocked his door and claimed the bed furthest to the right by tossing his stuff on it. Taking one more glance around the room he stepped back out and locked it behind him. Now that he had free hands he offered his arm to the girl, "Shall we?"
*********************************
Kelan met her gaze as he pondered her question. It was not like he was majorly familiar with the place and knew how to show her around or anything. So ... "I guess we go get lost and try to figure out where we are?" He chuckled at the thought of them wondering around, the place did seem quite big. Might as well get used to it now. He pulled his gaze up to watch the vampire from earlier walk past, staring at the floor and Kelan resisted the urge to pull Calista closer, instead he waved at the other man, "Hello." He would probably get to know him better later, considering he only saw 10 dorms for each boys and girls, the place would obviously only take so many students at once. "Pick a direction," Kelan said looking back to Calista, "Right or left?" Considering the place looked like it sprawled in both directions their would plenty to explore on either side.
*********************************
Kelan was watching the quiet vamp walk away when he felt Calista's gaze on him. However before he could look at her she had reached up and kissed his cheek. Grinning, probably like a fool, he chuckled as she grabbed his hand and took off down the hallway. You would think that 350 years of life would dampen that feeling by now, he was rather glad it did not. Catching up so that he was walking beside her instead of virtually being dragged behind her he glanced around. So far there was nothing more than wall, but up ahead he saw the outline of a sign. In a playful mood now he pointed it out ahead, "Come on!" This time he was the one who darted forward.
*********************************
They reached the small retangular piece of metal quickly enough. On it was an arrow pointing down another hallway next to it, and it read "Library." Seriously major points were highlighted with signs? Kelan stared at the piece of metal strangely. He would never understand humans. Did they not know that such signs could give away valuable information. Then again, maybe he just needed to catch up with the times. Looking down at Calista he asked, "What do you think? Shall we take a look?"
*********************************
Kelan's gaze shifted to where she was pointing, woodlands and his eyes lit up. Alright. Outdoors! Grinning he dropped her hand, "Deal. Race ya." She said she wanted to run and with that he took off.
*********************************
It took the woman a moment, but she did catch up to him and he glanced at her, laughing as he ran. Enjoying the fresh air and he had just pulled a little ahead again when her scream pierced the air around him. Before he had realized it he had turned around he was at her side. Cradling her in his arms gently he wondered what exactly happened. "Calista? I can make the pain go away, heal it, but I'd like your permission?" She was plenty conscious so he wanted to ask, he always felt strange using his powers on someone without their desire for it. He only did so when he had too. She had slammed awfully hard into the tree they were under and impact like that sure hurt. Glancing around he wondered what could have caused her balance loss, but he could figure that out in a moment. He turned his gaze back to the vampire in his arms, waiting for her response.
*********************************
"Shh." Kelan whispered softly before hugging her to himself. He really did not need to have this much contact, all he needed was to simply be able to touch her, but it was to comfort her. Kelan closed his eyes and felt her grow warmer in his arms as he pushed his own energies into her to mend her wounds. Healing always took a lot out of him, but it was always worth the weakness that followed. When he felt the torn muscle right itself in her leg and the injury on her head mend, he relaxed. Loosening his grip he stared down at her with slightly glazed eyes and wiped the tears from her face. He needed blood soon, but he would make it alright for now. "Better?" He whispered.
*********************************
Kelan returned her kiss with a gentle one of his own. "You are more than welcome." Tensing once more he stood and lowered the beautiful Calista to her feet before placing his hand on the tree for support. Hopefully he simply looked like he was casually leaning against it. His vision had cleared, but he knew that he needed blood to be able to do much more. Smiling softly he gazed around him and wondered where the others were, but he really did not care. Taking Calista's hand once more he smiled contentedly at her, "Where too now?" He was not sure how much adventure she would be up to after that mess.
*********************************
Kelan let her pull him back to the dorms. He was going to say something about going to his for a minute, he had blood there, but she directed him into hers and he sat down on the edge of her bed. Watching her dig through a bag he wondered what she had when she was looking for when she pulled packets of blood out. Straightening up he watched her intently and grabbed for the bag she threw his way, catching it he downed half of it. "Thank you." Finishing the rest of it at a more reasonable pace he stood from her bed and shook his head to clear it. "Much better," he said with the boyish grin he had earlier.
*********************************
Kelan tossed the empty packet in the wastebasket in the room before sitting next to her. "Didn't get very lost did we?" He said with a chuckle.
*********************************
Kelan stood and pulled her close to him when she wrapped her arms around him. Then cocking his head slightly he screwed up his face as if he had to think about the question. "Well..." he drifted teasingly, "there was you running into the tree." His laughter faded as he thought of how he had felt though and he dropped his head back to looking at her, "Y-you scared me," he whispered.
*********************************
Pulling her close would have been a mistake if he had not just had blood. Her aroma was powerfully enticing and even though freshly fed he could feel his fangs sharpen just a hair. He was not too sure what to say to her so he said what he honestly meant, "Mine too." With that he kissed her softly then had the strangest thought flash across his mind as he pulled back. Laughing he gazed at her, "We have just skipped an entire day of class!" This made him strangely gleeful, "the first day at that!" Kelan had to rein his chuckles in and it did not take long when he looked back at her, "It was worth it."
*********************************
Kelan grinned, "Want to find more trouble to get into?" So Kelan was a bit hyped up and he also needed to step back a little before he bit her. At the same time he didn't want to let her go either.
*********************************
Naturally Kelan swelled with pride at her statement, "Fair enough." Looking around her room he pondered what they could do. "Any ideas?" Nothing all that adventurous really came to mind it was a school after all.
