All I really know about the marker that's appeared in Dead Space is that it's a man-made version of the real one.

Too dangerous. We all know what happened with the Red marker, so unless there's an invasion on Earth, I think it's unlikely.

I dont think that its destroy because i found something interesting in the reveal trailer... (Black marker)  (Issac at end... look at the thing on HIS right [the left of picture]... What does that look like to you?)
