Just wonder what your opinions are as to why people hate others? Why do people feel that they have to destroy others? What do you think?

I believe that people are to stubborn to forget the past, and fogive and forget. We as humans make many grave mistakes without realizing what the effects may be. Everyone should be able to have a more open mind about people's opinions instead of taking people's critisism offensively. Look to humanity as a whole instead of being bias over certain groups, races, etc.
::sigh:: I finished my exam on Huck Finn today, so I'm in the mood.

i think it's everything i mean some people really are just stuped but then others are broght up to be that way and than still others may have just been hurt in there lives so much that they don't feel anything besides hate for the type of pearsone that did that too them. so for expample if you were an orphane and lived with your sister in an orphanige and than when your sister snuck out she was mugged and killed by a black male (this is just and example plz nobody take offence i picked black male randomly withought thinking) than mabey for no logicle reasone at all that persone will hate blacks forever. that's just my opinion though you guys should all tell yours.

Well it's human instincts and nature that stimulate hate and mistrust. Mainly fear I believe because it leads to the other problems. People will naturally and always fear what they don't fully understand. This fear of the unknown will be left as just raw fear and terror in some while in others it can make you respect them out of fear while yet still in others you begin to instantly not trust what you fear. This mistrust can lead to wrongful assumptions and if spread to others the ones that are impressionable will follow this fear of the first party. Now this overall mistrust will lead people to think they hate this unknown group. And the story goes quickly from there. Hate leads to thoughts of elimination and then in strong cases actions. What I have said can relate to most any scenario if you apply it correctly. Hate is completely naturally and it will never be stopped...not while people are born as they are.

Hate is unfortunately a common thing. I belive hate comes from confusion and fear. I'll take homophobia for instance. My aunt is a lesbian and got married nearly a year ago. She is so very happy with her partner and i'm happy for her. But I live in a very small town so not many people have experienced homosexuality be it in themselves or one of thier friends or family. So lots of kids are huge homophobs and say that 'It's wrong and disgusting'. And ofcourse only a handful know a homosexual but they all shun them.
But there are other factors in hate, and it probably is all they you stated.

There are two routes to why there is intolerance, and thus hatred in the world. The first is there is a minority of humans that are just naturally nasty people, simple as although these people are about 1 in a million and it is probably a mental illness!
The other route, sounds a bit like what yoda would say! lol, It starts with ignorance, this is caused by the lack of education, and experience of 'different' people' (no peoples are that different) as I said this caused ignorance, and biggitory. And since we fear what we do not know, this fear then leads to the hatred that you can see all around us, fortunately, education IS the key, and there is cases of the most extreme fascist etc... after spending time with the people they hate, becoming open minded.
An example is a group in the U.K called combat 18 the youth pro-active wing of the neo nazi groups, BNP and NF. a member of this group after 'education' now leads the campaign against rascism, Ignorance and hatred. He has had to leave the U.K many times for fear of his life, but knows his cause is right.

people hate our opinions because in essence they see our different opinions as a threat to their own. its all out of ignorance. they dont know better and our "radical" thoughts go against everything they've ever know. so they shun it.
