I have always been a huge fan of the Giant Robot genre. And a big fans of Animals. What do you get when you combine the two? Well, Zoids of course. Now I have recently made a lit Zoids RP and am wondering if there are any fans in this guild that might be interested in joining. The premise is very simple. I'm combining the a frontier setting with the Zoids setting, along with a post-apocalypse theme. As well as encouraging fan-created Zoids and characters Zoids Alternate Age

I liked the first season and the second one but the Zoid Fusions was a bit too much. Is there any way that I can use this I usually tend to lean towards Medusa

There was also a fourth series called Zoids: Genesis where they really ramped up the CGI. It was alot more like the first season and Chaotic Century.
Though I don't know if that would fly as a Zoid, Bern. They are never really human shaped. They are always animal-shaped
We have a link on the thread to a list of all Zoids if you would like to modify one to fit an idea you'd like to go for or just use that Zoid stock.

Hmm I figured but I wanted to give it a try.
I've been to the Zoid wiki and I'm surprised that they don't have certain types. Okay gotta find a good way to create a serpent type or an ape type.
And you need to provide a character profile skeleton.

I was trying to avoid a profile skeleton, honestly. But I suppose it's inevitable that we need one. sweatdrop I'll churn one out and post one up.

Not always, I've done alot of RPs with just an stricter set of rules and said that "Any character goes" in the pure Freeform form. They actually work out quite well, because then anyone can just come, post, and go from there.
But I did post a profile skeleton. XD

Oh I didn't mean for the Zoid itself but the character, you know like something basic. I find them helpful especially when a RP gets crowded and it's difficult to keep track of who is who. And it helps with some GM preventions. I know someone who would constantly go back and change his bio every time a new episode of Naruto would come out.
Sadly I really can't do those types of profiles. My mind gets stuck on ifit's heavy enough or accurate enough. I am slightly a**l about it.

Actually, heh, it's mostly just personal experience talking there. In my experience, it really doesn't matter what's on your sheet, because having a decked out profile does not make a compelling character.
Anyone can staple some kick-a** abilities, work out a good resume of applicable skills, post up a sexy appearance description and call it an awesome character. And probably, from the sheet, it is. But it takes more than that to be a compelling story or make people want to play with you.
It be better, in my opinion, to just post down and show people want you can do as a player, and what makes your character different from everyone else in the thread, rather than write a profile, submit it, wait a 2 days to a week and lose your enthusiasm for the thread. Just to come back and post what you could've a back in the beginning.
But all that's irrelevant now, or at least the last few times I've tried to submit a profile for a character to a public thread...Try to do something unique and compelling these days in the wrong forum and you'll get flamed by the people who just want pretty vampires and high school dramas.*

I can simply give you a name, age, look description and Zoid description, all of the technical things I can't do, I'm a fan but not that hardcore.
I mean when the last four episodes of The Chaotic Century was played I had to go out so I recorded it (VCR) and left a note for no one to touch the TV until it was over. My mom's boyfriend at the time came home and didn't even see the note. When I finally got home excited to see it he had changed the channel right in the middle of the 3rd on. You could hear me screaming from down the street. And you know how long it was before they showed a repeat of that right?

I want the ugly vampires back. The ones that gave you a reason to be scared other than, "Oh my GAWD hotness might kill me if I let 'em suck my blood."
But a half-orc wizard? That's nice.
Now I want to change my bio again. It would make more since for The MK to excel in close combat, be fair in long range and poor in mid and wide open spaces.
A word of advice, never submit things when your mind is fuzzy for sleep. You don't think clearly at all.
As for the ending...eh it was okay. Got a little confusing, I figure all of the cutting they do for TV left a few parts out but still.
