Ok so after some discussion on the Megathread, we've decided to create a Supernatural version of the twelve days of christmas 3nodding
We've come up with so far:
On the twelve days of christmas Kripke gave to me:
12 more episodes
11 cries of idgit
10 chick flick moments
9 bags of rock salt
8 ladies screaming
7 silver bullets
6 growling hell hounds
5 ghostfacers!!
4 evil horsemen
3 rebelling angels
2 sexy brothers
and the end of the world.
We're asking for everyone's help if they can because, like we did with the "I tortured Souls' project, we'd like to have the members sing if it is possible. It doesn't matter if you can't sing well, as long as you try your best because we're gonna try and form a chorus 3nodding
All you need to do if tell us if you're interested, and record yourself singing this version of the song.
LINK TO KAROKE HERE!!
Try not to have the actual instrumental in the recording, you can just sing along to it so we're all in synch with it (this is key, because otherwise we'll all be very off and editing us together won't work!!!)
I'd like the instrumental really not in everyone's recording or else when we layer it it will sound kinda funky, so try and just make it your voice as much as possible please!!!
Once you've recorded, post it up to a file sharing site or youtube, and I'll take it from there, editing us together with the intrumental and making a video.
Hopefully it will all work out and we'll come up with a totall kick-a$$ Christmas chorus, Supernatural style!!
Thank you 4laugh 4laugh
Here's the full written lyrics Angel was awesome enough to type up, check them out to make singing this easier lol: LINK
SCHEDULE SO FAR:
12/10, Thursday, Complete instrumental
12/15 DEADLINE for vocal recordings!!!!!

OK EVERYONE LISTEN UP!
Just so we are all on the same page, this is what we're now doing:
~Once i got Kraven's instrumental, will make a Karoke to accompany it. We're using the youtube karoke now (link up top)
~THEN we will choose someone to go first (I elect Angel lol, if that's ok) and she will sing the version first over that instrumental audio track preferably using This
Why? Because this editor allows you to mix in your voice with an existing audio clip. See? No editing, nothing, it'll just go right in flawlessly.
~ Angel will finish her recording, upload it to the file sharing site and the next person will go (whoever wants to do it next, I would but more than likely the rent's will be home friday/saturday/sunday)
~ The next person to go will download Angels audio file to their pc.
~ Everyone will then have to download audacity (the same thing I posted to above) so that they too can sing INTO the audio when they recieve it. This way we all know we'll be in synch with one another and it will be flawless. Get the idea?? biggrin
~ When you record please remember as I stated above try NOT TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL RECORDING IN YOUR RECORDING. That means, record wearing headphones preferably. If you don't more than likely the audio will sound really weird and fuzzy from having the original audio playing over the audio (think of recording the radio with a tape recorder... it's not the best quality ><)
~ Once everyone is done recording, send the audio to me and I'll record my section and make it all into a epic video.
Sound good?
Hopefully no one will have any issues sweatdrop
Good luck!
