"Remind me again what we're doing?"
For now, Derek was more or less carting around his new partners around the Shibusen campus. He hadn't really explained much of what he was looking for, at least not earlier. Stopping where he was, in the middle of one of the hallways, he glanced behind at the twins.
"Oh! I guess I forgot to tell you guys exactly. I'm looking for these two I met before I ran into you. They're pretty cool, and they're twin WEAPONS too! Rainer said to come look for them once I found a partner so that's what I plan to do."
Smiling, Aryana laughed lightly at this. Well it was good to know why they were being dragged around from place to place. While she hadn't spoken up earlier like her brother, she was just as curious as to what was up. During their time at Shibusen, they had seen a couple other twins around, but they never really had much of a chance to meet up with any of them. For her, this would or should be a nice experience in the least. If they were lucky, maybe the Technician will be around as well.
"Oooh ok, well that's good to hear. What do they look like? If we knew we could try helping you find them."
Derek thought about it momentarily, recalling the twins' appearances.
"Well... they both have blonde hair in the same style. And they're the same height. They look a lot alike really. But one of them has light blue eyes; kinda like your one.. er... two between the two of you... well your blue eyes..."
Andre. Twitched.
He was about to call Derek out on it, but his sister sensed danger and quickly placed a hand on her brother's shoulder to reassure him it was a harmless comment.
"...And the other has darker blue eyes."

It had been a few weeks since Kang Ling had paired up with the Moreau twins. By now she had gotten fairly used to their quirks and habits, especially the ones that made them selves known at the house they all shared together. Although the twins easily made a mess of the home, the seventeen-year-old always easily cleaned it up, having been used to such antics when caring for younger siblings back in her California abode. Despite the fact that each of their personalities meshed together looked like it made for an unusual group, everything was actually pretty placated. There were no sour relationships between any of them and Kang Ling was grateful for that.
Now comfortable with both (although a far cry from ceasing her stuttering habit) of them, she admired and cared Rainer and Caine. Like an elder brother to her in their own unique ways, Kang Ling appreciated the fact that they let her into their small family circle, for she knew that they viewed her as a younger sister. She was delighted to know this.
At the current moment, the trio was hanging out with each other after classes. They wandered through the halls, the TECHNICIAN flocked by a Rainer (who carried Caine on his back like usual) on her right. Craning her neck to constantly look up at the twins, she gently smiled as she softly conversed with them both, although it was mainly Rainer while Caine soundly slept, occasionally murmuring utter babble to himself.
“—did you see the look on that guy’s face? It was so—” said Rainer and stopped in mid-speech, sky blue eyes spotting a familiar person in the wave of students.
Kang Ling curiously stared up at him. “S-Something w-wrong?” she inquired and then the boy grinned, recognizing the figure. A look in his eyes, he motioned his head for her to follow him and he silently approached the other trio.
“HEY DEREK MAH BUDDY HOW’RE YOU DOIN’?!” he excitedly hollered in the other TECHICIAN’s ear, surprising the Chinese and caused her to take a befuddled step back.

"You mean like those two over there?"
Derek quickly turned out to see who Andre had mentioned, and sure enough he saw Rainer and Caine. Though, it looked like the latter was out cold. Did he get into a fight? It also looked like they were with another person, but for the time being he didn't think about any of that. His hazel eyes lit up with excitement as well, as he waved at the other boys.
"RAINER!! CAINE!!! THERE YOU ARE. BEEN LOOKIN' FOR YA!!!"
"Will you two stop shouting like a buncha idiots and just meet up?" growled the male weapon, who had jumped some from the sudden yelling. The shouts had also startled Aryana, who just shook her head in amusement. And judging from the reactions of a few random students in the hallway, the twins and the other technician weren't the only ones to be surprised.
With a grin, the Technician nodded at his weapon and quickly made his way over to the other three. The twins followed so it didn't take long before the two groups were within 'no need to shout distance' from one another.
"Oh man, guess what? I have weapons now! And they're twins too!" he said with a laugh, "How've you been dude? And who's this? Is she your technician? And what's wrong with Caine? He didn't take a punch to the head or something did he?"

Rainer grinned as his shout was met with another. It was rare that his excitement was replied with equal excitement. Fortunately or unfortunately, this made him even more overjoyed to reunite with the male TECHNICIAN. Had Caine been awake and therefore carrying him unneeded, he would have attacked Derek with a hug from behind or perhaps jump around and frantically shake the poor boy’s shoulders. Well, if Caine had been awake, but he wasn’t. He was sleeping, which meant the older twin had to settle for fidgeting and shifting his weight from one foot to another. This was one of the few times he wished that Caine could stop his habit of sleeping so much. Or maybe he could get Kang Ling to get him to stop his habit of carrying his twin around, but he decided against that. He just loved his brother too much. Too much.
The nameless male with Derek hissed at them to cease their yelling and Rainer sheepishly smiled. “Sorry ‘bout that,” he apologized with a small bow. At his news of being partnered up, and with twins no less, Rainer’s smile was a mile wide and possibly longer. “Dude, that’s so awesome! So these are your partners?” His head nodded towards the male and female with heterochromatic eyes.
He shook his head at his question as Caine reluctantly stirred from his nap. “I was sleeping, you dimwit. Does it look like someone punched me?” the blonde sourly replied and stared at him through narrowed eyes.
Eventually, Kang Ling timidly bowed. “H-Hello . . .”
“Oh! Yeah. This is my TECHNICIAN, Kang Ling!”

Grinning wildly, Derek nodded while glancing back at his weapons before looking towards Rainer and Caine once again. Before answering Rainer, he thought about Caine's question, either ignoring or not picking up on the sleepy boy's irritation.
"Well you could have taken the hit from behind. I wouldn't be able to see a bruise on the back of your head after all. I guess something like that would be better with a weapon of sort... like a crowbar or bat... or vase..."
Andre facepalmed. And Aryana shook her head.
Now turning his attention towards Kang Ling, the technician beamed and stuck his hand out to shake hers. It didn't quite come to mind that his forwardness may scare her... with the poor girl being as shy as she was.
"Yo! Nice to meet you Kang Ling! Oh, these two are Andre and Aryana Ng," he started before whispering, "Try not to mention their eye colors much... I think Andre is touchy about it... I think it's kinda cool really though."
"I heard that," grumbled the other boy.
Laughing at this small scene, Aryana returned the bow and smiled at their three new acquaintances. Derek and the one twin seemed like they would get along just fine. She wasn't so sure how Andre would regard the other twins though. But, judging how Kang Ling was here, she guessed that she may be amongst the timid. Because of that, she hoped that her brother wouldn't be too critical of her.
"A pleasure to meet you all. "

Caine sighed and contemptuously flicked his gaze away from the clueless boy. His question wasn’t actually meant to be taken seriously, although it seemed that Derek had. Well, not like it was supposed to be some personal attack direct toward him. He highly doubted that the TECHNICIAN was the type to do so, being so similar to Rainer in various ways. There was no way that he was playing some clever act. He just acted too idiotic.
Without a doubt, Derek and Rainer would become good friends regardless of whatever happened next. Not even a meteor crashing through the roof would stop it (although the chances of that happening was highly unlikely).
He buried his head in Rainer’s shirt and closed his eyes. “Forget it, you knucklehead,” he mumbled.
His twin’s words muttered in his ear, Rainer just quickly glanced at his sibling and grinned. “Case and point. Caine is not injured! Just a sleepyhead~”
Derek pushed is hand forward and Kang Ling meekly grasped his hand with hers, her grip gentle and loose, ready to let go any second. “N-Nice t-to me-meet you t-too . . .” she whispered and leaned forward to catch his words more clearly. Shifting her head to the side she curiously glanced at his WEAPONs. “Th-Their h-he-het-terochrom-ma-matic e-eyes? O-Okay . . .” Kang Ling replied back in an equally-soft voice.
Hurriedly nodding her head at Aryana, she quietly mimicked the statement. “D-Di-Did w-we i-int-terupt y-you?”

"Haha alrighty.
Maybe Caine didn't get enough sleep at night, though Derek did remember Rainer mentioning that the boy was usually mean and sleepy. The memory brought back the odd image of a fan with a sleepy-overly-angry-shark-toothed expression once more, causing him to grin.
Aryana's dual colored eyes softened as she heard Kang Ling speak. Her suspicions on her being shy appeared to be very correct. With a gentle smile, she shook her head at the question, while hoping that she could somehow get her to feel a little more at ease.
"No, not at all. Derek was looking for you guys actually. Though.. we're not keeping you from anything important are we?"
As the other two spoke with the other pair, Andre remained fairly silent for the time being. Normally it took a little while before he warmed up to others, so he wasn't entirely sure what to say. So for now, he just watched the others, trying to get a feel to what they were like. It didn't seem like any of them would be causing any trouble, especially not the stuttering girl.
"So what have you guys been up to? Did you take another mission yet?" asked Derek.

Rainer watched Derek grin for no particular reason and he curiously stared at him. His mind flashed him a fleeting memory of their first meeting where he had also grinned, particularly because of something to do with Caine. As to what the specific reason was, the blonde had forgotten it long ago. More exactly, a few minutes after the scene had occurred. Yeah, he wasn’t exactly the best at remembering things. As to why and how he managed to do well on tests and exams was a mystery to even his little brother.
Caramel timidly gazed up at the taller woman and she nervously placed a hand on top of another, meshing her fingers together. The female WEAPON was kind and softly stared at her. Gaze darted back and forth between the floor and Aryana. “Th-That’s g-good . . . N-No. W-We w-were j-j-just wa-walking a-aro-around, w-was a-all,” she mumbled, constantly shifting her body weight between her feet.
Caine lifted his head ever so slightly, suspicious dark blue eyes staring at the silent stranger. Andre, was it? Eyelids drooped and he suppressed a yawn, gladly letting them shut.
He eagerly nodded his head. “Yup! We went to Switzerland. The guy was so big, but we took him down anyways! Thought he was a normal guy at first, but then Caine pointed and the guy was sitting on a dead body! Weird, huh?”

Feeling a pair of eyes on him, Andre soon found himself staring back at the sleepy one. The staredown didn't last too long, as Caine seemingly feel asleep again. It was a bit odd at how sleepy the guy was, but he wasn't really going to question it right now. Everyone had their days where they weren't exactly alert and all.
"Relax Kang Ling," said Aryana in a reassuring tone, "We're all friends here. So relax... ok?"
Derek glanced over at the girls, listening to Kang Ling stutter. Did she have a speech problem maybe? Or was she really that nervous to be around them all? He wasn't really sure about it. Then, hearing Rainer talk about their latest mission, his eyes widened and a grin washed over his face.
"Really? Nice job!! What was it like to take on someone like that? And to take him down!" he questioned, "Man... I can't wait till we get a mission ourselves..."
"You may want to practice more before that," interjected Andre. He didn't sound like he was trying to insult Derek (this time); it seemed to be more of a warning or reminder.

Actually, Caine never really seemed to be wide awake. The only exception to this habit of his was when there were missions. He didn’t think it to be a great idea to be sleeping during a mission. Could he even stay asleep while in WEAPON form? He hadn’t bothered trying and wasn’t too keen on the idea either. Being swung around and spilling blood while he was napping didn’t sound like the most fun thing to do.
Even when she knew that she was “relaxed” as she could get, Kang nodded her head anyways. “O-Okay.”
“Oh man, it was so cool!” Rainer said, excitedly blabbering on about their mission. Caine drowsily mumbled in his sibling’s ear and he stopped his rambling. “Anyways . . . have you signed up for a mission yet?”
The cheerful boy’s shoulders drooped as he realized that Andre had a point. It was unwise to do one’s mission (especially the first one) if one of the partners didn’t feel ready. “That’s true,” he remarked with a frown and then jumped back to his peppy self. “If you need help with training or whatever I’ll help! Kang and Caine will too, right?”
It actually wasn’t a question, because he could easily pull both of them into a spar if he thought it to be a promising idea. All apart of being an obedient girl who can’t say “no” or a boy who loves his elder twin and complies with his sibling's silliest propositions.

"Hm... not quite yet. But there are some missions on the board that interest me. I'll probably be signing up pretty soon really," replied Derek with a grin.
Then, glancing over at Andre, he shifted some. What the guy said was true; he did need to practice more. At the same time, Derek felt that he should also get some experience. Slashing at made up enemies wasn't always that helpful.
Once he heard Rainer's offer, the technician's face lit up. Well there was one way to get some experience! And without the whole risk of dying or serious injury type thing. Grinning, he began to nod vigorously.
"Oh! Oh! That'd be cool! We should definitely do that sometime!"
"Yeah... sparring should help a lot actually," added Aryana thoughtfully, "It'll help us both out too!"

Rainer thoughtfully nodded his head. He would have started tapping his chin, but his hands were a smidge occupied, carrying his twin and all. “Soon, eh? That’s pretty good. Since you also have twin WEAPONs we all know that the requirements are more than the regular pair! Best to go at missions with vigor, don’t you think? So we don’t get left behind by everyone else,” he remarked.
Crystalline eyes catching sight of the uncomfortable shifting of his recently-made friend, he wondered what was wrong. Well, there wasn’t much time to ponder about it because Derek instantly became excited at the idea of a spar, nodding his agreement. This got the blonde eager. “Great! Are you doing anything? Maybe we can do it now!” Speaking quicker and quicker, it was only when Caine crankily woke up to his twin’s rambling and roughly banged his forehead against Rainer’s head that he ceased.
Then he turned to Kang with a sheepish grin, hoping for an approval. Slight hesitation and she eventually nodded her head. “I-I d-don’t m-mind.”
Out numbered, Caine grumbled and muttered his approval. “Fine.”

Nodding, Derek agreed wholeheartedly about needing to tackle missions with vigor. He wasn't about to let them fall behind just because they had more to do than most others at the school. At the same time, it would definitely be good to be ready.
"Nope! Not right now anyway. But... that sounds good to me!" he said eagerly before glancing behind to see what his weapons would say.
"Well it'd be a good experience for sure," confirmed Andre who also grinned now. He always enjoyed a little challenge. And to some extent, they were also competing with the other pair.
Smiling, Aryana nodded before speaking softly, "Sounds good to me. We should probably head to the park where there's more room. It's a pretty nice day out anyway."
Both twin hooks were curious to what sort of weapons Caine and Rainer were exactly, as well as what Kang's fighting style was like. All the unknowns that there were for this sparring session should definitely keep them all on their toes. Aryana was slightly worried for Kang though, seeing how she and her brother were quite sharp in their weapon forms. If Derek wasn't careful, the poor girl could get hurt.

Derek turned to his WEAPONs to see if they would also approve and fortunately both of them voiced their confirmation, agreeing to the idea. This led to Rainer beaming even wider and nearly pumped his fists and dropping his sibling in the process.
Caine dug his nails into the broad shoulders of his brother and looked flustered for a few brief moments. “Watch what you’re doing next time, will you?” he hissed and slid off Rainer’s back, finally settling for walking on his own. Eyes drowsily blinked and he scratched his head, irritated at the sudden turn of events. Clearly, his preference was to not spar with the other, but there was no choice. At least the advantages to participating in this would be more experience in fighting. Their past two encounters hadn’t been that much of a brawl. It would also be an opportune time to gauge Kang Ling’s stamina.
He gleefully looked at Aryana. “We were just there a few days ago,” he said. A cheerful air to his steps, Rainer excitedly wrapped a hand around Kang’s thin wrist and gently pulled her along. “To the park we go!” he half-sang.
Kang Ling choked back a startled cry. “E-E-Eh?!”
While the other two got a head start, Caine lazily trailed behind them.

Though she laughed softly at Rainer's reaction, Aryana quickly stopped as he ended up dropping his brother. Though he seemed to be alright at least. It wouldn't do them any good if the poor guy ended up getting a concussion or something like that.
She also noticed that he didn't seem to be nearly as enthused as Rainer was. And Kang seemed to be a bit nervous about what they were going to do. For a split second, she wondered if this was going to be a good idea, but they all needed the experience, one way or another.
"Yes!" agreed Derek as he started to follow the group. His weapons soon followed suit as well.
Before long, both trios found themselves in the park. There were several other people there, just enjoying the outdoors or playing around. But over all, it wasn't all that crowded. Good thing too; it wouldn't be good if someone accidentally took a stray hit or anything like that.
"Alright, let's do this!" grinned the Technician as he stretched out to loosen some of his muscles.
