I didn't find topic about nutrition and how to successfully burn fat and do it the right way. What do you think about workout supplements? Feel free to talk anything about weight issues and nutrition.

I don't think that taking supplements is cheating. I think that balanced meals are usually enough. If you have more than 2 or 3 workouts a day then its quite useful to take some supplements. Sometimes I feel tired after training and it helps me to recover.

Go natural ... Eat fruits for natural sugars ... vegetable for fiber and carbs ... and fish like tilapia or slamon for protein ...

Count your portions ... I did 6 ounces of a carb (rice, bread) and 4 ounces of a protein (lean meat, fish, chicken) ... but be careful ... once your body gets used to it ... you are going to have to switch to something else ...

if your a wrestler like me then u know the obvious trick of loading 5-6 layers of clothes on sitting around all day then running for 2-3 hours and u drop serious weight. BUT I DO NOT ADVISE THIS FOR A LONG TERM THING!!! it's not the healthiest thing to do but we do it to make weight for our next match but what you can do is put on a few shirts or somthing but not a ton of clothes and run for 2-3 hours.....The most i've done ever was like 6 layers of clothes, went to school, sweat all day, then went home and ran for like 3-ish hours and dropped 7 pound in weight. Just remember if you put some extra clothes on and lose a bunch of weight, it's most likely water weight. but watever you do never starve yourself.

Weight cutting sucks ... and yes one should not do it for a long period ... weight cutting is just shediing water from your system ... as a MMA fighter ... I'm lucky ... due to the fact that I'm allowed to rehydrate and eat ... from what I heard from our wrestler of the group ... she had to make weight (which was pretty easy for her) and then go straight to the match ... Generally though I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't need it ... weight cutting is dangerous if done wrong ... and doesn't beneift you if your looking for long term weight loss ...

I think it is difficult to successfully burn fat. Its already hard when you are in good shape and to do it the right way (not loosing your muscles and not getting sick). Anyone can put a sauna suit on or refuse to eat, but you will not get any good results with that.

The bottom line is you got to meet your body halfway. To avoid fattening up: Cut out bread, sugar (starches), and corn products. That is especially hard in the states, but its possible if you can afford vegetables. To slim down: Get a routine going. If you do the same thing at the same time every day, it will be easier to commit.
Supplements: One of the most successful supplements is Alli, which is a hunger-buster that blocks fat absorption. If you eat too much fat, you just s**t it right out and your poo is all orange... I think it is just easier not to eat stuff that is bad for you.
Controlling your sweet tooth: I have 2 great tricks to feed my sweet tooth, 1: Cereal Snacks: It takes an unbelievably long time to eat a serving (1 cup) of cereal by hand. This means you can indulge your sweet tooth for the whole day on 110-190 calories a day. 2: Hard Candy: Same policy. If you have the self control to suck on hard candy, you can last several hours before consuming 200 calories of hard candy.
Finally, reward yourself. When you see results, look in the mirror and say, "Damn! What a sexy thing." You've earned it. biggrin
