Me and this other girl who sucks a bit less than I do might be starting a punk rock type band. We'll see how it goes. I'm always a bit skeptical about these things.

Well here are my words of encourage ment!
Always remember, if its Punk rock you don't have to be good at playing your instament! an exilent exmple is Sid Vicious! If you at all know what I am talking about xd
Well any how I am sure you will be fine, as long as you are doing what you love...
I was part of the underground band circle when I lived back in Ont before I moved to Alberta and there were alot of really good bands who I think are better then some of the bands that they record today! its always a good place to start and expand from there! I could also be Biest because most of the band members from all the bands were my friends lol xd
But any how good luck!
Band Name Suggestion: The Waffle Ducks
ps if you use the name and get famouse I want royalties! lol jk

Thanks! I don't even care about getting out there. Playing music with someone else is SO much more fun than playing music by yourself.

Haha, true. The name would certainly attract attention. Can you imagine browsing through the punk rock section of a CD store and there amongst all the negative or angry sounding names you stumble upon... The Waffle Ducks? burning_eyes
She plays guitar and drums and bass. But she's best at guitar and bass, I think. I'm gonna be learning drums from another friend of mine. mrgreen

XD but ah... yeah, not really my style... though, I could probably listen to some/a small part of it... not everything in that documentary was bad razz But I feel so sorry for this one band... I think it was Minor Threat (though I'm not sure at all), they had a song about being white and respect (because the vocalist (at least) had grown up in a black neighbourhood and such it was only natural to want to be seen as equal among his neighbours razz ) and now, 10-20 years later in the documentary, he's like "and... now neo-nazi people from... ukraine (or some eastern europe land) sends me letters praising my music. W-T-F?" xd poor guy...
