1. Don't overtax your healers by constantly charging into mobs that are strong green or stronger.
2. Best groups always have two healers.
3. If an area is a challenge, then be smart and lure enemies in with ranged attacks. No need to charge a mob you can't handle.
4. If you are going to farm an area and need bait to lure in monsters from nearby areas, make sure the person who is bait is buffed up and the rest of the party is ready to handle the trap.
5. Full screen the game and always have your crew status bar in a corner where it won't get in the way but you can watch health. That way before you decide to lure monsters back to make things interesting, you know if the crew has their energy back to actually handle the mess.
6. Be a lemming when you aren't in a group.
7. Don't be a boring group to help prevent people from being lemmings.
8. If you are going to milk an area, have a secondary plan to lure creatures from nearby areas to give more things to do. Just remember to take energy breaks.
9. Cherry fluffs in Zen Gardens are passive unless attacked and they explode if you don't kill them in one hit. Same for the red dolls there. They only attack if they are aggravated or another doll is being attacked.

OMGWTF strategy guide
When taking on this boss your crew needs to have at least 3 Defib rings. As most people when taking it on for the first time is 2.1 - 2.5 (Total charge). It would be a good idea to get hold of someone that has a charge of 2.9 or higher for the tanking.
When you have cleared the way to the gate(Last Frame) make sure you rest and your party is buffed. When moving up keep your healers behind you and clear out the OMG that are there, make sure you stay away from the gate at first lure those close to the gate to you with range attacks.
When they are killed move your healers to the upper right corner and then send someone to start the waves. Though pure speculation I found that with the first group I did this with there was only 4-5 waves before the boss showed but when I did it with DW and Lynn there was at least 6-7 waves. So it might depend on the average charge of your crew how many there are.
When the boss shows his face everybody move towards the stairs. The top of the stairs is a no go for the boss and you can place your healers here.
Now comes the tricky part. The boss has now moved from to the frame before the gate. The tanker needs to go fetch it. The others need to wait just beyond the stairs. When the tanker comes back with the boss the others attack it to get its attention while he goes to the stairs for healing if necessary. Now this is where the healers come into play and also why you need two.
Those that are attacking must not take it on all at once cause as soon as everybody leaves the frame he heals up completely. So you need to take turns attacking it, like a relay race. The healers need to be good and fast so that the person is ready to go out when he needs to.
The attackers need to watch their health carefully and leave enough so they can escape. If you die don't worry others can defib you also what happens is that all of them are still recharging just awake and make your way back as quick as you can. No need to worry as long as there is one crew member in the graveyard the monsters won't spawn so its a clear run to the top. Continue this in till the boss dies.
OMG farming guide
Make your way to the gate clear the OMG that are there, be careful not to trip the alarm just yet.
When they are dead move your crew to the frame below the gate group together in the center then send one person to activate the alarm and come back. That way the OMG spawn but as soon as they leave the gate frame the alarm deactivates.
This process can be repeated as much times as desired. Just remember to alternate between crew members as they do not reap the benefits of the crew when they are in the other frame. This does not require a dedicated healer but it would be nice to have one.

Otami Ruins Thus far I have received reports that Otami might be too hard for 7-8 CL players and it might be dumbed down when the zOMG crew has time to deal with it, so for those about to enter the Hell that is Otami right now I wrote this from my explorations of it.
Believe me when I say this but crews are worth their weight in gold here.
Blood tree hill stealth run On the first quest there you must find your way to the blood tree. It is possible to do alone at 7.0 but you must have some good attacking rings and patience. Doing a stealth run to avoid the Tiny Terror patrols (lead by tiny witch docs to be feared) make rounds to and fro from the tree to nearly all parts of blood tree hill.
Avoiding them is simply waiting for them to pass you by and watching them pass by from a screen away (in other words watch the colored enemy icons at the edge of the screens)
The stealth run is done by going to all chest on the hill avoiding the patrols which can own any solo-er and crews You start at the other end of the coalt pond then go one screen up one between the opening of the fallen tree trunk then left of that screen you should avoid the patrols is done correctly then go one screen up and you'll see a basket chest... IT'S A TRAP! when opened several coalts will appear defeat them and you'll earn a badge (basket case) and gold/orbs/loot.
After the chest go to the edge of the screen on the left side and wait for the patrols to pass again (remember there are 3 terror patrols that pass by) then run strait across the next screen into the far right one. from there you will see 3 tiny terrors ignore them for now and go down one screen to find another chest. Go back to the other 3 terrors and kill them (at CL 7.0 they should be a challenge but you can survive it if your resourceful) then wait for a Terror patrol to pass and go up one screen, there will be 3 more tiny terrors kill them as well and go up again there will be a safe spot to rest, USE IT and get ready to take down a single witch doc for a chest if you managed to kill it take your rightfull reward and go left there you will meet two Tiny terrors kill them and go left to the vista cliff safe spot were you can see part of the explosion that happened in one of gaia's mangas. From there it's simply going back to the screen to right and down one screen waiting for terror patrols to pass and go up the ramp to the Blood tree where you can finish the first of otami's quest and where the final chest lays... guarded by a witch doc patrol you can go ahead and try to get it but it's a fight a solo 7.0 might not win. (though if your resourceful you can win)
Summary: avoid the patrols by not running into them on screen and find each chest there going from the end of pond screen: Up, Left, Up, right, right, down, up, up, up, left, left, down, right screens and that should net you all the chest and quest easily than running into bloody witch doc patrols.
The gauntlet
(the info was somewhat correct. The Gauntlet will be dumbed down for future players soon, be glad you won't have to die over and over at the hands of dozens of Otami animated while you run your a** and crew across several screens then being stoped just before the finish by a Mask's attack which acts like the quicksand ring.)
Hardest quest I've even done that didn't involve a boss, Lets hope Q and CO. nerf Otami soon, eh? The best advise I have to offer on this quest is go with a full crew that has the following rings: -fleet feet -Teflon -coyote spirit -ghost -turtle -adrenaline even with all these buffs it's still possible for the crew to fail... even at CL 10!! (or so I heard) So the best thing is "Hope" you get your a** to the finish line and help the ones that didn't with another run through the Gauntlet.
The Great Stone Coatl Not recommended to solo for anyone not at CL 10 Since it's many changes it's become a bit different.
-The minions scale to the highest crew member CL. -the more crew the more things you need to deal with
Advise The best piece of advise I have that goes for the entire game is FARM!! Also crew with people it helps with farming.

When in close range attack with a raw damage ring weakening ur enemy then attack with a ranegd ring to finish it of hopefully this goes for a whole crew aswell and if u have a crew thats all dazed and ur the only one left with a defib ring that needs to replenish its strength so u can revive again surrender if teh zOMG enemies dont take ur surrender (100% chance) run liek hell D;

having a low base ring level increases your drop rate, a high level fire rain is great for harvesting orbs. mine is level 5 and my ring level is 1.9

Lemming is somebody who charges into death, getting themselves and usually everybody else killed with them.

I have a request to make of Qixter's stalkers. We have some people who are coming back to zOMG that need an idea of what updates have been made overall. Just the highlights, we don't need to know when Qixter metaphorically picked his nose in the game.
Looking for event updates, instances, ring updates, stuff like that. Most of it, I already know or have figured out. However, a lot of us don't think to check out Qixter's journal or hunt down whatever little thing is in the MMO forums so I would appreciate a thread with stuff here.
