Has anyone ever tried going through Challenge mode by themselves? Will it be easier to get S rank if you give all your items to one character and run through it loaded up with scape dolls and weapons?

I think that challenge mode is available for single player but it leaves you with no help whatsoever, don't kid yourself it's uber hard.
Also one would point out that no matter what you have you start with whatever they give you, and when you leave that stuff is gone.

If you meant if it would be easier to jst collect all the stuff by yourself, I doubt it, theres just a bunch of the same sabers and stuff. I supposed this should be different later on, O.o' (haven't finished it yet) it's best to get a well rounded party together.

If you are short one and online (gc) let me know, I'm still looking to get a team together....(everyone leaves after one level...)

I've tried challenge mode with my friends... but everyone seems to die before we can finish the second forest... besides, it gets boring after awhile...

Challenge mode is only worth playing if you have a bunch of friends, and a lot of time. Challenge mode takes hours to complete. But if completed under a certain time, you are hansomly rewarded. I've tried it once or twice. But it gets boring after the forest...

First off, you cannot play challenge mode on single player. And even if you could, it would be impossible (Some puzzles require more than one person). Challenge mode plays off of strategy and teamwork. It's all about working as a team, solving puzzles, killing off monsters, and breeding Mags. What makes it harder is that you are timed. The better time you are able to get, the rarer the item you recieve after finishing.

Yeah that's what I meant. Does it work to give all your techs, materials and ginders to one character? That way that one characters levels will go up higher then your second character. Your main character would also become stronger then normal.

Yeah Challenge mode is two players, only but you could put in two controllers and use the second player to trigger switches for you. But only after the main player has cleared out the room. Then at bosses you could give all the scape dolls to the second player, run them to the corner, and then hope your main supped up player can kill the boss as quickly as possible.

Sorry let me clarify! My question is would this strategy work in higher areas of challenge mode. Has anyone attempted this?

For challenge mode players:
I reccommend a group of 2 or 3. NOT 4. This way grinders, and other useful items can be distributed eaiser. Also, always stay together. This way, no one gets isolated from the group. This could lead to monsters killing of that one member. Bad.

Also, try and find as many Scape Dolls as possible. This way, you have extra chances of surviving. Good luck.
