I have made this stuff every year around Christmas/New Years since I was 10. The recipe can be varied to include nuts and pineapple chunks.
Pinken Stufen (Pink Fluff)
1 can of pie cherries
1 can of Eagle Brand Milk (sweetened condensed milk)
1 tub of Cool Whip (whipped cream)
a. Put the Cool Whip in a large bowl.
b. Add cherries and Eagle Brand Milk (the order of these two doesn't matter, but I think adding them at the same time works best).
c. Stir until you can no longer see any of the seperated parts, then smooth out the top.
d. Cover with Seran wrap (cling wrap) and chill until serving time.
Serves quite a few people, or just me over a period of three days.
