William walked into his room and locked the door. "Damn it." Will didn't trust this guy, but he knew that he needed to calm down. Trevor knew what he was doing. Will just needed to trust him. His anxiety and loathing for the new guy was unmanageable at that moment. Realizing this, Will decided that he would just stay in his room and keep himself occupied until his nasty feelings would blow over.

Hudson watched Will leave the room, then looked at Trevor as he tried to make up for his friend's despondent attitude. He nodded, accepting the explanation. "It's all right. It's hard to trust anyone in a time like this..." He said. He followed Trevor around as he showed off their little space. It was quite nice, actually. When Trevor mentioned food, though, Hudson perked up. "Starving..." He admitted, a little shyly. ❝Over and over again, all these never-ending visions.
Over and over again like a prize that's changing hands.
The time has a come,
The clock is such a drag.
All you who changed your stripes can wrap me in the flag.
Hudson died on Hudson Bay,
But I was born on Sudden Place.
The rising tide helped me decide to change my name again.
Some tend to linger on and some may case from Babylon.

"Help yourself. Just don't drink too much of the milk. Will will have my head." Trevor then opened one of the cupboards and began to make himself a bowl of mac and cheese.

Hudson knew his excitement probably peeked through a little bit. He hadn't eaten more than a couple of crackers or a granola bar in days. He was just slightly less than ecstatic to be getting a decent meal. "Wouldn't dream of it." He responded about the milk with a small smile. He looked through the contents of the fridge. These guys were pretty well stocked, and Hudson felt bad eating food he hadn't helped gather... But he was so hungry. Hopefully he would be able to pay them back for the generosity at some point.
Hudson picked up one of the packaged burritos Trevor had mentioned, and looked around, wondering if he should cook it at all or just eat it cold. Either way, he didn't care, it would be something in his belly. "How long have you two been here? You have a pretty good back-stock going, and your setup is superb." He asked, trying to make conversation. ❝Over and over again, all these never-ending visions.

Maybe several months.. There are a lot of abandoned food outlets around here because everyone up and left for the border once everything went to s**t." He remembered when they got to this city, there weren't anymore surviving stragglers, only several groups of dead ones that had moved on or killed by he and Will. Looking in the right places of Seattle, you'd find a treasure trove of supplies and food stuffs. "Before that, we'd been traveling on foot finding a good space. We finally got here and thought, "hey, this place is pretty cool. Seattle's known for technology, waterfront and surrounding forestry made it easy to get a good balance of all the supplies that would help us survive."
The microwave beeped and Trevor quickly took the mac and cheese from it, stirred and started slurping it down. "What about you? How did you happen to get to this side of the world?"

Hudson listened to Trevor's explanation and nodded in agreement. Then he asked Hudson about himself. "Well, I was actually stopping in for a visit to some friends..." He said. "I hadn't quite made it to my destination yet before all of this happened, but I've been stuck here in the US wandering around since then..." He said. Hudson had no idea whether his friends were living or not at this point, and he didn't really have much intention of hunting them down. ❝Over and over again, all these never-ending visions.

"So, what's the game plan? You know, other than the obvious..." Surviving, is what he meant. It should be the end goal for most of everyone. The bitter few that tried to off themselves would find that accomplishing the task would not be difficult.
"If anything, you're welcome to stay for a week or two... We don't get much visitors," Trevor shrugged, "and you'd be able to scavenge for supplies with us."
