She knew Natalie was there and she knew she wanted to talk to Collin but Winter wasn't going to let her. After what had just happened she feared that Collin would go back to Natalie. "J-James probably needs you now Natalie." Was all she said to the black haired fae before running deeper into the cave. What if he hurt himself? Oh god and it's all my fault! She thought before finally spotting his wolf form on the ground. He must have hit his head. She knelt beside him her hand running through the fur on his neck while the other handwas on the ground. "Collin?" She asked him a little nervous her heart racing. She really hoped the male was okay or she wouldn't be able to live with herself. She gently shook his fur. "Collin?" He knew it was Winter- he recognized by her cold, delicate fingers. But she smelled like James. The aloha's bitter stench was all over the beta female. As she shook him, Collin forced himself to his paws, golden eyes cold. His lifted his lips back in a growl at her. I'm not a charity case! I can hold my own! he snapped at her, though he felt decently dizzy and had a faint, dull headache. He hated this. He hated how james knocked Winter up, moved on to Collin's Natalie, jumped back on Winter as soon as he found out she was pregnant, got rejected then went crawling back to Natalie. He hated that Winter ranked of James. He hated it and he just wanted to be alone. Sort of. He turned his back to her and took only a couple steps before sitting down. His head throbbed. The beta's golden eyes closed, hackles flattening as a defeated sigh escaped his maw. ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃♞ ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ I'll throw away my faith, babe, just to keep you safe.xxxxx xx xx xx xx xx xx ❝Don't you know you're everything I have?❞

She fell backwards on her bottom with a small gasp before leaning her back against the wall and looked over to the black and brown wolf. The most lighting there was were the emeralds on the walls really from this far away. She watched him a little bit. He looked like he would stumble over, he must have hit his head. She sighed and bent her knees up wrapping her arms around them. She had just denied James because of their ranks and for Collin and now Collin was denying her most likely for Natalie or that she most likely smelled of James. She knew he was most likely mad and there was nothing she could say. She let her head bend down to rest on her knees as she closed her eyes. Obviously he didn't want to talk to her so she'd leave him alone. Winter didn't expect much more anyway after leaving him here to go see James and then coming back reeking like him. She figured if he wanted to run out to Natalie or something he most likely would without anymore words from her. She felt her heart tug and tug. She felt like she was going to be sick as she felt the baby kick again. Great, just great. This should add onto the stress. Winter knew when girls were pregnant they had cravings and severe mood changes and knew if Collin did take her back that he would most likely have to deal with all that craziness. Somehow she sort of doubted he would. She seemed to run out of tears to cry. It was as if her heart had stopped and she was in shock. She couldn't believe what she had just did and she wasn't too sure of where she was going now but she guessed it would have to be Collin. Her purple eyes were closed gently as she sat there leaning against the wall with her arms around her knees. ° º ¤ ø , ¸ ¸ , ø ¤ º ° ` ° º ¤ ø ° º ¤ ø , ¸ ¸ , ø ¤ º ° ` ° º ¤ ø ° º ¤ ø , ¸ ¸ , ø ¤ º ° ` ° º ¤ ø †Shut up I don't wanna hear it Get out of my way You'll never stop me Nothing you say today is gonna bring me down†

Sometimes I wish it was me instead of you You'd be better for this then I ever would be ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± Natalie let out a growl when James stopped her from landing a blow on the witch. In her mind she deserved it! She had just ripped everything away from Natalie in less then a day! A little punch was all she was asking for? Was that to much? She snapped out of her train of thoughts when she noticed Collin race away and into the darkness, smelling the scent of tears, which caused her heart to pretty much break. She had already been through so much pain, and knowing that all of this was making Collin upset was the last straw. He didn't deserve this. All the pain and suffering. He'd already been through so much and-Her head whipped around towards James when she noticed he was crying, and that wasn't helping her already shattered heart, and mixed up emotions. She already felt angry, sad, alone, so utterly confused, hated and not to mention worthless. But would any one care? God no. They only cared about there precious little Winter. That thought sparked up some anger in the fae but she didn't let it get the best of her right now. As she took a deep breath she froze hearing James words. Her too? Her too what? Was he going to just tell her off then and there or something? Or was he trying to....No. she thought as it clicked. Was he saying what she thought he was saying? But he just..he couldn't just say that! Well not right now! That wasn't going to help right now was it? She couldn't just be all 'oh I love you too James', not because she didn't but because of Collin. She loved him too, but he obviously wanted Winter. And so did James. She was just there second choice. The one they'd get when Winter denied one of them. Maybe she should just be this cold heartless uncaring b!tch everyone makes her out to be. She'd just let both males suffer and walk away. Too bad she'd never do that. She ignored Winter's word to her and placed her hands on her head closing her eyes tightly as she took a few deep breaths to keep herself calm and not cry. There was so much being tossed out to everyone right now and it was to much to handle. Winter ran off, James fallowed and Collin was off probably beating himself up over all of this. Falling into depression. Collin. she thought sadly, feeling her eyes start to water. She wanted nothing more then to wrap her arms around him and just hold him. She had felt so safe and wanted in his arms. She just wanted it to go back to the way it was. Before she started to grow feelings for James and had to worry about the pack. But it wasn't like she could deny being Alpha. She had to take responsibility for what she did. The Alpha female died because she was unable to make up her mind so she had to take it. It wasn't as if she knew James was challenging the male. She wasn't exactly paying to much attention to what was going on around her then. Her mind was to focused on losing her brother. Shaking her head she focused back onto what was going on and stared after were Collin went, shooting a small glance towards the cave entrance before she took a few steps after him, only stopping when she smelt Winter. Her hair fell over her eyes and her body tensed up when she spoke. Her body was on the verge of shifting as the blue haired girl took off after Collin. Well wasn't she just little miss perfect chasing after not only one male, but the two of them! The two of them! A growl started to escape her throat before it turned into a soft whimper and she just gave up. There was no point in even trying any more. Not to her anyway. She saw no reason to get so worked up when nothing was going to change. But she couldn't just leave when Collin was like this. She had to talk to him, and figure this all out. James had to wait. That may sound bad but she had to make a choice and right now it was Collin. She continued on fallowing Winter's scent and she glared at the girl. "Get out. I'm speaking to him so what ever you have to say to him can wait. You had your chance to speak to him before but you just ran off. So now you can wait, and this is an order. So you better wait." she told her icily feeling her muscles ripple under her skin. She looked at the state she was in before turning her head away. "Or just sit there, but I'm talking to Collin. And I don't care how you feel about that either." the last part was directed towards Collin instead of Winter. Even if he didn't want to talk, she was going to speak to him. She just had to before she went to go fix what ever damage Winter caused to James. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± I know I can't compare to her, and I probably never will but if you can't accept me for who I am then you can get stabbed with silver.

He knew Winter wanted James. He knew Natalie wanted James. He knew he was their second choice and wouldn't get a say in who he mated with. His hackles rose again when footsteps neared and Natalie's scent mixed in with Winter's. Then again, of course, James's scent overpowered both of theirs'. He turned as she addressed the beta male, shifting back into his bloodied and shirtless human form. He snorted. Natalie did have a good point. Winter was just trying to be happy with both males, apparently. A sigh and the beta male ran a hand through his hair when he was addressed. "Then talk," he said flatly. His voice, usually either warm and flirty or cold and menacing, held no emotions. It was flat and blunt, void of everything. His face, as well, was neutral, but his eyes were a mixture of anger and pain. ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃♞ ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ I'll throw away my faith, babe, just to keep you safe.xxxxx xx xx xx xx xx xx ❝Don't you know you're everything I have?❞

Sometimes I wish it was me instead of you You'd be better for this then I ever would be ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± Natalie frowned a bit when she heard Collin's voice hating what had been done to him. Damn it why couldn't this not involve him? He would of been so much happier if he wasn't. And if Autumn was still around. He's still be happy and not with this. And what could she possibly say to him? Sorry and give a whole bunch of reasons? Or that she still cared for him but there was James and her position and...Sh!t. I should have thought this out. she thought before letting her shoulders drop. "I try and try and tray and try to do the right thing, but I always end up hurting people. And right now I think the one who I'm hurting most is you.. I became Alpha because I had to take responsibility for what happened to the last Female Alpha, and that meant leaving you. Then I had to be all happy with James and get to know him, and that probably didn't make you feel any better, but you had Winter with you, so I doubt you cared. You didn't when I entered the cave and she was all over you." she snapped the last bit out then shut her eyes not meaning for that to come out. But it was too late to take it back now. Now that she thought about it, she was being hypocritical. She always thought of how James and Winter should just do what there rank says. God, she was so bad. Scowling at herself she reopened up her eyes and stared at him. There was a cold look in her eyes, but hidden under that was her own pain and regret."So maybe I shouldn't care. You obviously made your choice so I see no point in trying. She's obviously the better choice then I am. Not to mention I don't exactly know what to do after seeing that. Well after all of this. You said to come find you after, I did. Did you want me to feel like total and utter crap Collin? Well then congratulations! You did! Or did you just want to get in some petty little pay back because I was hanging around James?" she spat at him. Well, so much for not being cold, but she couldn't help it. It was hard trying to be so sympathetic when he had just blown off what he had said to make out with Winter! And being cold was how she hid her emotions. "You know what? I probably shouldn't of even tried to talk to you. This is just useless anyway." she said bitterly as she turned away from him and glared at the wall. She was getting frustrated at herself. This wasn't what she wanted to say, but it was how she felt. Well some of how she felt. She didn't want to yell at him, she didn't really want to yell at anyone but letting herself get weak and vulnerable wasn't an option. It didn't go so well last time. Well then again in a way it did. If she had let James do what he wanted, made up her mind, she may not be in this position. But that was the problem. She couldn't. James and Collin did. Winter either made up her mind to be with Collin, or she was trying to get with him and James with out anyone knowing. But she herself couldn't do it. Not when they both didn't want her. "I just hope your happy with your little b!tch. And if she leaves you, don't come crying to me about it. It was your own choice. Now, if you excuse me I have to fix something she damaged." she snapped as she turned her back on the two of them and started to walk off. On the outside she was acting none caring, on the inside she was falling apart. This wasn't what she wanted! She didn't want to do this, but maybe if he hated her then things would be easier. Not just for her, but for him. She was no good for Collin. She was indecisive and always hurting him some how. She wasn't saying Winter was better, if anything she may be a worse choice, but if she came back here she figured she had given up on James. Just for Collin. Natalie just didn't know if she could do that. For either of them. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± I know I can't compare to her, and I probably never will but if you can't accept me for who I am then you can get stabbed with silver.

Winter knew it was basically all Natalies fault her and James were hurt and Collin. If she would have let Winter move up no one would be so upset. Winter opened her eyes narrowing them as she continued to growl lowly to herself. Winter growled. Natalie was really blaming Collin for that kiss? Sure, maybe she didn't want to blamed for it but she wouldn le Natalie falsly accuse Collin! "You should just shut your filthy mouth. That was my fault not his you mutt." She retorted audible but Witer didn't look up from the ground fearing she would want to change into her wolf form and attack the black haired fae. Natalie just though all this was not her fault huh? She thought she was the one being denied all the way? No. This was her fault and she should be denied. Denied of everything including James. She didn't deserve the alpha male. When Natalie spoke for the last time Winter growled louder now audible. She shot up from her spot her heart she thought she had lost when she left James began beating faster. None of what she said was true. She was trying to make him out to be the bad guy in this. His muscles went rigid as he shot right back at her. "You act like I wanted to lost you! You act like it was my choice for Winter to be my mate! Well, get it through your head. It wasn't. I had already lost someone I loved- do you think I wanted to lose you too!? You were the only thing that kept me going after I lost Autumn!" he yelled, his loud and angry voice cracking slightly as it echoed through the empty caves. He took in a deep breath, trying to calm himself. It was so hard. The beta gently ran a hand through his crimson tresses as tears welled up in his own eyes. "I didn't instigate the kiss. That was Winter. And why would I have done that for revenge? You think I wanted to break your heart? To make you feel like crap? If you think I had any intentions of hurting you, you need a reality check. I. Love. You!" he yelled, tears finally escaping his deep teal eyes and pouring down his cheeks. He put both hands in his hair, fingers entwining with he red locks. He turned and paced a few steps before turning back to her. Then Winer started to scream. He felt like his head was going to explode. "Shut up, Winter! Just sht up!" he roared, turning and glaring angrily at the beta female. It was almost impossible to compose himself, but he did so and walked briskly towards Natalie. His strong, warm hands gripped her shoulder, his teal eyes looking into her deep purples ones. "Don't let me lose someone else I love. I can't. I can't lose you and I can't come in second to him anymore," he whispered. As another tear fell from his eye, he turned away, releasing Natalie. The beta male briskly wiped his eyes and took a deep breath. He shook his head gently, unable to say more. The ball was in her court now. If she wanted him, he'd defy everything. He'd challenge James. But, if she didn't, he would have lost someone else. Actually, two someone's. There wasn't a doubt in his mind that Winter didn't hate him after this. Sometimes I wish it was me instead of you You'd be better for this then I ever would be ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± Natalie growled at Winter when she started speaking, feeling her muscles tense up. Heartless? She honestly thought she was heartless? And what did she know? Natalie knew that but she shouldn't be talking after what she had done."If I'm so damned heartless why did I go fetch help for you, you pathetic wolf. And I don't deserve anyone? Your the one who said you'd go off with James and then you start sucking face with Collin! So if anything, your the sorry little b!tch that deserves nothing!" she yelled at the other girl, digging her nails into her palms to keep herself from going into a blind rage and shift. She took a deep shaky breath to calm down before her body tensed up hearing Collin speak up again. She kept quite and a one of her hands came up to cover her mouth when he said he loved her. Her other hand came up to were her heart was located and fisted her shirt in her hand. Her heart right now felt as if it could be fixed. If she went with Collin, there was no real risk to take. She'd be so happy, and so would he, but if she did that....what would they all do? She didn't think wolves moved down in rank. That hadn't happened before, and if Collin challenged James and lost what then? Plus there was James to think about. She honestly didn't know what to do. She didn't want to hurt either of them, but she knew she had too. When Collin's hands grabbed her shoulders she peered up at him through her dark locks with her purple eyes as he spoke again. Her hand fell from her mouth feeling the need to cry come stronger now but she kept on pushing it down. "Your not second to him Collin. To me you never were second to James. Your better then him, in many ways. " she told him softly wanting to reach out to him, but through better of it right now. She had to make a choice right now, and she was so damned confused, but she knew what she had to do. "I love you too Collin, more then you'll ever know, but we just can't. It's not that I don't want this, I do, but I can't push everything aside for what I want. I love being alpha, and I love this pack Collin. I can't just abandon them. Especially not now. It's a terrible excuse, but it's just..I don't know. It's so damn hard trying to think right now. James is off probably killing himself or something, and your hurting so much. I hate this." she said hating how she couldn't just make up her mind. What was wrong with her? She knew what she could have with him. She knew she would be happy. So why? "Maybe it's for the best that your with Winter. She came back for you and crap, a-and I'm just going to keep on hurting you. I...I can't be with you. Not when I can't make up my mind about what I want. You don't deserve that. You need someone who isn't like me." she stuttered with her words slightly as the tears started to form in her eyes. She hated herself. She hated herself for doing this but....if this continued on nothing would go right for anyone. And she had to leave. If she didn't she'd lose it, and well James needed her. She owned it to him to at least try and help him. He helped her, sort of. "I'm sorry Collin." she whispered as she took a few steps back and then she ran. It seemed to be the only thing she was good at. Running from her problems. God, she was so terrible. Some of the tears she was fighting made it's way down her face but they didn't stay for too long. -Exit Natalie- ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± I know I can't compare to her, and I probably never will but if you can't accept me for who I am then you can get stabbed with silver.

Tears fell from them as she continued to hear Collins sngry cracking voice. When Collin told Natalie he loved her Winter didn't expect anything less. She knew that, and she knew Collin knew she loved James. She guessed they were even but she couldn't bare the thought of staying away from James this long. When he exploded on her and told her to shut up Winter took steps back hitting the wall before slowly sliding down it pulling her knees up as she rested her hands on her forehead and then on her knees. Her heart was gone, never to come back. The only person who could fully mend her broken heart would be James but they couldn't do that. She had never really heard of wolves just switching ranks. It was just wrong. Her eyes closed tightly letting tears fall freely from them. Her body was shaking. Collin had said that to her two times now today. He really didn't care for Winter much but she had expected it. She cared for the beta male, a lot but James... James was her heart. Not even Natalie or Collin could understand that. They hadn't had as good a relationship with each other as James and Winter obviously. Winter let her tears pour from her dull almost brown or black eyes as they stayed tightly shut. She had no idea what to do. Now hearing Natalie start to yell back Winter didn't even try to growl when she wanted to. Both fae's were right even Winter knew that. Maybe all of them should just do their job and pretend they never have to be mates or never have met. She knew what the two were feeling and she knew James was probably feeling like sh!t but so did Winter. Winter needed to stop the tears and she knew wolves didn't have tear ducts. Maybe she could... She had to... If she didn't she would just bruise her heart more by continuing to cry. She didn't care what happened to the baby which not much should change... She hoped. She shifted into her wolf form feeling a whole ton less vulnerable and she lay down on her side her breathing shallow so glad that she wasn't crying anymore. She let out a sigh her dark eyes focused on nothing but the wall.

Isaiah trotted in, and quickly scented Winter. He recoiled in surprise, and thought, What the hell was the beta female doing here? And why was she alone? What if a vamp came along? She would be as good as dead. Isaiah quickly trotted over to her, and noticed Collin's scent. Grimacing, he touched his black nose to her side, and said quietly, W-Winter? Do you need to be healed? Is the baby I feel inside of you okay? I know you're pregnant, and don't worry, as long as you don't move too much my magic tells me you're gonna be fine. Just don't try to run around, okay? Isaiah knew he was babbling, but he was nervous, and felt slightly sick to his stomach. He hated the silence, and the pain that filled the air and made it hard to breathe. Looking at Collin, he flinched at the expression that seemed to be fixed on the beta male's face. Quickly moving away, he sat down, and studied the lifeless expression that was Winters.
