Asside from this guild I've barely toutched Gaia since middleschool. This has less to do with being buisey and more to do with vs. threads being banned on the AMC the day I graduated from middleschool. Quite a day that was.
So I've been snooping arround the Game FAQ Marvel vs. Capcom 3 boards and it has unsurprisingly turned into a breeding ground for vs. arguments. Most of it's about as high brow as you'd expect. There even seems to be a Superman vs. Goku argument going on...in a Marvel vs. Capcom board.

The only reason why they were banned was because they caused so much uproar and intense debate. Though you have to wonder, isn't that what discussion are supposed to be like?

It was always bogus that VS threads were banned. They lost a lot of good minds when they did that. Spam couldn't be stopped that way. We had some really convincing arguments too. Think about it, some of the best debaters trying to prove a point. I even did a number crunch on spam posts in the average VS thread against the avg "Who's your favorite Character?" thread. The VS thread had 40% less "spam" and nearly 20 times the words per post. Think about that for a second. *sigh*

Yeah They ban VS threads and give Naruto their own freaken sub forum. I stopped posting in the AMC after that they could just go kiss my a**.

Yo guys. I was reading through some old dead forums that people keep passing through and I was like "oh crap that reminds me, I hven't checked the ultimate vs. database in ages!". I use to check once a month but at some point I kinda forgot. : ( Not sure if anyone will ever read this, but I figured I'd make a post just because...well I don't really know. Because I'm feeling nastolgic I guess.

Glad to see you're alive bossman! Not to be morbid but I remember you had some serious health issues so I was kinda worried.
