Ray sat down and a bowl of macaroni and cheese appeared in front of him. "Hm, well everyone has their limits. No matter how high they are, there is always a limit." He found a spoon and started to eat it, trying to avoid eye contact. The dove flew into the kitchen but no plate of crackers to welcome it. It whistled to grab attention, when it got it, it's right eye glowed blue revealing to Cori and Ray that a thunderstorm was going to strike soon. It skipped to a scene where a building was struck and was eventually engulfed in flames along with the two neighboring houses. As the vision faded, it returned them all back into the mess hall. Ray merely cleared his throat and kept eating, wondering whether Cori would ask questions or not.

Ray grinned, "Just let me worry about it." He got up from his chair and brushed past her as he headed towards the sink to rinse out his bowl. He adjusted his glasses and whistled for the bird who flew out of the room and back into it's cage. "So, what does a girl who lives alone with two tiger cubs do around here?" He asked with sudden interest leaning back against the counter, tilting his head so the light glared his glasses making it hard to see his eyes directly.

Ray nodded. He understood what she was talking about, he was lonely too and having a free flying dove for a pet didn't exactly make it any better. "You have a garden?" he asked pushing himself off the counter. "May I see it?"

Ray looked up to see a beautiful garden. Amazed, he stumbled upon a few words and managed, "You take really good care of it." He turned to Cori and smiled openly to her for the first time.
