Elenath blushed as she thought of a certain silver haired wolf. "Um... No one in particular?" She smiled awkwardly with embarassment and then covered her blush with also an air of haughtiness.

"Besides. You? Take over the Fox? No way in hell is that possible. Foxes are conniving and secretive. Our borders fiercely protected, and thieves and assassins at every corner. You wouldn't make it a block." Elenath's eyes twinkled micheiviously.

Eabii's eyes twinkled mischieviously. "Oh come on girl. We've all seen that face before. You're sitting there hiding your dear Prince Charming when any girl with half a shred of observation can tell you're smitten to high and holy elevation. So...who is he? And where can I slip an invitation to this...menagerie of a party we'll be having?"

She patted Elenath on the back. "Shouldn't be too hard to win him with your good looks and my band of fools?"

Elenath scoffed a laugh. "The first time I met him he insinuated that I was sleeping with his brother. And yet, he still left an impression." She shook her head in exasperation. "I doubt i'd be in the mood to mingle with anyone. His name however, is Ithil Draug. Silver hair, golden eyes. He's lithe and boy does he have the most gorgeous voice." Elenath opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling. "Anyone else would only be disgusting, and listening to their drivel would only disgust me."

"But damn. He was fine. And smart. He had the countenance of a mage and... Damn. He had charm..."

"Hmm...all that now?" Eabii giggled.

"That's really a shame. And here I thought you might be half as manipulative as I am. If we were to try, we would have to pick someone not similar enough to him that he would think you were merely replacing him...and someone not so different that he gives up figuring he's not your type...someone who makes him think that he could be better for you...maybe one of our caravan guards?

Hmm...but of course...you're content to sit there and wait for him to pursue you depite his tremendous mistake. Well...don't let me interrupt your waiting. My room is in the Lute Hall...I'm sure you can find me if you desire company, but it's been a long day and I need respite."

"You know what... I do believe you are right. Do you have anyone that resembles him? I am quite the picky girl." Smiling softly, yet with a dangerous glint in her eyes, she began to plot a most devious plan.

"Ah, I should get some rest too. I wouldn't want to appear disheveled with a lack of sleep for my most daring... Second most daring day ever." Playing her mistake off she daintily stood and jaunced off. "I'll see you tomorrow!"

Eabii hip-bumped Elenath's door with heafty affection at the barely lightened hours of the wee morning. She wouldn't be too angry would she? She had a decent four and a half hours of sleep, more's a waste, eh? 'S not like classes start this week anyway, 's all chock full of those orientations and meet and greet's they make kids go to our first ten years or so. More if we can't...you know...behave in public. Eabii snorted gently. 'S good that none of the up and up's have seen her more outrageous behaviors.

-----after Elenath open's the door-----

Eabii barely notices anything Elenath bothers to say in her excitement. "Well, there are 5 wagons in our troupe. Each one has a swordsman and a mage to protect it, and obviously the mages would be halfway decent picks on account of their similarity to little Ithil. Swordsman might make him self-conscious of his smaller physique. And...I thought some of our apprentice bards might work out okay. The older bards are well...old. So...."

"Bachelor 1!" She said, extending her hand in almost violent exaggeration, much like a game show host.

'Bachelor 1, as he was called, was three or four inches taller than Elenath. As most traveling elves go, he seemed to be of peasant stock, however his blend of clan backgrounds enhanced his features in a pleasant way. He had icy blue eyes and a slightly tanned skin-tone. His hair was rebellious, a deep red with amber streaks glamoured in. Not only that, it was cut abstractly, with bangs that framed his face and long, thin strands falling down his back with the rest chunkily cropped. "Greetings, my name is Auris. I am a fire and water mage, odd, I know, but I make it work. Torching and dowsing can be fairly entertaining."

"Bachelor 2!" Eabii exclaimed in the same manner.

'Bachelor 2', was at even height with Elenath. He however, was easily noticeable as moderately nobly-lined from the Mordo Clan, having a slightly stockier build, though not impressively so, and auburn hair. His hair was braided back with a silver silken cord symbolizing his house woven through it. His eyes were a deep chocolate color and his skin also lightly tanned. "Sorry we've awoken you so early fair Lady. Eabii insisted, though I admit it's a tad early for myself as well. I am Fuyin, an Earth, Air and Fire mage, though my passion truly lies within the Earth, despite it's destructive properties, I am also known for utilizing it's gardening potential and would love to create the very first Elenath calla lily. A calla lily is beautiful and exquisite, however, most persistant to surviving."

"Bachelor 3!...Well...you get the point...."

'Bachelor 3', was an inch shorter than Elenath, and even lankier than Ithil. He was, like Ithil however, in his fair-skin and long silver hair. His eyes however, were an orange-red, making him appear a strange mix of Cath and Glarae...a mixture definately not often seen. "Good morning, I am Nevir, an air mage. Yes...just air. I find specializing focuses elemental talent. And if you take the time to know me, you'll find there's little air can do that I cannot."

'Bachelor 4', was four inches taller than Elenath, with a light acrobat's body. He was of snow leopard descent, by his firm jawline, pale coloration. His hair was a near white blonde, with a dark brown undertone and his eyes an almost frightening pale blue. "Teva, Spirit mage, hates small talk."

'Bachelor 5' was around the same height as Elenath and was casually spinning droplets of water in his hands. He had hair of the deepest blue, could be called black really, and violet eyes against a cool complexion. "Jedicu. Water mage...I'm really not good at talking to people I don't know very well...'s why I'm not a performer. Though I do occaisonally provide 'rain'"

"And now the lil Apprentice bards! Aren't they cute?" Eabii gushed.

'A-Bard 1' and two were identical in height, which would be an inch taller than Elenath, but that's where they're similarities ended. 1 was dark in complexion, a rich caramel color. His eyes were black and deep-set, framed with thick lashes. His hair was brown, with green blended in between, but rather than trashy, it gave him an ethereal effect, like he was made up of forest and night. "Gtu. My mother is the second daughter of the Mormiel Queen's youngest sister. My father, was her Fey Guardian. Bastards don't have a place in the palace, as far as the Queen is concerned, so I took my talents elsewhere. My magic is too unstable to use. However, I've learned Treesong, so the bards took me in as a valued apprentice."

The last in line, Bard 2, was so obviously a male reflection of Eabii it hurt. Granted he was several years earlier, however, with violet eyes, a clear complexion and a mass of blue curly hair, it was unmistakable. His hair however, was managed, pulled back in a pony-tail with it cut into a moderately thick line, rather than the bushy mass Eabii's usually was. "'Ullo. I'm Daoii! I know ten thousand songs and myths. Just quiz me!"
He stated energetically.

Elenath awoke quickly from her light sleep. She had been dreaming of all that had happened the previous day. Of Acharn. Of Eabii. Of Ithil Draug. And to be awoken in such an annoying and insistent manner did not exactly sit well with her.

Climbing out of her bed carefully, her foot slipping over the trip wire next to her bed about two inches off the floor. Slowly, but surely, she disarmed the traps of her room and moved to the door.

"One moment please." Despite her grogginess and anger at being awoken, she had no idea who was behind the door, and proper birth meant proper response.

Reaching into her hair she pulled out two picks and began working at the pick of her door, trying to disarm the hidden trap. And insistent bump of the door caused the jam to hit her pick and a small explosion was heard from the inside of the room. A scream of curses erupted from inside the room. "Stop that infernal banging!" Her lock was destroyed, everything burned and melded together. There was no way she could turn the knob and open it so she alltogether ripped it from the door.

The door slowly swung open to show a very irritated fox elf with a soot blackened nose staring down the group outside her door. It was... Eabii...

"What need was this exactly? To wake me up at..." Elenath turned her head and looked out her window. "The crack of dawn?"

-And so follows Eabii's dramatic introductions-

Elenath stared at Eabii in what seemed a dawning comprehension, but it was mixed with her infamous temper. "This was what was so important? Bachelors? At the break of day? You NEEDED to show me?" Sighing and rubbing her fingers through her tangled locks she shut her door.

-tick... tick... tick... the Bachelor's sweat dropped-

Inside the room banging was heard, a thud and a curse, and water running. Again the door opened and Elenath emerged, dressed and refreshed properly with slight shadows under her eyes.

"Bachelor 1 and 5 can stay for now."

Eabii waved the rest away, and they left without arguement, showing off Eabii's authority. "Aww, you cleaned your nose. I thought the black soot was a lovely touch. And I'm sure the boys thought it was super adorable." Eabii grinned and glared back at the 'boys' as if daring them to say otherwise. As soon as she turned around Auris rolled his eyes slightly. Jedicu let his eyes rake over her 'improved' appearance.

"If you don't think it's too forward, I think I did rather enjoy your more natural state. The just awoken look can only be pulled off by one of exceptional beauty such as yourself." He stated, the most words he had attempted in quite some time and it was easy to see this made him nervous.

Eabii looked at him funny. "I do believe someone has a crush..." She giggled and balanced back and forth between her heels and toes.

Jedicu merely turned and studied a tapestry of a previous headmistress on the wall next to him. Auris, not to be outdone, slid between the two ladies and offered his hand to Elenath.

"If we are to be awake at this hour, a good drink and some warm food would be welcome. If only you'd join me Ms. Rusc..." He used her clan name with cheekiness, knowing he could get away with it not being returned...her not knowing his background.

Elenath was not a subtle person. Both males were attractive, and they both seemed smart enough. Figuring it was best to get this started, she smiled at them both.

"Thank you very much but I don't think i'm quite ready enough to go into public. Five minutes please." Closing her door again, a closet door was heard opening and the rustling of clothing heard.

Once again Elenath returned, this time in a bombshell of a dress. The deep neckline and cutting curves that tapered to the bottom, the image of an inverted calla lily, showed off her voluptuous body perfectly. The dark green satiny cloth showed off her red hair, curled slightly at the ends, and her jade eyes.

Smiling at the two, she linked elbows with Auris and held her other arm out to Jedicu. "Shall we head to breakfast?"
PostPosted: Sun Feb 08, 2009 6:14 pm

Eabii looked down at her own attire, a simple red robe with a sash tied tight around her midsection and felt quite embarassed. "I'll just uh...leave you three to your getting to know each other. Pick you up in a few hours to sort out the rest of the details? Okay..." And with that she headed off dreamily for her own room to get cleaned up.

Jedicu and Auris watched her leave with mild interest but said nothing, taking up an arm each and smiling at the lovely lady between them.

"Goodness vixen, I'm not so sure I can choose now. This look, or the touseled bedhead..both are quite.." Jedicu coughed and looked down, unable to complete his sentence. At this statement Auris rolled his eyes yet again.

"I think what he means to say is that no matter what state of attire you may be in, lady, you sure do cause any man with vision to be quite -sore- if you understand my attempts at subtelty."

Elenath raised a slender brow at Eabii as she left. Eabii seemed to weave dreamily as she walked.

She was then distracted by the linking of arms with two very attractive men.

Elenath inclined her head as Jedicu spoke of her bedraggled appearance and current, citing that he didn't know which was better. She smiled at him encouragingly and from the corner of her eyes saw Auris roll his eyes. Looking over to him right as he spoke his mind made her eyes go subtley wider as her pupils dilated. She then noticed their discomfort and coughed politely behind her hand.

"Why don't we head off then?" She smiled and began to walk.

The boys were rather gracious to their lovely host in directing conversation away from unbecoming banter. Jedicu especially was mighty impressed with her training at her young age.

"Well then lady, it is you who knows this castle the best in our little contingent, where ever are we headed?" Auris asked, wanting to know more about Elenath and figured that having her take the lead would best orchestrate such, despite the fact that the troupe had performed here several times and the guards knew their way around well enough.

Jedicu nodded, but afraid to be outdone, felt the need to add to the conversation or lack there of, looked her in the cheek (not wanting to be so forward as to look at her eyes or lips) "I hear his Lord Acharn has arrived for his studies..."

-----------------------------------------

Eabii sat at her bureau and contemplate what to do with that mass of fuzz she wanted to call hair. Calling on one of her maids, she sat back and let her mind wander. Her mother was pushing her to marry Fuyin. She had to admit, he was attractive and had a good lineage, however, he quite often played the field so to speak. Many a young village girl had swayed into his tent with the promise of their own flower. Too be honest she found herself pressing more towards the two boys currently with Elenath or even Gtu. Gtu was handsome and dangerous and didn't appear to have many suitors. To be honest, if she wanted him, she'd have to snag him quick though, sooner or later a dryad might just take him away during Treesong practice. Pulled out of her reverie by a tap on her shoulder she gazed in the mirror.

Her hair had been braided in some places and then brought up slightly by a silver clasp in the shape of a lute with little gemstone accents that her father had given her in commermoration of another year of study. Soft tendrils were left out to give her a soft, fresh-faced look. Going to her closet she dug around for several minutes before settling on a lilac colored tea dress. It hung snug on her body in the places that mattered and loose in those that didn't. It had a slightly babydoll dress shape to it, with the midsection pulled in with a thin silver sash. Feeling rather pretty, she decided now would be a good time to go down to the troupe and see how plans were developing for this party.

Elenath nodded softly, looking down the hall and towards where the dining hall lay. She'd take them the long way, through the gardens, past the Draug quarters. "Very well, i'll lead." Pulling gently on their arms she guided them down the hall to their left. She would take them to her gardens first. The Rusc gardens. They were lovely and designed to keep Elenath happy. Each new princess for the Rusc clan got their own garden to suit them.

"Ah, yes Acharn. I've met him, and we've become fast friends. We had talked last night in friendly banter." Elenath smiled at the memory, and then at the added Fey language class, a small frown tugged her lips.

As they entered her garden she smiled radiantly. It was like a hanging garden, jungle-like with climbing ivy going up the walls and lillies everywhere of any kind imagineable. Their were lily of the valley, calla lily, etc. Also were some of her favorite other flowers like foxglove and dragonsnap.

"Meet my pride, I planted them myself."
PostPosted: Thu Mar 12, 2009 1:56 pm

Jedicu walked submerged in his own thoughts, careful not to find himself to entranced with this lady who was obviously of a much higher class than himself. Of course, he had been forewarned by Eabii not to acquire feelings for Elenath as it was apparent she was smitten with a prince, to whom he was no comparison. Though for now he was content for his arm to be rested upon by her petal-soft arm. He looked at her as she spoke of Acharn and noticing her frown, thought it better to drop the subject, not knowing of course the cause was more simple than the whole topic. When they reached their destination, which proved to be a lovely personal garden, he was struck by it's lavish beauty. It was apparent she had taken a considerable amount of time in preparing it, and that such a lady would take such pleasure in arranging a garden surprised him pleasantly. Such a lady would be able to find pleasure in situations others he had met would consider menial and base. Which of course showed them as boring louses.

"It's no wonder you saw through Fuyin's little seduction. His flower is pathetic in comparison, hm?"
-----------------------------------------------------

Auris slid his hand down Elenath's arm and attempted to clasp her hand instead, deciding that seeing as he wouldn't be able to keep the beautiful lady he might as well enjoy as much as he could without being intrusive.

"Friends with Acharn, goodness Lady, you sure charm everyone don't you? Though I'm sure he was as benefitted as we by your lovely company." Smiling, he looked onwards to see the garden they were entering. Hearing Jedicu, he waited for the lady's response.

"Oh, his flower was lovely enough, just not one of my favorites. And I prefer to pick flowers of my own making."

Elenath carefully knelt down to a patch of flowers near her. It was ecclectic but fit together quite nicely, the colors blending together in sweet pastels. Her hand reached out and she pucked two very close to the root, but not pulling the root out. They would grown back then.

One she weaved into Jedicu's tunic at the collar, and the other she placed carefully into Auris' hair. Jedicu's was a bright purple that emphasized the darkness of his violet eyes with its darkening petals and bright yellow center. Auris' was an orange arum lily closely resembling the bottom of her dress and highlighting the differences in his hair tones.

"The best thing about my flowers is that I had my clan gardener give me special fertilizer so that the flowers never die once plucked. You can keep those forever if you'd like."

Standing, she patted her knees, clearing the non-existant dirt away from her dress.

"Why not head to breakfast now?" Her hands slipped into theirs and she carefully tugged them in the direction of the cafe, passing quickly under Ithil's window.
