Blackpaw opened his eyes sleepily. He saw that the camp was waking up. He stretched out and started to look around camp for his mentor. She might be sleepy and we might not start training till tomarrow. Then he saw Runningleaf and Spottedpath come in with two other cats. "Who are they?" He asked running up to Runningleaf.

"Shush. That's Miststar, Leafclan leader. And a kittypet we found injured on the moor. Don't bother them. Miststar has business with Cedarstar. and we need to get that other cat to Windy quick."

"Miststar here let me take your place so you can go talk to Cedarstar." The apprentice said and took her place before she could argue. He helped lead the injured kittypet to Windy's den.

Cedarstar padded out of his den. He looked around and saw the LeafClan leader in his camp. A growl rumbled in his throat, but he then noticed she was helping another cat that looked similar to Spottedpath. He stopped his growl and watched as Miststar led the cat to the medicine burrow before returning to go talk with him. "What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I was coming here to ask you a question before I stumbled upon them." Miststar replied. "I was wondering if you too have been the victim of BoulderClan raiding on your territory."
"If doesn't matter nor is it any of your buisness. MeadowClan is not as weak as many would think." he hissed in a irritated tone.
"I was only curious, as you and I both remember what happened moons ago when BoulderClan tried before..." Miststar trailed, trying to reason with the Meadowclan leader.
"Meadowclan can handle itself without great LeafClan stepping in to the rescue. Leave MeadowClan at once!" Cedarstar yowled, with an angry flick of his tail.
Miststar's ears flattened briefly in sadness, but the emotion was quick. "If that is your wish..." she meowed and began to head towards the entrance of Meadowclan camp and back to LeafClan. Hurt was still in her eyes as she walked, that she couldn't hide. She was hoping to have MeadowClan as an ally in the upcoming war.

Blackpaw saw Miststar starting to leave and ran to Cedarstar and said, "Cedarstar, can't we see if Leaf Clan can help get Timidpaw back?"

"That's not what she meant!" Runningleaf blurted out before Miststar could leave the camp. He had already risked it so he went on."She means that what if Boulderclan tries to join forces with another clan, or use dirty tricks to steal land? She only had her friends in mind and thought it wouldn't be fair if they used dirty tricks." He knew he shouldn't have said any of that, but Miststar looked so hurt! He looked down at his feet knowing something bad would come out of it.

"He's right." Blackpaw said, "They might use Timidpaw to gain some territory and prey." The apprentice thought he saw something in they way Runningleaf defended the Leaf Clan cat, but ignored it.

Spottedpath hurried after Miststar following her into the medicine cat's den. As she went to a new patch of moss she hurried over and whispered, "It's good to see you again.
"You too, she replied in a soft tone, looking around. I hope I can walk again, I like this clan.

"Oh dear!" Windy gasped."What happened to you darling?" She inspected closer seeing just what gave her those marks."A run up with a fox then? i'll fix you right up." She dashed for her supply of marigold and hope it would stop any infection from comeing in. It looked the wound had been left for a couple of days and some poorly placed cobwebs lay on the wounds. At least the cat knew what she was doing. Odd she thought. Isn't she a kittypet?

"I'll come back later." Spottedpath mewed and went outside the den before she would have to say who she was.
Summer looked at the medicine cat hovering over her wound. "It's actually a longer story." she mewed as the young cat peeled off the cobwebs, "That would be my sister's attempt at putting cobwebs on a wound. I see you have marigold in your jaws. It's excellent for infections.

"Why yes it is. How do you know this?" She was curious about this kittypet. How could she know so much? But she shouldn't be too scepticle. Just a little while ago she was a rogue, and she knew exactly how to care for these cats. But still, being a rogue meant she had to care for herself. But being a kittypet she should only be able to be taken care of."Where do you come from Summer?" Was all she could ask.

"Well, I'm actually from a clan that burnt down long ago. It was called ThunderClan. I journeyed here with my sister Spottedpath but we were seperated as we left the Twolegplace. On my way here, I met a tribe and that taught me herbs of all sorts." Summer mewed, suprised by the question.

Cedarstar thought for a moment, his eyes narrowed to slits in thought. He didn't want, or need the help of another clan. "Do you think of yourselves as weak enough to need help from another clan? And why not give a little territory up if we can't fight for Timidpaw's return? We have enough prey for even the harshest days of leaf-bare."
Miststar stopped and listened to what the other Meadowclan cats were saying. It made her happy that she had support from other clans, especially Runningleaf.

"Oh. Well that's very interesting. My name is Windy. i'm not an actual clanborn cat, but I came to this clan in their time of need. So I can't quite criticize you for anyhting." She was surprised of talk of another clan. She didn't have a clan name."If you are clanborn, then why do they call you Summer?" She asked the questions gently, not intending to be rude.

"Miststar, did Boulder Clan take any of your cats?" the apprentice asked and turned to Cedarstar, "EVeryone, even i know that Boulder Clan won't think twice when they kil someone. I'm afraid for a clanmate." Blackpaw cpnfessed.
