Camp Rock was a disappointment. :[
anyways. did i tell you guys i'm writing a new story? ohh yeah. i did. well anyways. it's about a summer camp, and the experiences a group of kids have at that summer camp.
i can't really decide whether to write it in first person or not, but i think that might not be such a great idea, because there is NO central character, just a bunch of equal main characters.
so what do you think?
if i wrote it first person, it would probably look something like this

My alarm clock screamed me awake, and I reached over to turn it off. Missed, of course, and ended up slamming my fist on the bedside table and knocking the lamp over, but I got it on the second try. I actually got out of bed this morning, unlike every other morning where I hit the snooze button for an hour before my mom would come into my room yelling at me to turn it off. I was excited, ready for the adventure that was Thousand Meadows Christian Camp to begin.
and then every time i changed perspective i'd just put their name at the top, so you'd know who was talking.
or, i could write it in 3rd person, and i was thinking if i did that then they'd have like, camp journal entries every once in a while that were in 1st person. but i dunno. what do you guys think???

You know what I think Rach? I think you should go reply as Aidan! Haha, I just want you to so Mealanie can get off of the train! She's my last character that is on there and I just want to get her off..like really soon. Sorry to sound so rude, I don't mean to. I just want to be all caught up. :]
Third person is always the best set up if there isn't a central character. But if you'd like to do it in first person it could be done in all journal entries or something, but that's be kinda hard...But just a suggestion.
Camp Rock was a dissapointment? Well don't say anymore about it cause i still want to see it. Cause Fig's in it! Haha, I mean Nick Jonas. In my opinion Joe needs a haircut, his hair was too long in that film.

I'm just gonna start it, and you guys can post responses to whoever's up.
We're gonna start with Mattson, Johanna. then go on to Rivers, Cameron. then of course Thompson, Bailey...
Rach, is the 'Ann' part of her first name or strictly her middle name?
But I dunno if I want to go with sorting Toluk, Ayşe ... because I have no idea where Jeff is.

Oh crap, I still have to write out Cameron's sorting thing, I totally forgot about that! Thanks for reminding me Skye! I guess I should write that up tonight so I won't cause a slow down in finishing up the ceremony.
Yes, where is Jeff? We haven't heard from him in ages. I'm sure he's gotten a new computer by now...

EDIT:
yeah, when you're writing up Cameron's sorting hat scene,
just go from
"Cameron was called up to be sorted"
to
"'blah blah blah' the hat said"
to
"Cameron sat down at the Ravenclaw table"
Sorry if I'm sounding like "This is the only way to do it"
but I don't want everyone to be like "what are we supposed to post?!?!?!?!!?"
you'll see Johanna's post, and it'll be clearer.
But,
You know what I don't know...
how do the kids' robes and such change color?
When they're sorted? overnight? I'm so confused...

Cools, thanks for the help Skye! I'll write it out tonight, sort of like a base I guess for Cameron's actual post, and then read Johanna's and see if my base works. And based on Johanna's post I'll be able to tweak my base it'll work. Does that make sense? lol, I have a hard time explaining things while I'm typing.
Yea I was wondering that too...
Maybe when they're sorted? I mean I haven't watched the first movie in forever but didn't like Ron, Hermione, and Harry have Gryffindor colors once they sat down? Man, I'd check to see but our VHS player broke and I don't have it on dvd.
Wouldn't it make better sense like as soon as the sorting hat yells out what house they're in their robes and such will magically change to their house's color? Cause then they'd go like a few hours of being in their unchanged (and boring black, white, and gray) robes and such. Plus, everything is magical (Well not everything) but do you get what I'm saying!
GAH Why I am having such a hard time explaining this??
Basically what I'm trying to say is that it's make more sense if their robes and such changed to their houses color as soon as the hat yells out what house their in. Because it kind of needs to be like that because the prefects and such bring them to their common room, right? And the prefects won't be able to tell who are the new first years in their house if their robes aren't the correct colors.
Also, are there going to be any prefects and head boys/girls?
EDIT: That's too cool! Yea, they do look like the same dress! Why is your head turned? We want to see your pretty face too!

You have pretty eyes, mine are a boring brown color.
And omg you have braces? I had them but I got them off a year ago. I wore them for 3 and a half years because my back molars were retarded and wouldn't grow in fast enough. :[
So have we come to a decision on when the robes change color? Cause I kinda want to add that in Cameron's sorting post if it ends up being the way I explained above.
I'm boooooored and the stupid time warner guy had no idea how to make the internet actually work or anything. So I'm still stuck buming off of an usecure wireless network...

I don't think I've ever posted in here so much.
Random moment: I really want to go shopping!!! :[ I was suppossed to go shopping with my grandma and uncle yesterday but the time warner guy was an idiot and he took absolutely all day. And he was late too!
Guys have any suggestions on what I should buy? Since we couldn't go shopping they gave me some birthday money.
I wish I had the camera plug so I can show you guys a more recent picture of me buuut I don't. The one on my profile is pretty old. I think I took it back in January...

Okay, so watching Camp Rock,
I was amazed by how much Disney can set up emotion,
but whether it's the actors or the situation,
they don't really catch the emotion.
If that makes any sense.
This may be better:
If you can tell they're acting, they're not doing a very good job,
and it's really not that hard to fake cry.
I saw not one tear.
But I did see that beautiful boy, Nick Jonas.

OMG YOU GUYS!
i was thinking the same thing...like with the robes. i didn't notice whether they had really chosen to distinguish the houses so much in the movies with the robes in the 1st one. i can't remember...if you still need someone to check it out i can :]
so, what's the decision?
oh, and yeah. sorry i haven't been around much. i'll go work on my sorting hat post : D
does anyone know when nat's supposed to be back? i forgot... :[

oh, and Ann is her middle name. I know it's not that original, but the story is that it was her grandmother's name or something. Someone in her family who was important enough to her parents but didn't have a very original mind picked it. I just may change it to Annabelle or something, but she'll hate that so she'll tell people it's just Ann. :] i dunno...
