Ray hesitantly entered the camp, "Ray..." He replied after casually eyeing around the house before turning to her to give his full name. "Ray Tomoshibi."

"Nice to meet you Ray!" Celestia said, smiling. "What are your powers, may I ask? Mine are telekinesis, and control of sapphire lightning and hellfire... I also have Kaelas and Kaitien, my friends..." As she said this the two gigantic cubs walked up behind her, towering over her 5' 4" body.

Ray's bird flew in observing the place too. "Uhm.. I can control white and blue lightning, basically absorbing it and shooting it back out, and I can create it too, I suppose. I haven't actually tried." He whistled a bird call and the dove flew back to him. "I guess this is my friend too. He can sense when thunderstorms will come and predict lightning..." Ray fell into an awkward silence then added,"... he likes crackers."

Suddenly a plate of crackers appeared on the table next to Ray, and Cori giggled. "This place creates whatever food a person or animal is craving at the time. I guess the bird is hungry!" she said, smiling and holding out a cracker for the bird. Then a pile of meat appeared next to Kaelas and the kitten snorted, glaring at his brother. Kaitien smirked, and ate the meat without making a noise, or a mess.

The bird flew around in circles not sure whether to snatch it or land. Eventually it landed on Cori's hand pecked the crackers to bits eating every crumb. Ray grinned looking at the cats, "This is a nice place." He took one of the dove's crackers and took a nibble. "Does it... cost anything?"

"Nope, unless you count your time and effort as a cost..." Cori said. "The rules are you have to keep your cabin somewhat clean, and you have to practice at least five times a week on the practice courts." She then smiled and turned. "I'll lead you to your new cabin. You'll stay there while you are here, and when you've learned to control your powers you can either stay or go back into the world as a 'normal' person." She headed out of the main house, and led Ray to a cabin right next to it. "Let me know if you need anything at all. The cabins are enchanted to make you more clothes should you need them, as well."

"I had to ask..." Ray mumbled. "Alright. Thanks." He sat down on the bed and looked out the window that outlooked town. "Who'd want to go back?" The dove flew in and landed on the window sill. "Any storms tonight?" He asked the dove, but it just twittered and tilted it's head.

Cori headed back to the main house, where she stayed, smiling at Ray. She realized she had not shown him where the practice fields were, but decided to show him the next day.

Early in the morning, Ray left the cabin after making his bed to explore the camp a bit before heading into town. The bird flew around the camp and in and out of the main house, occasionally to the kitchen to get a cracker or two.

Cori was up extremely early, and already on the practice field, playing tag with Kaelas and Kaitien. She was it, and the cats were running full-speed away from her. She was fast for a 'human', and caught Kaetien within five minutes. Immediately she turned on her heel, and raced through the trees next to the practice field, trying to hide from the over-sized kitten.

Ray came back with a birdcage and placed it on the window sill, he broke off the tiny door so the bird could come and go, and reformed it to hold crackers for the bird. He went to the kitchen and a plate of crackers sat there waiting for him and a glass of water. He drank the water and placed the glass and the plate into the sink. He put the crackers in the cage before heading out onto the practice field. Not really knowing the full length of his powers, he sat cross legged on the grass and flicked his thump up like lighting a match and a discharge was seen which he immediatly used to create a ball of energy. He tossed it from hand to hand and chucked it at the targets he'd seen early.

Cori finally emerged from the forest with Kaitien and Kaelas, sweating, and saw Ray throwing energy balls at the targets. She smiled, then headed for the mess hall.

Ray kept throwing the balls until he couldn't conduct any more, by then the sun was about to set. He walked back to the house and headed for the mess hall as well. "Well, at least now i know i've got a limit.." He mumbled to himself. He looked up and saw Cori and her cats in the mess hall too. "Evening." He greeted.

"Evening..." Cori replied, smiling. Kaelas and Kaitien grinned their kitten grins, then returned to devouring a gigntic pile of raw meat. Cori was eating a ham and cheese omelette, with hash browns on the side. "You have a nice energy ball. I'm surprised that you ran out of energy, though." Cori admitted, blushing.
