He shook his head. "And I fail to see why you would need these answers." He retorted with a snort. "But if you must know, when I was nine after my mother's death he used me to get the village that killed her to lower their guard and when the sun went down he snuck in and killed everyone, even after my mother asked us to leave the village in peace. And fifteen years later, I had fallen in love with a hunter's sister, he asked me to bring her to meet him so I did, and he merely had her thrown in the castle dungeon and used her as bait. He then proceeded to kill them both, and that night is the first time I killed my own father." He replied trying to quell the new rage that rose with the memories. "Are you satisfied now?"

"Indeed." Passing her hand over the glass, an exact copy is suddenly next to it. She rises to her feet slowly. Rawlin then holds a glass out to each man. She doesn't expect much protest from Adrian. "After you both drink, I shall take you to retrieve the necklace." She will get oaths from them both, but only after they have consumed the brew.

Vlad quickly drinks down the cup and places it in the sink he looks back at her. "What was in the cup darling?" He asked softly as he looked at her.
Adrian looks at the cup and watching his father drink from it he deemed it semi-safe and drinks down his cup as well.

She waves her hand, sending Adrian's cup safely to rest in the sink. A small smile tugs at Rawlin's lips. "My brew. Neither of you will be able to produce children with anyone for the next four to eight days. A small price to be paid, I think." She eyes them both for a moment. "I will have oaths from you both now. That you will tell none what I am or of my hoard. That you will take nothing from my hoard without my permission. No matter what."

Both men nod in agreement and swear oaths to say nothing nor to take anything from the dragon's hoard. The necklace being the only thing Adrian needs anyway. "I understand the oath but why the brew?" He asked.

Rawlin can't help but laugh softly. "You shall see, but yours has an added reason." Honey brown eyes watch him. She knows he has probably already risked danger. "This way, if you do produce a child with your love, it will be after all traces of the matron have left her." Her eyes shift to red, pupils becoming reptilian slits. "Are you both ready then?"

Both men nod that they are indeed ready. Adrian shakes his head softly. "I fear it may be too late for that, even so if not why is it so important that LiN and I not have children for the next four to eight days if the matron is out of her body this night?"

Dragon's eyes glare at the dhampir. "Some of the matron will linger, leaving LiNeeerafae more slowly. The baby would be tainted with her genetics. You do not want that. None of us do. It the error has already been made, your mate knows how to correct. Now, we go." She grabs them firmly. She teleports them to several locations over several planes of existence before coming to a stop within her hoard. Her hoard consists of ten very large connected caverns. Hands dropping from the two men, she falls to her knees, eyes unfocused. Bringing others with her is very draining. She places her hands down upon golden coins. The feel is comforting, but not enough. "Vlad.." Her voice is soft and breathy. "Take Adrian to the cavern three over... The necklace is there."

They move quickly and silently throughout the hoard. Finding the necklace he takes it into his hands with a smile. They return to the dragon and bending down he places a soft kiss upon her cheek. "You have my eternal graditude Rawlin, and I believe with all my heart that for once my father is not using the one he says he loves."
He gently lifts Rawlin up into his arms and kisses her softly. "You have drained yourself quietly profusely my dear, perhaps we should think about putting you to bed once we return to your apartment." He said softly as they waited for the she-dragon to catch her breath.

Rawlin can feel two of the "artifacts" in her hoard calling to her. It is nearly more than she can bear. In a cavern to their left is where the "artifacts" lie. Encased in a spell which has them frozen in time. An egg of red and purple. A basinet. Both are surrounded in a pale yellow light. She buries her face against Vlad. "A moment. I need a moment."
