"Now, now dear, don't cry." Windy went up beside her, trying to give her comfort."Don't worry." She didn't know what to say. She cooed to her trying to calm her down."Come dear, let's go get that moss ourselves. We'll save Blackpaw the trouble." She started out of the den looking back to see if Summerpaw was following. She padded out of the camp."Do you know where we can find it dear?" She said in a soothing tone.

Summerpaw pushed the memory out of her mind and followed Windy. She rarely talked about her sister's kit dying. "I'm comming!" she mewed as she caught up quickly.
((Off to the outside camp!))

Windy padded into the clearing and looked up. She hadn't know how late it was. She then felt the fatigue that must had just revealed itself now. She went to her den and settled in her nest and was instantly asleep.

Windstorm padded into the clearing, glowing with pride. She looked around trying to see where Cedarstar was. When she didn't find him she padded quietly to her now official den. She breathed in the pungent smell of herbs, her tools now. She went to her nest of moss, the one that she would sleep in every night for the rest of her life. She smiled, she now had an aprentice and she was now depended on by this band of cats. She couldn't be happier.

Summerpaw followed Windstorm to her new den. She almost instantly fell asleep in the bed of moss and bracken. Now I'm officially a medicine cat apprentice. she thought before falling asleep truly.
Spottedpath slept soundly that night. She opened her eyes and padded outside to look a he blazing glory of Silverpelt. There was a star that was blazing more than usual. I wonder what that could mean? she thought as she went back inside the warrior den. In a couple moons Leaf-fall would begin, bringing cooler temperatures and less prey. That's whe more stress would be put on hunting patrols.

Completely out of breath but still running as quickly as he could, Moonpaw bolted into the camp. He looked for Cedarstar with wild eyes, yowling loudly and running from place to place. He was desperate, and he was in shock from what he had seen to be acting calm.
“Help! Help! Badgers! They got Cloudcreek! Please help!” he cried.

Spottedpath looked at Moonpaw. "WHAT?" she mewed, hurring over to the worried apprentence's side. "What happened?" she mewed in a softer tone, lowering her head to look into Moonpaw's eyes.

"Cloudcreek heard something, so we went to see what it was. It's my fault they saw us! I didn't know they were there! They caught him! If we don't hurry, he might...we just have to go now!" he cried, his voice desperate.

Cedarstar rushed out of his den. "Badgers? In our territory?" he growled, eyes narrowed at the apprentice. "Come Spottedpath." He turned to leave. "Lead the way, Moonpaw."

Moonpaw led the way into camp, his head down and his tail dragging in the dust.

Cedarstar carefully dropped the warrior's body in front of Highstump and fixed the cat into a peaceful position. "See to Moonpaw's wounds!" he called loudly, for the medicine cat and apprentice to come and help. The sun was still high in the sky, and it would be hours before the ceremony took place to honor the dead cat. He nudged Cloudcreek into the shade, and could feel tears in his eyes. The cat was a loyal warrior, and a good mentor. He turned to Moonpaw and felt bad for the apprentice. This was a bad blow to him, as well as the whole clan. With an apprentice already captive and too few warriors the clan wasn't in the best position to defend itself against BoulderClan.

"I'm fine. I want to stay with Cloudcreek," Moonpaw said, his voice soft as he pressed his nose into the tom's cold fur, allowing the held-back tears to finally flow as he shook with sobs.

Summerpaw woke with a start. "Windstorm! wake up!" she mewed as she rushed to Moonpaw's side. Okay, Marigold for possible infection and cobwebs for bleeding. Oh! and poppy seed for depression "Moonpaw, please come here. We can't tend to your wounds out there." she mewed sweetly, feeling for the young apprentice. "And I have a story that may just cheer you up." she added on, walking out and pushing her muzzle into Moonpaw's neck.
