When the world was young, four races emerged. As fate would have it, these four races appeared only a short distance from each other. As the races grew and began to explore on their own, they discovered more about the land around them, including the other three races. Unfriendly to these strange races, the four began to war amongst themselves. Their entire existence soon revolved around training to battle against each other, each race trying to wipe the other three out before being wiped out themselves.

War reigned for generations until the four races remembered little more than war. The world outside of their little area was forgotten and all that mattered was fighting. This life continued until fighters began to fall ill. A strange illness spread its way through the four races. Each, if left alone, would've soon been wiped out if it hadn't been for the bravery of the healers to gather together under a flag of truce to try and save themselves. The four races' knowledge, when brought together, saved many that would've died otherwise.

The four races entered a state of tolerance and peace. They realized, after enduring the illness, that together they could become greater. Overtime, their tolerance turned into friendship and the four races began to live together in communities across the lands that they had once fought over. As they strengthened, the races began to turn their gaze outwards upon the lands they'd once explored. Their knowledge of those lands had been lost in what was now called the Time of Darkness.

As the four races begin to explore, what will they find? Only time will tell.
