There is a Japanese Legend that if you fold 1,000 paper cranes your wish will be granted.

A young girl named Sadako Sasaki was told of that legend.
Having luekemia from the Atomic Bomb Sadako was loosing hope very quickly. She started folding. She surpassed her goal of 1,000 paper cranes but sadly passed away. Sadako Sasaki became the peace child and will remain a symbol of what war can do. You can find a statue of her in Seattle Washington as well as Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima Japan.



Just because our ansestors were blind to the damage does not mean we have to be.

"One grain of rice can tip the scale, on man may be the difference between victiory and defete." I heard that on Mulan. Maybe all of us can make sense of that.
