The ShinRa Company harvests an energy source called 'Makou'. Processed and made into products known as Materia and electricity, these materials can work miracles, granting people a better lifestyle and a more comfortable work place. We have expanded all across the globe and have even put down the famous Wutai and Desert Rebellions.

It's not to say that we've limited ourselves to just Materia and energy. We've expidited digs for archaelogicial schools. We've built homes and villages - as well as fund, employ and power most of them. We've built weapons, aerocraft, boats, cars and even space ships.

Under the President ShinRa, we've done nothing but prosper.

Although we've done nothing but help our fellow man, there has been a few exceptions to our rule. Amidst our competent following, there is the movement of Condor, AVALANCHE and even remenants of Wutai and Cosmo Canyon forces that wish to usurp our power.

In order to keep the peace that we've so dutifully established, we need your help. Please join the military and help keep the peace.
