This guild was made for dedicated roleplayers. Roleplayers that respect others. Roleplayers that don't randomly join and leave roleplaying threads. Roleplayers that have a decent amount of literacy. We don't demand perfection, but we'd like to make sense of your posts.
The Sacred Laws (rules) are as follows

Ж Follow Gaia ToS and basic rules! (duh!)
Ж Be Semi-literate or more improved. Any illiteracy WILL NOT be tolerated in Exire.
Ж The ancient, Sacred Laws of Exire are clear and precedented...and they leave no room for ambiguity or discussion. Loophole abuse will be dealt with swiftly and severely.
Ж When starting a thread or topic, the header or title MUST have a rating, (like ESRB game ratings, or Television ratings), stating the maximum level of adult topics discussed or allowed in that thread. Any subject matter over the rating in the title will be deleted, and proper disciplinary action will be taken. This can include being banished from Exire.
Ж The highest rating allowed is "R", for "Restricted." This means that nudity may be mentioned, but nothing beyond. Anything further will have to be taken care of via an outside source, or PM.
Ж Be respectful and courteous to other members and (especially!) crewmembers and the Captain. Every citizen of Exire has a right to an opinion, and a right to voice that opinion, and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is not only tolerable, but smiled upon. However, do not abuse this freedom.
Ж Guild Crew members are here to deal with intraguild relations and issues. Please report any concerns to them, not Gaian Mods. Moderators have 0 interference potential in Guilds, unless ToS violations are abundant or particularly severe. And it annoys them.
Ж If you wish a friend or acquaintance to join the guild, please PM a Crew Member [preferably the Captain or Vice Capt. (hereafter referred to as Executive Officer)], and tell them you approve of your friend's abilities. This acts as a referral, and, pending examination of RP skills, will greatly increase their chances of being accepted.
Ж Background checks will be made for every potential member, though the criteria will be
less severe for referred applicants.
Ж Be advised The Executive Officer has all potential abilities of the Captain, and has the authority to exercise those powers. The Exec is here for redundancy. He is approachable with all problems the Captain would have to deal with.
Ж We will scrutinize everything possible with unwavering stoicism. Favoritism will not be displayed or tolerated by any crewmember, and leniency should not be expected upon being caught breaking one of the these Sacred Laws. We realize things will happen which we will miss...but don't count on this to protect you. Eventually, someone will notice the breach of protocol.
Ж We reserve the right to uphold the Laws and pass summary judgment after-the-fact.
Ж Swearing is acceptable, to a degree. It is only acceptable as character-development dialogue or monologue. No, or very mild, swearing in OOC will be tolerated. If someone in a thread/topic requests the swearing be stopped, that request WILL be honored. In this event, all swearing must be edited, either by changing it or replacing letters with symbols. No overly-grotesque or vulgar swearing will be tolerated at all.
Ж Because Exire is a literate community, with advanced educational facilities, illiteracy and one-liners are frowned upon. Writer's block happens to the best of us, but if it happens excessively, demotions or other proper disciplinary action will be taken. This can include being banished from Exire, if it truly gets out of hand. If you notice a member excessively displaying illiteracy or writer's block, report him/her.
Ж Exire is an oligarchy. The Captain and Executive Officer are in charge, period. Their word is law, as long as it does not violate Gaian ToS. Their decisions are final, with no room for argument or challenge.
