Bleach: Brink of War

Everything takes place approximately 5200 years after the events of the Winter War. Balance has been restored and the worlds are currently in a state of rehabilitation. The Shinigami have started to rebuild their homes and buildings, trying to keep in mind they have come out victorious, though the devastation and destruction seem to be overwhelming the positives of the war. All but a few unseated and seated shinigami have survived. Only selected few have taken the places of the original vices and captains where they have failed. Without realizing the ever-growing cracks which lie at the very foundation of their lives, many Shinigami have gone AWOL or have been sent into Exile because of their deeds in this time. These Shinigami have begun to regroup and traverse the globe, seen and unseen. The 1st Division Captain has ordered an immediate wrangling up of any stray Shinigami so they may be imprisoned and dealt with. Some ex-Shinigami have been attempting to merge with their inner Hollow to become Vizards, however the majority who have made the attempt have failed. This is the fear of the Shinigami.
The Arrancar as the rebellious beings they are have begun to disperse across Hueco Mundo and the World, as some try to escape memories of the tyranny of their old master's regime, and begin to set up their own hierarchy across the desert. The Espada, would slowly began to grow lazier and lazier with no heading but to keep their subordinates under control, are slowly toiling away in their compounds, each of which have been resurrected by the Hyougyouku before it was destroyed. Anarchy had never ceased growing since.....that is until Hollow King made his appearance. By exercising his great strength amongst Hueco Mundo, the Hollow King has managed to created a new Hierarchy consisting of a superior race of Hollow. By sorting out the weak from the strong, the power of the newly forged Hueco Mundo now holds guidance. It's intentions yet to be revealed.
The Quincy have grown, the members of their kind being seen more and more across Karakura Town as well as the world as a whole. History repeats itself. The rise has been due to a powerful and noble group of Quincy. Their primary base being located in the Karakura Hospital, they have begun to train in the basement and work in the hospital, as well as begin to form a sort of Vendetta Front in order to defeat the Arrancar themselves so they could avenge their own who had died prior to the more organized formation. As a result the four great houses, also known as the Shisei, has risen. These are known as the true Quincy, and they are majority responsible for the safety of the town of Karakura. Like all quincy, they are responsible for the extermination of any hollows located in the world of the living, however these very same quincy also hold disdain towards the shinigami because of past scars.
Above what you've read is the setting of the story. However Brink of War's main story is one that involves every single member and their characters, who's plots are joint in to create mass storyline. Every single member's character holds the potential to bring direct change to the direction of the storyline whether or not its for the good or for the worst based on the decisions the make.
☺Rules of the Game☻
1. The Basic rule of conduct. - Respect your fellow players. Just because their opinion differs from yours does not mean you can ignite a flame war against them. Should you and another player get into a disagreement about something, and it so happens to spill into the rp itself, the consequences will be most dire.
2. Please be literate. - If I lost you at literate, it means to check your spelling and try not to sound like a baby crack monkey playing with it's first keyboard. Further more, anything below 4 lines will not be accepted. That means, if I see any 1-3 liners, I WILL DELETE THEM. The reason I say this is because, honestly, it's a forum RP people, you can't say you don't have anytime to think out your posts. If you ask, we are willing to help you. This rule does have some exceptions to it, such as exits(WITH-IN REASON) for one, but we encourage literacy here, so please attempt to put in some effort, even if it is just an exit.
3. Offensive language. This rule is able to be bent a little. So long as you keep it down to a minimum. If this rule is out right broken, you will be banned. It's a forum RP people, don't tell me you don't have time to step away from the keyboard and take a breather. This rule applies just as much to OOC as it does to IC.
4. No Cybering. - See Gaia's ToS
5. Story Manipulation. - One of the things we encourage most here is coming up with your own plots for the rp. We absolutely love it when players can come up with a plot and try and move it across the guild, but you have to remember that when you create a plot, it must involve as many people as possible.
6. Emodrama. - What goes on in your life, good or bad, is to be kept to yourself. Do NOT bring your life into this guild. The only time I want to hear anything about your life is if you are going on hiatus from the guild. You will be banned without question if you break this rule.
7. No godmodding or powergaming. - We encourage creativity in our guild, but you have to keep a straight head on your shoulders when you go into a battle. Do not assume that you can pull off some brand new ability and get away clean with it. If your profile cannot back up what you are attempting to pull, we will administer heavy consequences. No one likes a power gamer or a god moder, so take hits appropriately and play according to your characters limits.
8. Puppeteering. - You cannot manipulate anybody's character, we strongly forbid that. Anyone found guilty will be banned.
9. Metaplaying. - Basically your character doesn't know everything. Possessing out of character knowledge is prohibited.
10. You got OOC in my IC. - Should any player at all find something wrong with another players post, such as in a battle, take it up with them DIRECTLY in pm. Should the problem become unresolved in pm, forward the issue and the pm's to a captain and we will pass a judgment on the matter from there. Please remember this well, there is no such thing as a happy compromise. In order to get something of what you want, you must be willing to give.
Common Sense Rules
Over the years I have noticed that people have a profound lack of Common sense, or simply just choose to not use it when coming to Rp. So to take care of this problem and future headaches, I am going to put up a few rules that everyone should already know about, but just seem unable to mentally grasp. (you know who you are.)
1. Character Limits - This is a big one to me. You see, you cannot be a Genin and have powers comparative to a Jounin. You cannot be a ranked 5th shinigami with Captain level skill. You cannot be some upstart Keybearer with the final drive form. You get where I am going with this yet? Play to your character limits not to your rp limits.
2. Bad Grammar - Typos are one thing, poor sentence structure is more then quiet another. They have so many programs out there to fix all these things that it unnerves me when I see such poor spelling and grammar. Got a typo issue? Get fire fox, it has a built in spell checker. Bad sentence structure? READ IT BACK TO YOURSELF. If it sounds off as you are reading it back to yourself, then there is a good chance it will sound off to other people when they are reading it. Type as you should, not as you speak. EMBRACE THE COMMA!
3. The Dividing Line - This is the biggest annoyance of them all so listen up. This is something of an expansion of emo-drama, but more personal. I am talking about the dividing line between YOUR feelings and your CHARACTER'S feelings. Say if this one person's character is an a**, it does not mean they are. Hell for all you know they are Saint John the Baptist. Do not assume to know others based on how they act while in character, that's why we call it IN CHARACTER. Yes, people like to make characters based on themselves, but there has to be a DIVIDING LINE. Just because your character gets insulted for whatever reason, does not mean you should. If, for whatever retarded reason, you do get offended by someone insulting your character, go whine on Live Journal and My-space, I wont take that s**t here.
4. Ideas and Property- Respect other people's ideas and property. If someone came up with something unique in their profile such as a group, clan, organization, or anything 'original', ask for permission first from that person and give credit where it is do when given consent. This goes for stealing ideas from the guild format and concept itself as well and bringing it to your own guild as if anyone wouldn't notice it. Ideas are what distinguishes guilds from one another, without them they would all wound up looking the same. People consider this an art when taking time to write and brainstorm these things, show respect where it is do and do not take anything that doesn't belong to you.
5. He say She say. - If there's something you want to know from someone, respectfully take it up with that person in p.m's. Spreading rumors or taking rumors from someone and running with it will only bring forth unneeded drama. Remember, you are only responsible for what you say or what you believe and how you run with it. It is not anyone's responsibility to tell you what is true and what is false.
