Welcome to Tretera!
Metamorphose is a modern/semi-futuristic world with humans, elves, angels, werewolves, vampires and other races living together on one known continent. Metas are a newly created species after humans nearly decimated the mythical races in a great war that ended 80 years before the start of the rp. Metas are like mythical races in looks but their powers come from an item they absorb into their soul.
Twenty years after metas were created they have now spread throughout Tretera. Many join meta groups to fight humans for their rights when humans and mythical races refused to acknowledge them and instead attempted to use them as super weapons or slaves.
Others metas ended up fighting alongside humans against rouge metas or experimental monsters spawned from research companies.
While a majority try to live as best they can, work, go to school, find love or make a name for themselves in the few cities that do protect their kind.
