Intro


Off of the beaten path, the highways of the United States, sits a city huddled in a crease in the mountains. Rain lashes the streets more often than not, brought on by the ocean to the north, just over the mountains.

The city is just like any others; clogged streets filled with traffic, nice small suburbs, bustling office buildings that gouge the sky with their great height.

This is The City.

What It Is


The City is a place for business owners on Gaia to gather and run their businesses all in one place. There with be a school, a bar or two, some office buildings, apartements, and all the things that make up cities. Roleplayers will come to roleplay in the city, setting up places to live, places to work, and lead full lives all in this guild, without the need to jump scan the already clogged Gaia forums.

Rules


Some basic rules to follow are stated below. More rules, as created by those who run their threads, will be inside each thread.

1. Follow the Gaia Terms of Service

2. Keep everything at a PG-14 level. This includes violence, sex, and language.

3. Flaming will result in a warning, followed by a banning from the guild.

4. Keep your characters within reason. That means no flying-fire-breathing-lightsaber-wielding-dwarven-samurai-alternate-reality-TV-show characters. Races different from humans are acceptable, but keep it as real as possible, please. This is not a vampire haven.

5. What you do effects the city around you. Keep that in mind when you make your choices. Breaking into a bank will result in the police knocking on your door, or at least an investigation to find out who did it.

6. No Godmodding! This is a big no-no. You get two warnings, then a ban from the guild.
