I was- I have to admit- a bit amused when the air tribe, who's known for it's-to be blunt- weakness. A note was sent to us saying that they were to attack if we didn't surrender. Sure we would be ready, we are a great tribe!
I laughed but decided that this would be the perfect time to use our new, secret weapon; the sturdy, and not to mention beautiful, pitchfork- the water tribe called them something else. Everything was going great at first until a few days later the water tribe arrived.
It was possibly the second- or third?- day of battle. They were weak and we were winning. Their weapons were not great but they were sturdy enough. Though they weren't a match for ours! Then on that second day the water tribe, Fydan Agua, came in and that threw us off. They had new weapons too! They had a staff, its orb filled with magic 'goo'. How sad our tribe was. To nearly lose. We were evenly matched with them but they even had the air tribe, though they were thinning. Finally most of the air people were lost. The water tribe saved some children, though.
We had many people join our troupes to fight those water people! They too, had people join them, though. My tribe and the Water tribe seemed to be the strongest though, because every tribe joined and thinned to only children and few men and women; Enough to get more children but not start a new tribe, or at least not soon. Not any time soon.
Now, even after a whole month of healers trying to heal the soldiers, many are still wounded. And not mild wounds, big, hurt wounds! But most will heal, if in time. Sadly a few of our best guys are lost forever. Families are sad and so are the friends of soldiers. I hope some may heal.
But now, I fear that those- those dogs!- the water tribe- are planning something an attack? I must find out.

Exact date unknown, year 2000
Dylan stretched out, his eyes looking over everything in his hut. It had been five years since the war. It was bad, he remembered sadly. He'd lost friends and family. He knew it had caused his people great hurt and it had caused whole tribes to lose everything, everyone. Sadly he turned him self over to look at his 'ceiling'.
"Hurry!" A healer, who was almost in tears, yelled. "Hurry, hurry. Please!" She was small and slightly pudgy and she had small legs. And more than once, she nearly tripped running. Dylan hurried be side her until they reached her hut. Pots were laid out everywhere. "What is it?" Dylan asked frowning. He saw nothing out of the usual.
"Aleve," the healer meant the small girl, about five or so, that she fostered. The girl was a heaven's child. They were already going extinct so they were lucky to have her. "She just disappeared." She paused to look at Dylan. "She was helping me with my pots. I asked her to finish polishing it but it kind of..." She paused looking at here feet. Dylan would think she was nuts! "...kind of sucked her in and it was gone after a flash of light."
Dylan nodded. "Tell all the parents to meet me tomorrow at the council house to discuss this."
"Yes, sir." She nodded before leaving.
Dylan wandered back to his hut. He thought about this. He was smart so he calculated out everything. He decided, after many hours, that this was a special pot that took them to distant planets. Some tribes were known for using them during times of distress and to protect the children. He calculated that it had sent them to a planet and that, if he was lucky they could still contact the kids if something happened.
The meeting came and Dylan took the stand. "It has come to my attention that we can take the children to a new planet to keep them safe. You and I both know that the Fydan Agua tribe has been teetering on attacking us. This may be the only way to keep your children safe." He explained the details to every one of the parents there and two of Elaine's spies. "Now take your children to me and the healer all of the kids born during and after the war."
"Didja hear that?" The first spy said. He poked his partner. "Less go!"
"Beg to report, miss." The second spy said as they reached Elaine.
"Yes, and be quick."
"Well they've found a way to transport the kids- born during and after the war to a different planet, miss!" The first spy said.
"Who the Vena Feu?"
"Yes, miss." The second spy said. The first spy finish explaining what he had heard Dylan say.
"We must send all our children to that planet. They would kill our children if we didn't!" Elaine said. "Tell all the parents our plan and tell them to meet the healer and me today." She said walking to the healer's hut and telling her that Moravia, her earth foster child, was to be the first to go-besides Aleve.
Now, the tribes are sending all the children they can; Earth, Water, Fire, and the likes to Gaia. Of course they won't get them all but they hope to get a few!
