For those who were curious, the word Mariposa means butterfly in Spanish. You can find out why it was chosen as our mascot by visiting the Guild Facts sticky inside!If you're interested in joining our guild, we have a few requirements that we have to ask that you follow. They are listed below. Please read them carefully before you make your decision.
You must be a girl to join this guild. We do allow transgendered, both female to male and male to female, to join, so don't be shy about that. We would prefer it if you had a female avatar, as well, simply to keep everyone at ease, but it's alright if you have a male avatar. Sorry, no boys allowed!You must be literate to join this guild. That does not mean you have to have perfect grammar or spelling, but it does mean that we have to be able to read what you are typing without having to struggle. A little internet slang here and there is okay; typing like a three year old is not.You must be willing to participate. Please do not join our guild if you're never going to come back, or if you don't really have the time. We are looking for active members who can post at least a few times a month, preferably more.You must be willing to obey safe space. In other words, take the drama outside. That means knowing when a conversation is getting out of hand, either because someone is getting uncomfortable or because it's crossed a line. This guild is meant to bring girls together in a unique bond of sisterhood. We don't want any catfights. If you have a disagreement with another member, feel free to contact one of the mods.You must obey the ToS. We love the TOS. The TOS loves us. The TOS protects us, and thus, we will report those who break our beloved TOS. So don't do it, or you are going to get your a** handed to you.In your join request, please explain why you want to join. We won't accept you if you just leave your join request blank.
