As a player, your purposes will be determined by your choices in the world. Choices result in actions, and actions result in consequences. The nature of these consequences will be determined by the nature of your choices, so please choose wisely.

As you journey through the world of Escape.net, you will ecounter towns and cities which consist of shops and marketplaces. Places such as these are owned by other users who charge gold in exchange for items and services. Gold is the official currency of this online world, and can be earned through accomplishing jobs, or completing quests.

Quests are a favored form of income among most users. Quests will appear at random intervals throughout the course of your stay, requesting for items recovered or services rendered. Accomplishing said quests may require skills such as weapon weilding and basic combat. But, should the quests be completed (which may or may not be the case), skills used may have the opportunity to improve.

As you travel across the wide variety of simulated terrains within the borders of Escape.net's realms, you will encounter many strange beings and persons of many different races, sizes and colors. Please remember to distribute trust at your own risk, and always be respectful of other player and non-player characters as your relationships with them may determine your overall success within the game.
