One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them
One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where shadows lie

This is an RPing community based off of Lord of the Rings. Members with be able to visit places from Mirkwood to Gondor and many other places. Members will have there very own life in Middle-earth. Also for those who wish to RP not related to Lord of the Rings there will be a subforum for that.

To join you have to come up with a character and the race they are going to be. Then you must make a background for your character and then give a sample RP relating to Lord of the Rings. This is not a hard task. (If you choose to be a man you can be either on the good side or the evil.)

Here is a list of what you can be and a description of them

Hobbit: This information is what Tolkien pictured a hobbit to be.
Hobbits are fattish in the stomach, shortish in the leg. A round, jovial face; ears only slightly pointed and 'elvish'; hair short and curling (brown). The feet from the ankles down, covered with brown hairy fur. Clothing: green velvet breeches; red or yellow waistcoat; brown or green jacket; gold (or brass) buttons; a dark green hood and cloak (belonging to a dwarf).

Elves: They are taller and more slender than humans. Elves are described as generally being wiser and more attractive than humans. The increased wisdom may in part be due to their long lives. They also have more of a talent in areas such as singing and other crafts. Some of their crafts are considered by other races to be magic. Elves were not prone to disease and did not grow old. They could die through accident or injury but not through what we would refer to as natural causes.

Dwarves: are beings of short stature who all possess beards and are often friendly with Hobbits, although long suspicious of Elves. They are typically smiths and stone workers by profession, unrivaled in some of their arts, even by the Elves.

Men:The race of Men is the second race of beings created by the One God, Ilúvatar. Because they awoke at the start of the Years of the Sun, while the Elves awoke at the start of the First Age, they are called the Afterborn by the Elves. Men bear the so-called Gift of Men, mortality. Elves are immortal, in the sense that even if their bodies are slain, their spirits remain bound to the world, going to the Halls of Mandos to wait until they are released or the world ends. Elves are tied to the world for as long as it lasts. When Men die, they are released from Arda and its bounds and depart to a world unknown even to the Valar. There are many types of men both good and Evil.

Orcs:Orcs are of human shape, but smaller than Men, ugly, and filthy. They are squat, broad, flat-nosed, sallow-skinned, with wide mouths and slant eyes. Although not dim-witted, they are portrayed as dull and miserable beings, who are only able to destroy, not to create.

Uruk-hai: The are large black orcs of great strength. The can run for miles without getting tired. They don't know fear or pain.
