For thousands of years we hid in the shadows and stayed behind the scenes. We lived a Masquerade. The kindred known to the humans as vampires, worked, lived and fed on humanity. The Garou known as Werewolfs also did their best to stay hidden. But that all changed July of 2016. The United states Government declared an all out war On all "Unnaturals". This is when our two nations, kindred and Garou joined together under through negotiations of Lard Arkady SilverFang and High Bishop Nicolaus Magnus. No longer where their bloodlines labeled with names like Giovanni, Tremere or Get of Fenris and Black Furies. But now all fall under the chosen name of the newly founded council.... SilverFangs.
When the Apocalypse finally ended in 2022 we where all but exterminated. All major cities had been destroyed by hacking the humans own missile bases leaving humanity scattered across the wastelands. Even though the war is over and life can barely exists under the dark, smoke filled sky humanity continues on trying to exterminate our race.
In this New World of Darkness we have been forced to live in the Red Zones. Dark, cold Radioactive zones were humanity wont come. Only leaving the sanctuary also known as Gehenna, the Last City, to search for prey and supplies. When out of the restricted area you must keep an ever watchful eye for groups of humans patrolling the borders. Even though there is no government or law the humans are as vigil as ever and only have one thing on their mind and that is the eradication of our species.
