We all know the story of how Aizen betray the Soul Society and continued to cause mayhem only adding insult to injury. Well, he soon got what was coming to him and he had met his fate. Soul Society returned back to its normal status, them patrolling the earth and laying waste to all hollows. Balance was being preserved once more and when the new Sou Taichou, Luna Lostran, was elected, things only seem to get better each day. Her power was impressive, and her lead was second to none before her. She seemed to be ahead of her time in terms of skill. With such loyalty and power, whoever thought a captain commander would ever become a traitor. The whole time, she had been planning such an attack on Soul Society. Luring the Gotei Thirteen into a devastating trap and killing most of the captains. Only a handful survived and they were left with wounds that would put them out of commission for a while. With no one to stand in her way, certainly not a handful of vice captains, she tore apart the Soul Society leaving her branded mark of far more insult than Aizen himself could conjure and she had done so without the Hogyoku. After taking her leave, she purposely left the handful that were holding onto their pathetic existence by a thread alive on purpose. She wanted to see how they would answer back to her. If they could match or best her and her new armor of arrancar.
This was not the pathetic armor of arrancar that were made through the power of some created artifact. They were not that pathetic. They all had become Arrancar on their own so their sheer willpower and raw resolve exceeded that of their former ancestors. They would not be taken down so easy. To prove this point, they would wipe out what Luna, the new leader of Hueco Mundo deemed obsolete. She first started with the Quincy. They were on the verge of being extinct anyway right? She was not a leader who showed mercy so to make sure that the job got done, she ignorantly sent her entire espada and killed every last member of Quincy. They left a trail of blood the entire way just to spit in the faces of the shinigami. They shouldn’t have such disgust with her, she was doing the shinigami a favor. Taking out a race that they failed to erase. They were of no importance. Why should she stop there? The upcoming bounts, and loose Vizards were attacked and killed as well. Wannabe Hollows, and more experiments gone wrong had no existence in the world she was creating. Now that all side and pathetic threats had easily been eradicated by what she deemed to be her invincible army, her next task is to finish what she started and destroy the Seireitei. Memories of the captains who know of Luna have turmoil, and anger that run deep. Do the new Gotei have what it takes to stand up to her army let alone her? Well, let’s put the protectors to the test shall well?
