Our Story...
The valley town of Green Glen was once known as an exceptionally prosperous place- the seasons were mild, the crops bountiful and the livestock healthy as can be! But don't thank the Harvest Goddess just yet- that would go against all local tradition! The people of Green Glen gave there thanks to The Seven Spirits. However, some time ago certain villagers began to focus more on some spirits than others, upsetting a delicate social balance between their deities! As the spat between the seven grew, the land suffered. Many people simply moved on, and it lost it's excellent reputation.
Generations later, things seem to have cooled down quite a bit- though Green Glen is still not what it once was, more and more people dare to settle there. As the new settlers explore, they're bound to some into contact with the local lore- in some cases, even literally! Will they be able to calm the feud and restore balance, or will they feed the fire?
Spirits/ Roles
The Gambler [Taken] : A Deity of luck- both good and bad. Said to have a mischievous nature, this playful spirit can be more harmful than one might think.
The Home- Maker [Open]: Said to be important particularly to the inn keepers of the old days, This deity protected the home and kept it running smoothly.
The Mother [Open]: A Deity of fertility, said to be especially revered by Farmers and ranchers- this spirit brought rich and fertile soils, and success in the addition of new livestock as well.
The Purifier [Open]: Said to be fond of the land’s water, this deity was infamous for cleansing of all which needed it, or, when angered, problems with clutter and filth.
The Sky Roamer [Open]: This Spirit was said to protect travelers, and bring the weather and winds into the valley.
The Medic [Open]: Believed to bring good health and strength of the body to the people of the Valley.
The Lover [Open]: Is love in the air? This spirit was said to make it so and fill others will those warm emotions… but also to bring disastrous feelings such as jealousy.
