It has been almost 500 years since the legendary Harry Potter attended and graduated from Hogwarts. And almost 507 years since he and his fellow students defeated the Dark Lord Voldemort and his army of Death Eaters in the second Wizarding war. As great as the war was, and the banishing of the Dark Lord an amazing feat for Potter; after years of merriment, joy and being free from fear, after hundreds of years, the magic and amazement of the story lost it's glow... Now, to some, the story is exactly that, a story. A myth. A Fairy tail. Even the descendant of the Great Heros seem to disbelieve their forefathers' great battle between good and evil. But, as their descendant attend Hogwarts for the first time as children, their destinies seem to become clearer. Mysterious things being to happen at Hogwarts... An adventure is about to unfold before all of the decedents of J.K Rowling's original characters, along with new and unsuspecting characters. Things you should know about this guild

1. I am GOD! (Jk) What I say goes, I have the right and authority to change, add, adjust, or completely change the rules if I seen necessary.
2. In this guild we use third character when Role-playing.
3. It maybe 500 years into the future, but I plan to make Hogwarts the same as it was when Harry went here. So, no cell phones, no Mp3's or IPod, no T.V.'s, etc. There is also nothing like, teleporters around school to get to class faster, or holographic postcards with your mom standing there telling you not to forget to apply your ointment twice a day... The wizarding world is magical and classic and should stay that way.
4. I plan to make events quite random. I think it'll make things much more interesting than saying "Okay everyone, there's going to be something big happening on Tuesday, September 26th!" That just gives away the surprise!!! If you're not active, you'll miss the fun and I wont feel sorry for you because you werent active.
5. I do understand though that many of you have school now, and I will be considerate of that. I myself may not be on much during the week. But, if you have time, get on Gaia, check out the guild. Make a post. Also, I expect much more posting on weekends...

Rules

3. We are following Harry Potter as Closely as Possible So NOT EVERYONE can have an invisibility cloak, Have superly amazing magical powers, and speak parsletongue. It just would never happen.
4. Make at least 5 posts a month. One post a week at the least. You will be banned if you fail to post without telling us you'll be gone.
5. Be respectful to the guild moderators, as well as your fellow members.
6. Don't spam!
7. Mention "Salazar Slytherin's snake slithers in the sand under the sun!" in your join request, so we know you read the rules.
7 1/2. To read the secret saying, highlight the big white space in the middle of sentence on rule number 7.

10. Make sure you read all of the Main forum and check the Main Forum regularly for updates.
11.You must follow the rules or you will get kicked out after being told three times.
12. Please use quotes "Like this!" when speaking in character and brackets ((Like this)) {Or this} [[Or this]] When speaking out of character.
13. Please try to be as literate as possible! I think it's fairly annoying when people are so illiterate its just sad... TRY!
14. If you are in Gryffindor post in red, Ravenclaw blue, Hufferpuff orange, and Slytherin green.

Character layouts are welcome, but you must either/or (1)Post in your house's one or two colors; primary and/or secondary. So, Ex; If you'er in Gryffindor, you can post in red color."And then talk in gold color.". Or you can just post in one solid school color. (2)Have your school year clearly depicted in the layout. This is so all of us can clearly see what school year you are in. (3)And, it cant streach the page too much. If I or one of the VC think's your layout streaches too much, you must change it or get rid of it.

~To Join~
1. Please tell me how much you know about the Harry Potter Series. What you've read. What movies you've seen, ect.
2. Tell me a good reason why you want to join? At least one full, good sentence.
3. Please tell me about how much role-playing experience you have. Do you like role playing? Are you in a lot of Role playing guilds?
4. Will you be active? Do you have time to participate in my guild? And do you accept the consequences that if you are not active I can ban you from the guild.
5. And lastly, please give me about one paragraph (About 5-6 sentences) of role playing. Can be about anything. In third character, and has to have at lest one line of dialog.
