The Story Thus Far
As time passed on the Greater Continent, pressure collided within. Humans polluting, Demons destroying. Everyone was arguing over this and that. Nothing seemed to be going right between the two races. Even love between a human girl and demonic angel was destroyed.
Kichi, a young water mage, is the leader of the human side. Aero, on the other hand, is the demon leader. Kichi and Aero met at a young age and fell in love. But since the humans kept dumping their filth in the Andot River, the demons revolted. Aero soon forgot Kichi as the years passed and fell in love with another. Kichi's intelligence got word of this, and she refused to believe it, 'till she met with him again. A small battle broke out between the two. Aero, already angry, became even more frustrated with her. Kichi however, had not moved on and still continues to go after him. In hopes to win his heart back.
After the fierce battle, tempers raged. The Humans argued that Demons had destroyed so much of the Human territory that they were entitled to receive payment for their losses. The Demons complained that the Humans, who were advancing technologically at a very fast rate, were disgracing the land by making landfills and dumping waste in the Andot.
Rebel factions sprang up everywhere. On Friday, October 13, 1189, the Demons of the village Firunokas crossed the Andot and attacked the peaceful human settlement of Ceutes. After three days of battle, Ceutes fell. Houses were burned. There were few survivors.
Kichi was outraged. In retaliation, she sent a tiny fraction of the her Human Army to gather in Vinana, about thirty miles upriver from Firunokas and Ceutes. The platoon traveled swiftly downriver and attacked Firunokas on Wednesday, October 18. Firunokas was destroyed in a matter of hours.
Kichi and Aero traveled to the site of the ruined towns. They'd received letters from a small group calling themselves HIRO. The letters were signed by five people. Two and a half of them were human. Two and a half were demon. Landon of Galena. Marina of Wokries. Aria of North Junction. Nina of Nigh. And Ray of Kniana. A peace treaty was proposed. Before any decision was made, the party was attacked by human forces, under the leadership of Commander Zach White, who was ordered to attack by Stephen, the tyrannical king of the Human Monarchy, who believed that Aero was responsible for the recent disappearance of the Royal Heir, Princess Chez. Kichi was captured and deported back to Akerue. Aero escaped and fled to an area south of El Riksthar. The five HIRO members were either convicted of treason, or captured as demonic. The five were drugged, and thrown off the bridge into the Andot. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
.....And so it begins. Do you try to resurrect HIRO or hang with the Demons and Humans? Decide, and put the fate of the world in your hands.
